Fitness reward, incompetence at work, and sushi

I am a part of a corporate fitness program. There is a fitness challenge every quarter. I achieved my challenge for this quarter, which consists of getting $75 towards anything at the online store.

I typically get an electronic gift card. It gets sent to my work e-mail. I had to log in to my work account to fetch the code and use my gift card.

The problem is that I ended up glancing at e-mails from work and I didn't want to. I noticed that one developer decided that since I was away for two days, he had to forward the work to my colleague.

First, his update isn't urgent. It was already assigned to me and I needed more details from him. Second, he sent the update to the wrong person who isn't my backup. She's the incompetent one that decided to forward a question to this developer's boss and take on this task. She didn't tell him that she isn't my backup.

I'll need to sort these issues out when I return. I have already told this developer in the past that this incompetent person isn't my backup. Some folks don't know better.

Anyway, today is Family Day. I hope to go out and pick up some sushi. I just looked at some photos and everything looks good. I shouldn't look at food before I go to bed. I need a snack now!

Hungry and cooking

It's past midnight and I'm hungry. The debate is whether I am truly hungry or if I need to drink some water.

I know that if I have something to eat now that it will keep me up longer. I will see if it will go away.

On Sunday, I made tuna salad. I also fried up an entire package of bacon, which will last me the whole week. I also sauteed brussel sprouts.

I enjoy cooking on weekends. It's unfortunate that weekends are so short.

Stopping hunger pangs and getting soaked in the rain

After running an errand after work, I was hungry. I had dinner at one of my favourite Hakka restaurants.

The sky was grey. I risked it and didn't bring my umbrella. Bad move.

When I left the restaurant, it was pouring outside. I was parked roughly 200 metres away and was soaked by the time I got into my car. Ah, what fun!

At least I got some volume in my hair once it dried, thanks to my car's air conditioning.

Hong Kong breakfast - so good!

I fasted for my bloodwork. All went well. I will wait patiently for the results.

Afterwards, I was hungry and needed breakfast. I visited a Hong Kong-style eatery. For just under $7, I got macaroni with luncheon meat in soup, two fried eggs, two sausages, buttered toast, Hong Kong milk tea, and hot water.

The macaroni and luncheon meat in soup reminded me of the food my mom made growing up. I never had it for breakfast until now. It was so filling.

This breakfast special is an all-day menu item. I may need to go back and get more. I can see myself hanging around that place when I am retired.

Reaching out when someone is hungry

At various intersections across the greater Toronto area, there are often folks who will walk between cars stopped at a red light to ask for money. Sometimes, if I have some change, I will give it to them, hoping that they use the money wisely instead of buying a pack of smokes.

The problem these days is that I rarely use cash to pay for anything. I am often using my debit card to pay for purchases. Sometimes, I pay using a credit card.

On Saturday, it was different. There was a man at the intersection that I was stopped at. He was holding a sign saying that he was "very hungry."

The thought that someone is hungry is horrible.

I don't recall his sign saying that he wanted money. Hungry was all that was in my head.

On Friday night, I had stopped by a Starbucks on my way home to buy a two-pack of dark chocolate peanut butter cups. I quickly remembered that it was in my purse. I had used my mobile app to pay for this item, which had a label with my first name on it and the date when I had purchased it.

I grabbed the package, rolled down my window, and handed it to the man. He seemed genuinely thankful.
"Thank you. God bless you. Have a good weekend," he said, cracking a smile.
"You, too," I replied.
The traffic light turned green. I drove off. I saw the man on the cement island, opening the package and eating. It made my day knowing that I helped someone out because I could.

Backstory behind our change of treehouse plans

On Tuesday, my guy called me from a taxi.
"Hey, are you there?" he asked me, referring to the parking lot at work.
"I'm close. I decided not to wait there. My manager's motorcycle is still parked there," I remarked.
"Doesn't he ever leave work?" he asked me.
"Apparently not," I replied. "Is it okay if we move to a different area once I'm there?" I asked him.
"Of course," he said, noting how uncomfortable it would be for both of us.
"Yay!" I replied, which made him chuckle.
The last thing I want to do is have my manager see my guy and I making out in a car at work.

