Pigs in a blanket

I made pigs in a blanket with a silicone mould with little pigs. The bakeware is cute. However, you really need mini hot dogs to make it work.

I had regular hot dogs and cut them up into smaller pieces. I still felt that they were large.

The pigs in a blanket did turn out well. I will try reducing the time in the oven from 20 to 15 minutes. I found that the pancake batter was crispier than I would have liked. I used a sugar-free batter. I'm not sure if that had an effect.

I enjoy baking. It's fun.

Coming down with a cold, having fond memories, and seeing a movie

The good news is that the workweek is over. My team got our software release work done ahead of schedule.

The bad news? I feel like I'm coming down with a cold. My nose is running and stuffy. I also have a slight sore throat. Ugh!

I took a nap for nearly an hour. It happened two hours ago. It's not a normal thing for me. I am hoping that some extra hours of sleep will kick my cold to the curb.

Now that things are less hectic, my guy not being the love of my life anymore has set in. I think of the fond memories that we have shared, but am also annoyed at how he decided to call it quits. I truly deserved a lot better.

I am hoping to go see a movie later on today. I have amassed a ton of points that it's time to splurge. I also have a movie gift card to use. I need some time for me and perhaps a hot dog.

My guy wearing math underwear

Last Christmas, I bought my guy a pair of bamboo underwear. The pattern had math equations on it and was named smarty pants. They were fitting (pun intended), as we both like math and he is geeky. My guy told me that he loved them and wanted to change his all his underwear to be bamboo.

I have never seen him in said pair of underwear until last Saturday. I was playing with his hard cock for a while in his pants. He then undid his pants.
"I'm wearing your underwear that you got me last year," he said with a huge grin.
"Nice!" I exclaimed, touching the material before I continued playing with his member.
It's nice when he appreciates a gift that I have bought him. It was also great that I made him ejaculate all over my hand that night.

I could get him another pair. One pattern has hot dogs all over. I would love to see him in it, but I am not sure that he'd like seeing hot dogs, as he always tells me that they are bad for me to consume!

Phone call, hot dogs, and a harder spanking

My guy called me last night while he was walking to the gym.
"It sounds like you're going through a wind tunnel," I said to him.
"Yes, it's breezy. I have to walk on the road, as there is construction," he explained.
"Ah, okay. New houses?" I asked him.
"A new Costco is being built close by," he explained.
"That's deadly," I remarked. "You will be walking from your home to Costco every day."
"Yes, I could," he said, as it is his favourite store.
"I'm envious," I admitted.
"Why?" he asked.
"You get to walk over there and get a hot dog," I noted.
"I won't be getting a hot dog," he stated firmly.
"I would, because hot dogs are yummy," I said to him.
"No, they are bad for you. That's why you're a bad girl," he reasoned.
"No, hot dogs are super yummy and I'm a good girl," I protested.
"How's your butt? Is it still sore?" he asked.
"The soreness is almost gone," I replied.
"I need to spank you harder."
There is always a next time to get a sore backside that lasts for days.

Hot dogs and an upcoming spanking

Conversations that my guy and I have are fun. Part of our conversation the other day went like the following:
"I'm hungry and I don't know where to go to grab a bite to eat," I said to my guy as I was driving (my phone was connected to my bluetooth speakerphone in my car).
"Why don't you go to Costco and get a hot dog?" he suggested.
"What?!" I questioned, as if I had heard him incorrectly. "You're letting me get a hot dog?"
"Yes," he replied.
"See, miracles can come true," I stated factually. "When you come back, I will drive your car."
"Um, no," he replied.
"Sure, I will. I may need another two years to convince you, but it will happen. I am a good girl after all," I hinted.
"You will never be a good girl. If I weren't away, you'd have a sore butt."
"No, you're wrong. I'm definitely a good girl," I teased.
"When I am back, the first matter is to punish you and give you a hard spanking," he said.
I love our conversations. He does, too.

Blog posts, texting, and gifts

One of the main reason why I haven't posted much these days has been because I have been texting on Skype with my guy. When my guy was in Seattle, we had a three-hour time difference. Luckily, I am a night owl, so we would text at around midnight my time. This period is normally dedicated to my blogging up a storm.

