Cuddler chair

I was leafing through the latest Costco magazine that I got in the mail. I found a cuddler chair.

Currently, the site is down for maintenance. I am curious to know how much it goes for. Both my guy and I enjoy cuddling. It seems like the perfect little cuddler chair for us. It's like a sofa, but circular.

When the site is back up, I'll try and link to it. It's cute.

We'd also have to test it out to see whether it can also be a spanking chair.

Tax time and T4 slips

I had planned on going into the office on Tuesday. I decided to work from home instead.

I wear contact lenses. On Monday, my right contact lens ended up tearing while I was at work. I took it out.

It's a good thing that my nearsightedness is slight. I function just fine without a corrective lens on my right eyeball. It allows my eye to breathe. So, I will work from home and continue having my eyeball breathe and heal.

Tax season is here. In Canada, we get an employment income receipt, which is also known as a T4 slip. At work, I got an e-mail, saying that this slip was available to download from our payroll application.

My guy is oddly not on this e-mail distribution list. He is often left in the dark about such matters. I always remember to forward him this information.
"Hey, sweetie. Your T4 is available if you're dying to do your taxes today," I said to him.
"Thanks, sweet thing. You know me so well. I will probably do my taxes in late April," he admitted.
"I know. It's who you are," I noted.
I am the opposite. In recent years, I tend to complete my tax return in March. In the past, I would end up doing it in mid-April, simply because I was a grad student and my term ended in late April.

I'll need to buy tax software soon. Ah, the joys of doing one's taxes!

Olympics are over, but the Paralympics begin soon

The Olympics are officially over. I am proud of how the Canadian athletes performed.

I am now going through withdrawal symptoms. I am pleased that the Paralympics are next. However, I wish that there was more television exposure.

This weekend, I have been dealing with toe spasms in my right foot. I have foot spasms now and again, thanks to nerve damage from a pinched nerve years ago. It was pretty bad on Saturday. It lasted practically all day and was extremely painful at times.

I have a feeling that it was a combination of feeling cramped at a restaurant on Friday at lunch and a lack of potassium in my system caused this pain. I hydrated a ton of Saturday, ate a banana, popped Ibuprofen, and decided to take it easy. My toes are doing much better today.

I'm thankful and relieved.

Good news to this bad girl

My guy sent me a quick text in the wee hours of yesterday morning. I like when he calls me bad girl.

His business trip next month hasn't be confirmed yet. However, he is teaching a couple of courses at the office in April. It will be great having lunch with him for a couple of weeks.

He also hoped that I had survived the week inhaling Sharky's overuse of cologne. He's funny and sweet.

The weekend is here - time to see Fifty Shades Freed again

The weekend is finally here! I should go and see Fifty Shades Freed for a second time. Why? I'm a huge fan and I simply can.

I got a reminder about seeing the movie again. I snapped this photo while waiting for the traffic light to change.

Enjoy your weekend!

Planning tasks - from a list to a spreadsheet

Last week, I was asked by my manager to put together a high-level project plan. I tend to be pretty good when it comes to providing a list of tasks (milestones) and planning work that needs to be done.

My manager does everything in an Excel spreadsheet. When I am gathering my thoughts, I prefer lists. OneNote is my friend. I do my lists there and use checkboxes indicating whether such tasks are completed or are ongoing.

He seemed fine with my list. It makes porting my tasks over to Excel much easier.

Even though I felt like I hadn't done a ton of work on this project plan, I actually did. He was pleased, which made me happy that I had pulled it off.

It's a good thing that I am a planner by nature. Otherwise, I would have been a nervous wreck having this discussion with him.

Banking change - an update

I am taking a break from watching the Olympics. It's the gold medal game between Canada and the U.S. Let's just say that it's tense!

A few months ago, I got annoyed with the bank that I have been dealing with for over two decades and made the switch to another bank. I thought that I'd provide an update.

Back in late October, I switched to a bank that I already had a chequing account with. I had never used it. I tend to use that bank for savings and my retirement plan. There was a promotion where if your payroll deposit automatically went into your chequing account for three months, this bank would give you $100. Already dissatisfied with my then-current bank, it was easy to make the switch.

Three months later, in January, I did indeed get my $100. Nice! I also like that I don't pay any monthly fees.

The only downside is that paying my bills can take anywhere between a day to a week to clear with my newish bank. So, I end up transferring some money to my old bank and make bill payments there. It's not all that bad.

I used to pay $11 a month with my old bank for unlimited transatction. I have since decided to go with the $4 a month plan. I don't need unlimited transactions. Instead, I am now limited to 12 transactions a month. I am sure that I won't reach this limit.

Just with this minor adjustment, I am saving $84 a year. That's not too shabby. I have also moved most of my automatic bill payments over to my current chequing account.

I have a few more changes to make, as I still have investments with my old bank. So far, it's been a good experience to look at my finances and figure out how to minimize my banking fees.