Five minutes later, my guy's taxi had arrived. He paid, got his belongings, and headed over to his car. I did, too.
"Hey, sweetie," I said to him.
"Hey," he replied, peering in as I pulled up next to his parked car.
"Are you hungry?" he asked me.
"I am," I replied, noting that I hadn't had dinner yet.
"Me, too. Let's go have dinner at our usual place," he said.
"Sounds good," I replied.
It's nice that treehouse time ended up being a dinner date.

Ladybug luck

I was hungry. I was caught in rush-hour traffic. I had worked up an appetite and went through a fast-through drive-in to grab a quick bite to eat.

It was strange that, after placing my order, I was asked to drive around and come back. I looked behind me and there wasn't a car. However, after doing a lap around the restaurant, there was a car in front of me. It was odd to me. If my order wasn't ready, why not have me park in front of the restaurant and have someone hand me my food?

Anyway, I got my food and parked my car. With my car windows down, I ate.

Moments later, a ladybug landed on my lap. I wish that I had taken a photo, but I didn't have a chance. It stayed on me for five seconds and then left.

They say that ladybugs bring luck to you when they come visit you. I hope that this superstition is true. The bright red visitor made my day.

Checking in to let me know that my guy made it safely

My guy is sweet. On Saturday, he made the effort to check in with me, to let me know that he made it safely to Chennai.

He never takes it for granted that I am always thinking about him when he is on the road. I know how tired, sleepy, and hungry he tends to be when he travels. I don't nag him to let me know when he has arrived at his destination. I simply know that, once he is well-rested, he will text or call me.

The nicest part about our texting conversation was that he sent me a blowing-a-kiss emoji. Normally, I am the one who initiates it. It was nice that he did that first this time, despite how tired and sleepy he was.

I am thinking that the time change should be a bit easier for him, since he now faces a 4.5-hour difference between Brussels and Chennai. Then again, he has a worse time adjusting to timezones than I do.

Hot dogs and an upcoming spanking

Conversations that my guy and I have are fun. Part of our conversation the other day went like the following:
"I'm hungry and I don't know where to go to grab a bite to eat," I said to my guy as I was driving (my phone was connected to my bluetooth speakerphone in my car).
"Why don't you go to Costco and get a hot dog?" he suggested.
"What?!" I questioned, as if I had heard him incorrectly. "You're letting me get a hot dog?"
"Yes," he replied.
"See, miracles can come true," I stated factually. "When you come back, I will drive your car."
"Um, no," he replied.
"Sure, I will. I may need another two years to convince you, but it will happen. I am a good girl after all," I hinted.
"You will never be a good girl. If I weren't away, you'd have a sore butt."
"No, you're wrong. I'm definitely a good girl," I teased.
"When I am back, the first matter is to punish you and give you a hard spanking," he said.
I love our conversations. He does, too.

Change of lunch plans due to crappy traffic - what else is new?!

My guy and I had planned on having a late lunch on Wednesday. The problem? He called just before the time when we were supposed to meet and told me that he was stuck in traffic. He had been on the road for nearly two hours and wasn't even close to the restaurant.

I decided to drive to him. He was calling me from Islington and the 401. My guy would tell you that I am the most resourceful person he has ever met. I did a search on my phone for a decent restaurant close to where we was. There was a Vietnamese on a couple of exits from where he was, so I suggested that he do that.

Well, he surprised me by saying that he had travelled further along. He is directionally challenged after all! He was now at Avenue Road. I told him to take that exit. He did and waited for me along Wilson Avenue.

My guy and I were chatting for the whole time on the phone. Yes, we were both handsfree. It was funny that I was waiting at the intersection to turn left. I could see a police car. I asked him whether he saw it. He didn't. Well, it turned out that the police car was there for parking violations. The cop was ticketing the car in front of his. My guy was parked in front of the soon-to-be-ticketed car.