So, I have been moonlighting here and there, trying to find alternative times in the day to blog. It's difficult, especially when I work long hours.

Anyway, I hope to get back to more regular blog posts. This post is a good start.

A week ago, my guy brought back a number of gifts for me. Here they are in no particular order:
  • Selfie stick
I have been fighting getting one. I don't exactly want to join the self-absorbed number out there who take lots of photos of themselves. My guy and I thought that it's helpful to have one when you are travelling alone. We tend to ask other tourists to take our photos, but they don't always turn out as great as you had hoped. I always joke that you can't see the background when I take a selfie because my head is so big. My guy laughs at my remark, but he has always insisted that I exaggerate that point. He says that roughly two-thirds of a person's head is in a selfie.

Anyway, he got me a selfie stick with a button on the stick itself. It's pink (he couldn't find one in purple, so this colour is my next preferred one). I must admit that it is a lot of fun. I will use it when I travel and when I want my guy to be in a photo with me.

He bought this item in Seattle for $10. The same model is double the price in Toronto.
  • A glass popcorn popper
To make a long story short, I like small appliances. I already have a popcorn popper. My guy and I were talking about small appliances. I indicated that I wanted a s'mores maker, but they are only sold during the holiday season. I don't get that, considering that you have s'mores when you go camping.

I had mentioned to my guy that he could get me a hot dog maker. He flat out doesn't want me to indulge in hot dogs, which I find delicious. In our conversation, he joked that my wanting a hot dog maker was making him angry and said that I should be punished for bringing that request up. I pouted and my guy caved.

"Why are you saying yes to buying me a hot dog maker?" I asked him.
"I would buy you anything," my guy said in his sweet way.
    "You're caving," I replied.
"I know, but I can't be Mr Meanie forever."

Anyway, I like the idea of popping kernels in a glass container in a microwave, without adding oil. So, he bought that for me, which I love.
  • Dark chocolate edamame from Trader Joe's
A couple of years ago, I had mentioned to my guy that I loved dark chocolate edamame. I love edamame and dark chocolate separately. Naturally, I would love them together. My guy went to Trader Joe's for the first time and bought me a couple of boxes.

I had mentioned casually that I was rationing my last box. He brought back two more boxes. I don't have to ration for a while.
  • LED light for seasonal affective disorder
My guy suffers from bouts of depression. I get sad now and again, but it is nowhere as serious as what my guy deals with. Instead, my mood goes downhill when it's cloudy outside, especially during the winter.

When I lived in the Central timezone (Manitoba and Minnesota, specifically), there were far more sunny days than there are in southern Ontario. When it's cloudy outside, I feel sluggish and blah.

When my guy and I first started dating, I told him about a light that I strap around my head that improves my mood. It works, but it's not the most comfortable device, especially for someone like me who has bangs and can't see what I am doing. My guy got me a stand LED light that does the same thing, except that it sits on the table next to you. It solves my I-can't-see issue with the headlight strapped around my head.
My guy gives thoughtful gifts. I still have to talk about the gifts that he got me when he was in Mexico.

Careful listening leads to a trip to Walmart

My guy is thoughtful. Sometimes, it blows me away.

The other night, we were talking on Skype. Somehow, our conversation led me to talk about a s'mores machine. I saw one a while back at Walmart, but never got around to buying one. I do love s'mores.

Anyway, we had this text conversation on Skype last night. My guy is still in Seattle:
MG: I went to Walmart today
Me: Ooh, Walmart. Any goodies?
MG: They never heard of the s'mores machine
Me: :(
Me: You're sweet for trying to track one down.
MG: I was hoping they would carry it
Me: I saw one here at Walmart in Stouffville a while back.
MG: It would have been a nice surprise that makes you smile that charming smile of yours
It's thoughtful that he remembered that I wanted a s'mores maker and he took the time to find one. Apparently, you can order the s'mores maker online, but it's not the same case finding one at stores.

We often have disagreements about hot dogs. There is a hot dog machine available. I'd like one, but he is against my eating a ton of hot dogs, as if I would overdose on them. He told me that I was a bad girl. I like when he does that. It's fun pushing his buttons and teasing him.

J is for joke and jerk -- a double-paddling evening

My guy started the day off by taking his belt off a pair of pants that he had worn the day before. The belt fell, landing on the carpeted floor. I picked it up. He wrapped most of the belt around his hand and thought that it would be good to punish me with it.

I am a bit hesitant about getting the belt across my backside. Getting welts terrifies me. My guy said that we should try it and that he would take it easy on me. We'll see how that goes when I am ready.

After work, my guy picked me up at the hotel and we drove over to Costco. We ate at the food court, because he was getting hungry. He bought me a hot dog. It was a miracle! He told me that I have been good about not eating hot dogs so often, so he was okay buying me one. He got the Montreal smoked meat sandwich (it makes sense, now that we are in the city). I suggested that we also get fries with gravy. We both don't normally eat fries, but the ones at Costco are yummy.

My guy doesn't normally do gravy. He tried it and liked it. Perhaps one day, I will convince him to eat a hot dog. However, it is a victory for me to just have him buy one without telling me that eating one is bad for me.

We then walked around the store. We didn't get anything that stood out. Afterwards, we went to Winners and Best Buy before heading back to our hotel room.

I was looking for a case for my Bose speaker. I was telling him earlier that I had found it, but no one was willing to help me out at the Bose store. My guy said that the sales guy was a Bose-zo. It was my guy's attempt at telling a punny joke. He's cute that way.

My guy wanted to spank me before we both hit the sack. He was playing the stern disciplinarian, telling me to go get the leather paddle. I didn't want to. He threatened to use the belt on me. I got scared and suggested that he use the slippers that were in the room.

He did a test run on me. The sound that the slipper was making against my buttocks was nice, but it didn't hurt me. Instead, he went back to demanding that I fetch the leather paddle.

I reluctantly got it. He told me to give it to him. I played the girl who was too afraid to. Eventually, I did. He then gestured to go over his knee. I resisted at first, which he managed to swat me a couple of times before I was finally over his knee.

He spanked me hard with the leather paddle. He reinforced the fact that I am always a bad girl. I kicked up my feet when it hurt. He tapped my feet and calves, and continued slapping my butt. It hurt, but I loved it.

He then played with my crotch and, eventually, I came. It was nice. I then cuddled up to him and he held me.

We watched a bit of TV.
"I need to spank you again," he stated.
"Why?" I asked curiously.
"For not playing with my hard cock," he reasoned.
"But, you didn't tell me that you wanted me to do that," I whined.
"It's understood. Get over my knee,"
"No," I said defiantly.
"Don't make me pull you over my knee myself," he said sternly.
I got out of my cuddling position, kissed his forehead, and obediently when over his knee.

The second round of smacks with the leather paddle hurt a lot more. I loved it. He has never spanked me twice within an hour.

After my second paddling, I hugged him tightly for a bit. I then nuzzled his erect penis. I then reached in his pants to play with it before we both pulled down both his briefs and pants.

I gave my guy a handjob. He loves when I jerk him off. It showed.

We both had a good evening. I tucked him in and kissed him goodnight.

Snow and fun spanking texts before boarding

Last week was another hectic one at the office. Throw in some snowstorms to make the workweek even more challenging. Hey, why not?

I was so exhausted that I slept for 9.5 hours on Friday night. Needless to say, blogging has taken a temporary backseat.

Last Saturday, my guy boarded a plane and was flying to Warsaw for yet another business trip. For the last couple of trips, he has been sweet to text me up until the cabin announcement kicks in that everyone has to shut off their electronic devices.