My guy saw my car. I told him to pull into a parking lot as I passed his, to avoid getting a ticket.

We parked. My guy got into my car. He looked good, as usual.

I had debated whether to give him his birthday present the day that we fly off to Seattle or a bit earlier. I decided to go with the latter. He loved his present. We kissed. He was cleanly shaven and smelled good.

We had to figure out where to eat. I wanted to do a search on my phone, but my guy was too busy kissing and holding my right hand. He's sweet. He also said that he would rather eat me than lunch!

Eventually, he let go of my hand for a minute, so that I could find a restaurant. I did! We drove over there, which wasn't too far away.

I will write more in a bit. Stay tuned!

Meeting my new car and teasing my guy to let me drive his

My guy finally got to look at and sit in my car. He loves my car, which is high praise from a car enthusiast.

Last Tuesday, I offered to drive us to our regular Chinese restaurant, so he could take a look at my car. He normally insists on doing the driving, but he was good with this exception.

He loved the look my car. The electric blue colour is attractive. He has nicknamed my car Bluie, because of its colour. And, like me, he loves the tire rims.

He likes how my car drives. He even likes the manual mode. Sure, it lacks a clutch, but it's such a fun car to drive.

We got to our usual restaurant and ordered our usual dishes. What was unusual was that our meals took what seemed to be forever to get to us. We were both hungry.

When we were fed and content, we headed back to my car.
"We should drive each other's car. You can drive my brand new car and I can drive your manual car," I teased him with my suggestion.
"Um, no. I am okay driving my car and being a passenger in yours," he said. I smiled at him.
"You should give me the keys to your car just before you leave on your next trip. I will ensure that your car is okay."
Silence. It's fun teasing him.
"The seat hugs me," he remarked.
"Well, with a cute butt like yours, the seat has no choice," I said.
We both smiled as I drove us back to the office.

Pizza and a phone call from my guy

After work on Tuesday, I was hungry. My manager had shared his crazy cheese bread from Little Caesars with me earlier in the day. I loved it so much that I went to the nearest one by my workplace, which was on my way home.

I ordered a box special, which consists of four deep dish slices of pepperoni pizza and ten pieces of crazy cheese bread.

As I was waiting for my order, I did a bit of Web browsing on my phone. I then turned my data off.

A few minutes later, my phone rang. It was my guy. Of course, the woman behind the counter said that my pizza was ready, but the pizza was round. My order had square slices. I had to handle talking to both folks at once.
"Hey, I'm at Little Caesars," I said to my guy.
"I hope that we can talk now. My friend from Quebec City is coming over to stay overnight, so I won't be able to talk like we do at night," my guy explained.
"It's okay. What's your long-distance plan like on your cell phone?" I asked him.
"I don't care. The company pays for it," he replied.
"That's sweet," I said. "If you had to pay, you would be asking me to talk faster," I joked.
It's fun teasing my guy. We both have unlimited long-distance voice on our cell phone plans.

We talked for half an hour. I was hungry, so I ate in my car as we talked. It was kind of like having a virtual date. The food hit the spot. I don't do pizza that often. I should. I like the food here.

Hot dogs - miracles do come true

If you have been reading along for a bit, you will know that I do enjoy eating a hot dog from time to time. I tend to have a hot dog when I'm hungry after exercising my wallet at Costco. I also like having a hot dog when I am watching either a live sporting event or a movie.

Whenever my guy and I are out, and I see a hot dog option on the menu, I ask him if he would get me one. He will flat out tell me no. He did make an exception a couple of months ago and said that I could order one because he was in a good mood.

Our usual debate is that my guy argues that eating hot dogs is bad for your health. I tell him that I can get all-beef ones. He is unconvinced that they are truly pure beef. So, I end up telling him that eating hot dogs are yummy, which drives him crazy.

Well, he admitted to me that he had to eat some hot dogs last week in Dubai. I asked him for photographic proof. He refused and said that I should trust him.