An excerpt of our fun conversation went like the following after I had made a joke about my guy (MG):
MG: You're bad
Me: No, I'm a good girl
MG: No, you're too naughty
Me: Only you say that. I'm good. (makeup icon)
MG: Need to be disciplined
Me: I don't think so.
MG: I know so
Me: Well, you're away for a bit, so my bottom is safe from Mr Meanie
MG: You're lucky I'm not with you right now
Me: Yes and no. I miss your lips
MG: Or I would be punishing you
Me: But, you would spank me hard for no reason
MG: Yes I would
Me: See, so unfair, Mr Meanie!
MG: But there are many reasons
Me: Nooooo
MG: Yesssss
MG: Bad girl
Me: I went to Costco this week and didn't eat a hot dog.
Me: Therefore, I'm a good girl.
Me: Nooooo
MG: Temporarily
Me: Good girl
Me: Nooooo
Me: All the time
MG: No way
Me: Good girl = me = yes!
Me: Mr Meanie = mean = wrong to spank me for no reason
MG: Even if you tried to be good, you're still bad and deserve a spanking
MG: We're taking off
Me: Nooooo! See, you're so unfair to good me
Me: Okay
Me: Safe travels
Me: Sleep well [kiss emoticon]
MG: Thanks! [kiss emoticon]
Our text conversations make his departures a bit easier to take.

Outlet shopping and fondling

After work last Wednesday, my two guests from Sweden, my guy, and I were off to the outlet mall. Getting there takes twenty minutes by car from work. However, during heavy Toronto rush hour traffic, it could take longer.

My guy could only shop for a bit before he had to head home. The outlet mall is on his way home. As for me, I was travelling further away from my home. That was fine.

I took the Swedes in my car. I had to ask my guy whether he knew where he was going. He is a self-professed, directionally challenged guy. He was okay. He had his trusty GPS.

I got there in a decent time and backed into a spot in the parking lot. The Swedish guy admired my rear backup camera in my car and liked how effortlessly it was for me to back into any spot.

We walked over and stood in front of the Hudson's Bay store. We were trying to synchronize our watches to figure out when we should meet after we split up to go on our own shopping sprees.

I got a text from my guy, asking where we were. I told him that we were in front of his favourite store. About two minutes later, he was there. He wasn't surprised that I was there sooner than he did. He shared that I had a lead foot.

We all went into his favourite store. Eventually, the Swedes left for more higher priced goods. My guy and I stayed there for a decent period. My guy loves shopping for clothes. I love seeing him in clothes that make him even more attractive than he already is.

We were looking at cashmere sweaters.
"What do you think of this mustard-coloured sweater?" he asked me.
"It would look good on you. You don't have that colour. How about the green one?"
"I don't need another green one. I love the one that you gave me last year," he said in his sweet way.
"Well, they have these sweaters in ketchup, mustard, and relish. You're a hot dog," I concluded.
Before he got disgusted by my statement, I quickly added the following:
"You have nice buns."
He smiled and chuckled. It was corny, but true.

We then headed over to the men's jacket section.
"What size do you take?" I asked him.
"Either a 42 or 44 long," he replied.
"I already knew about the long part," I said, which he liked.
We headed back to the sweater section.
"I like this sweater," my guy pointed out. "I need a large."
"I know. You are always large," I replied.
We slowly left the sweater aisle. He was ahead of me, reached back, and knew exactly where my crotch was. He was playing with it. He's such a fun, naughty guy.

The best part was sitting on a black cushioned bench. My guy was trying on a spiffy pair of dress shoes. He bent over to tie his shoelaces after he was done. I helped myself. I reached over and groped his butt. He looked at me, happy at how affectionate I was. I gave him a side hug and rested my head against his chest.

Unfortunately, my guy didn't buy anything, but he liked the selection that he found that evening. I was going to buy a pair of Canada red mittens. They go to a worthy cause, and they are both warm and stylish.

I went to pay for them. My guy immediately plopped down money and paid for them. He is so sweet and thoughtful.

I wish shopping were always this fun. It helps to shop with someone you love who also likes causing a bit of mischief.

Workouts and hot dogs

Our conversations have interesting backdrops at times. Yesterday's was a good example.

After work, I was hungry and grabbed a quick bite to eat at a restaurant fairly close to work. I stayed there for nearly an hour before I went back into my car and was about to drive away.

My guy texted me on Skype. He is in Bangkok, so we have a twelve-hour difference. It was 07:00 in the morning his time.
"Waking up?" I asked him.
"Yep," he replied. "Home yet?"
"Nope, I just finished eating."
My guy wanted to hear my voice and was off to the gym. Normally, I am the one with the earbuds and phone talking to him. It was a role reversal on his part. As for me, I was in my car, with my phone connected to my car's bluetooth speakerphone.

I thought that I would be able to hear my guy huff and puff while working out. Well, we were talking and the Internet connection got lost when he was in the elevator. It was not surprising. He told me that he doesn't jog on the treadmill, so he would be able to talk to me.

It was a great conversation. The 7-Eleven by his hotel sells shrimp dumplings. I had to ask him whether it had Slurpees. Of course, I had to touch on the fact that 7-Eleven also sells hot dogs.
"That's just the perfect, unhealthy meal -- a hot dog and a Slurpee," he said to me in a disappointed tone.
"If it makes you feel better, I ate a hot dog at the movies on the weekend," I stated proudly.
"Um, that doesn't make me feel good," he replied.
"And, at Target, I found this little plastic basket that had mini hot dog designs on it. It would be amazing if I got this basket and put a real hot dog in it," I said with a huge grin on my face.
"Do you want me to break up with you if you do this?" he challenged me.
"I just want my bottom smacked," I said, which was true.
"You'll get that no matter what," he replied.
So, that made me feel all warm and fuzzy. It was my virtual hug from him. And, no, he wouldn't break up with me over my liking to enjoy an occasional hot dog. I just like teasing him about it.

Hot dogs - miracles do come true

If you have been reading along for a bit, you will know that I do enjoy eating a hot dog from time to time. I tend to have a hot dog when I'm hungry after exercising my wallet at Costco. I also like having a hot dog when I am watching either a live sporting event or a movie.

Whenever my guy and I are out, and I see a hot dog option on the menu, I ask him if he would get me one. He will flat out tell me no. He did make an exception a couple of months ago and said that I could order one because he was in a good mood.

Our usual debate is that my guy argues that eating hot dogs is bad for your health. I tell him that I can get all-beef ones. He is unconvinced that they are truly pure beef. So, I end up telling him that eating hot dogs are yummy, which drives him crazy.

Well, he admitted to me that he had to eat some hot dogs last week in Dubai. I asked him for photographic proof. He refused and said that I should trust him.

My guy was still recovering from his jetlag. He woke up one morning and was running late for work. He ended up going to work on an empty stomach. My guy is the type of person who cannot function if he is hungry. He needs to curb his hunger immediately before he can function normally.

The only food available during his first break at the customer site were hot dogs. He told me that it was painful for him to eat them (yes, plural), but he was hungry and had no choice in the matter.

Today, I teased him that he has eaten more hot dogs this year than I have. It's a fun exercise, likely resulting in a sore bottom on my part. It's worth it!

Directions and songs about hot dogs

My guy was in Montreal all last week for work. We talked on Skype a handful of times, which helps ease the pain from being away from each other.

He is directionally challenged. I often tease him. On the contrary, I am pretty good with directions. Even when I am in an unfamiliar city, if you give me a map, I am fine getting around.

Montreal can be a bit confusing, for it isn't truly on a grid system. When I was there a few years ago, I drove there from Toronto and was perfectly fine. It helps that my car has a built-in GPS.

My guy's lifeline is his GPS. Without it, he is truly helpless. Well, that fact changed.
"For the first time, I drove with two GPSs," he said to me.
"What?" I replied, puzzled by his statement.
"I had my regular GPS with me and the one on my phone," he stated.
"Why did you need two?"
"My regular one wasn't giving me accurate directions. My phone was much better at it for the most part."
I would be pretty distracted having two GPSs going simultaneously. I could go crosseyed if I had them on either side of the steering wheel!

I joke often that he stays with me because whenever we go shopping together, I can lead him to his car after we're done. What he needs is a phone application that tells him where he has parked. I have one on my phone, but haven't used it.