My guy was still recovering from his jetlag. He woke up one morning and was running late for work. He ended up going to work on an empty stomach. My guy is the type of person who cannot function if he is hungry. He needs to curb his hunger immediately before he can function normally.

The only food available during his first break at the customer site were hot dogs. He told me that it was painful for him to eat them (yes, plural), but he was hungry and had no choice in the matter.

Today, I teased him that he has eaten more hot dogs this year than I have. It's a fun exercise, likely resulting in a sore bottom on my part. It's worth it!

Every workday should end with checking into a hotel to be with your loved one

I had one voucher for a free hotel stay left to use by the middle of this month. I decided to use it last Monday.

I found a hotel that was exceptionally close to our workplace. You could actually walk there in less than ten minutes. By car, it was only a three-minute drive.

I left work just before 17:30 and drove down to the hotel. I checked in quickly. The entire process took five minutes. It helps to be an elite member!

As soon as I got to the hotel, I connected to the free wifi and sent a quick message to my guy. He is directionally challenged, so I needed to provide the address with the postal code (he taught me that it's easier to enter the postal or zip code into a GPS than to enter the entire address from scratch), along with the hotel room number.

While waiting for him, I unpacked and freshened up. The hotel room was pretty spacious. I loved the large TV and the kitchenette. I had brought a few snacks with me, including some soup.

The problem whenever I have a kitchen in my hotel room is that I tend to do more cooking than I should. This issue happened to me recently in Denver and Atlantic City. It's okay if I'm in the greater Toronto area, because I am kind of at home. However, if I am travelling, I dig into my sightseeing time by cooking and don't get to truly experience the local cuisine.

The idea tonight was to grab some dinner after my guy and I got together. So, I didn't haul in a ton of groceries to make dinner from scratch.

Anyway, I heard a knock at my door just after 18:00. Of course, I knew who it was and quickly got to the door. As usual, my guy looks handsome as he stood there. He was carrying a lot of stuff with him as he entered the room.
"Wow, you brought your rolling computer bag. Are you planning on working here?" I asked him curiously.
"Well, I have that solve-for-m course," he said, which is the nickname we have dubbed for his online course.
"That means that you're staying here longer?" I asked, fairly excited.
"Yes, we get more time for each other," he said with a huge grin on his face. "I even brought dinner for us."
He's sweet that way.

He plopped all his belongings on the desk. He came over to me and looked me over. I was wearing a short-sleeved blue t-shirt and a short grey skirt.
"You look cute," he said, looking into my eyes.
"You look great yourself," I said.
Our lips locked as we hugged. His hands immediately groped my buttocks. With enough groping, I get so wet to the point where I can reach orgasm. Sure enough, it was an intense one, to the point where I was grabbing onto his belt around his waist as I came.

My guy likes the fact that I can have multiple orgasms. I am lucky that I have still have that knack.

We headed over to one of the two beds in the room. He gently placed me on the bed with him on top of me. We kissed and he fondled my pussy. Minutes later, I came yet again.

I came one last time. He remarked at how wet I was. We kissed some more.

My guy is boyish in the sense that when he gets hungry, he can't concentrate unless he has food in his system. So, we took a break. I was starting to get dopey, so he did all the work with the food that he had brought.

He had made a cucumber and tomato salad. He also made these mini beef pies and lamb with a tomato-based rice mixture. He heated the latter two dishes in the microwave. He also made tea for us.

We are similar in that we like cooking. We actually used two forks to dig into the beef pies, lamb, and rice. It was sweet and romantic, even though the kitchen had plenty of dishes.

After dinner, we headed back to the bed and cuddled for a bit. He saw the black silicone paddle by my bedside and took it out of the plastic wrapping. He liked it. He playfully lifted my skirt and lightly spanked my pussy.
"I like this paddle," he said, enjoying how it felt in his hand. "I will use it on your bare bottom after my course."
He played with my pussy some more. I was even more excited after his remark about spanking me. I came again. I then rested on the bed to nap. My guy kissed me before he headed to the desk to begin his online course.

The second part of this experience will be in my next blog post. Happy Thanksgiving!