We are silly together, especially when we're tired. We talked about his experience going to Costco in downtown Montreal, which he found just fine. I always bug him that he never buys me a hot dog from the place.
"Oh, no. Not this conversation again," my guy said with dread.
"You can buy tons of hot dogs there," I said with childlike wonder.
"Hot dogs are bad for you with tons of chemicals," he sang.
"No, they aren't," I replied.
"Yes, they are. Hot dogs should not be consumed by you," he sang some more.
"They are yummy, yummy, yummy!" I sang back at him with my reply.
It made him laugh. I couldn't help but to laugh with him. It's not everyday that you have a singing conversation about hot dogs.

H is for hot dog

This challenge is for 26 days, as each day starts with a letter from the alphabet. So, with June having 30 days, I could either blog six days a week, or just trying to get through each day with the next letter of the alphabet. I seem to be doing the latter. We'll see if I can continue this trend!

I talk about my love for eating a hot dog now and again. Last week, I went to South St. Burger Company and ordered one. My guy called me while I was indulging. I am probably one of the few p people who love a leafy lettuce leaf in my hot dog bun. We then talked on Skype and I told him about it.

My guy vows never to get me a hot dog. He is right that a hot dog isn't exactly the healthiest food you can choose, but he is bending a bit these days. This compromise consists of my buying a hot dog and eating it occasionally.

Our hot dog debate started when we were both in St. Louis. My guy loves Costco. It is his favourite store. We went there to shop. My guy is boyish in that when he is hungry, he must eat something or else he will be a grumpy guy. He may start whining. It wouldn't be a pleasant experience. So, we ate there.

He is a gentleman in that he will always pay for my meal whenever we are out. He doesn't have to. He wants to. At Costco, it was the same routine, except that he wouldn't let me order a hot dog.

Since then, I always bring up the suggestion of going out to get a hot dog. I like to see my guy roll his eyes and tell me that it will never happen. I will playfully pout and whine.

One conversation that I never wrote about went something like the following several months ago:
"You're mean. You should let me order whatever I want to eat at Costco, including a hot dog."
"Hot dogs are not healthy," he reasoned. "They have tons of chemicals that I don't want in your body."
"True, but they are yummy to have now and again," I insisted. "You want me to be happy, right?"
"Well, you have a larger hot dog that you can eat," he said, making his segue into being naughty. "My hot dog is reusable and healthy. You can also put all the condom-ents on that you want."
He's punny that way.

Wanting a hot dog

After the CAA guy had left, we had to make sure that my guy's car was running for thirty minutes. My guy asked me if I wanted to go to Costco with him. I was game.

Earlier, I could tell after he had called CAA that he was stressed. I had to ask him how he was. He was upset at himself that he had also locked his keys in his car. I said that CAA could get his keys, too. Everything worked out.

We drove along the highway with the windows down. We didn't want to crank up the air conditioning so soon, as we didn't want to kill the car battery that had just got a decent boost. It was humid out, but it was tolerable.

We went to Costco. As usual, my guy was hungry and asked if we could stop at the food place first.

I wanted a hot dog. I don't eat them too often, but it's my go-to item at Costco. I sat at the only empty bench as my guy took out some money at the ATM.
"So, what would you like to eat that is not a hot dog?" he asked me.
"I want a hot dog," I said, feeling like I was a little girl.
"No, I am not getting you a hot dog. How about the turkey provolone panini or the Montreal roast beef sandwich?"
"I want a hot dog," I said.
"No, hot dogs are not good for you."
I caved. I finally said that I would give the turkey provolone panini a try. I must admit that it is yummy as we sat there and chomped away.
"See, that woman has two hot dogs," I said, hinting that my guy wasn't being nice.
"You are not getting a hot dog," he said firmly.
"But, I like hot dogs. They are yummy goodness to me."
"See, her boyfriend is cheap and doesn't care about her health," he explained. "Your boyfriend cares about getting healthy food for you, even though he is cheap."
"Okay, if you say so," I said.
"Besides, you get to eat a different kind of hot dog later."
He was correct. We both smirked and looked for a new car battery at the store. We didn't find one. We did, however, find one at Walmart across the street.

It was an unexpected type of date night. It was nonetheless great just being with my guy. He felt more at ease after buying the battery. I felt the same way, too.