My guy is so proud of me. He approves. After all, he is my Cheap Bastard.

Steps, payout, and bills

I have mentioned being a part of the health program at work. You take a certain number of steps and you get money every quarter. I track my steps with my Fitbit Alta.

Potentially, in a year, you can rack up $300 if you reach the points goal for each quarter. I am fortunate that I work hard and hit this mark. I max out this payout.

It's great that I win no matter what. I feel good about myself because I exercise. It's a bonus that I get paid to exercise.

I welcome the money. I put it towards bill payments these days. It's not the most glamourous thing to do. However, I do feel good about paying off my debt. It's all about feeling good on so many levels.

Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir win gold in ice skating for a second time!

I am hooked on watching the winter Olympics. I just watched Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir skate to win gold. I am so proud of them! They are the most decorated skaters in Olympic history.

Wow! That's all I can say.

Family Day

It's Family Day in my province today. It's a day to spend with family and friends.

I'll be taking today off to reflect on how fortunate I am to still have my parents. I have supportive friends. I also have a loving boyfriend, my guy.

We both marvel at our relationship and how it continues to grow year after year. We have bumps here and there, but we are stronger than ever.

Enjoy your day!

Being a good girl for sending an e-card on Valentine's Day

As noted a few posts ago, I had sent my guy an e-card on Valentine's Day. He got it and reciprocated.

The fun part about sending this e-card was that Sweetie was my recipient's name. My name was Good girl.

When my guy sent an e-card back, he ended up using the default names. So, I am indeed Good girl.

It's nice that he agrees in the e-card world. He still feels that I am bad, which is why he needs to spank me.

Unwinding with beer, nachos, and manicures

Work has been hectic this week. It became especially stressful for my team on Thursday. Our manager was the cause.

I felt so drained on Friday that my team went out after work for nachos and beer. It was a good time had by all. Our manager had taken the day off, so that helped even more.

One of my colleagues is essentially my mini-me as far as work ethic goes. It's great.

A month ago, she asked me about my nails and how I apply polish on them. I described what I do. She had always thought that I went to a nail salon every week. When I broke the news that I do my own nails, she was impressed.

For the last three weeks, she has followed my lead by doing her own nails. I was so proud of her on Friday. Not only has she continue the same trend of giving herself a manicure, she had painted her nails purple, which happens to be my favourite colour. Her nails looked beautiful.

It's great when a stressful week ends on a positive, uplifting note.

Happy Lunar New Year!

It's the year of the dog, which happens to be the sign that my mom shares.

I don't normally take this day off from work. When I was in elementary school, my mom insisted on pulling me out of school to take in all the festivities. After that, I ended up going to school when this special day landed on a school day.

I am thankful that I made it through another year. Here's hoping for a healthy, happy new year to come!

Valentine's Day and trip news

When my guy and I first started dating, he sent me an e-card to wish me a happy Valentine's Day. It is rare that we are together on this day, as my guy is on the road more often than I am.

We have been together on Valentine's Day once since we have been seeing each other. It wasn't the case this year.

It doesn't matter to us. The whole idea is that if you are in love, every day is time to celebrate.

This year, I sent him an e-card and reminisced about us. He sent me a sweet text, with lots of hugs and kisses.

Next month, I am on vacation for a week. My guy advised that he will be travelling on business. I am hoping that we aren't away at the same time. It would be nice to join him. We'll see how things go and where he is travelling.

He's happy. We have had a travel restriction for a while, so it's nice that it has been lifted for him.

Pancake Tuesday

It has been years since I have had pancakes on Pancake (Shrove) Tuesday. I went out for lunch with three of my colleagues to get pancakes.

I wish I could pinpoint when I was first introduced to this day. I was definitely in elementary school. I had pancakes at school and have since loved all things yummy that need maple syrup on top. I love pancakes, waffles, and French toast to this day.

It was nice taking the time to have a leisurely lunch with colleagues. Tuesday was the first one this year where I did not work from home due to an early morning meeting. It felt good being in the office.

My guy got me a waffle maker a while back. I use it often, which is a nice reminder of how sweet and thoughtful he is.

Mardi Gras and my boobs

My guy and I had a chat about Mardi Gras.
"You've been to New Orleans, right?" he asked me.
"Yes, over three years ago. It was a lot of fun," I replied.
"But, you weren't there for Mardi Gras," he pointed out.
"Nope, I wasn't. We should go," I hinted.
"It's Mardi Gras all the time when I'm with you. I get to play and look at your boobs all the time," he smirked.
He does like my breasts. He always has. He love cupping, sucking, playing, groping, and more when it comes to my boobs.

He finds them to be perfect. They aren't small. They aren't huge. They are perfect to him and to me.

Fifty Shades Freed - letting me drive the car

I have hinted that there are some scenes in Fifty Shades Freed that remind me of conversations that I have had with my guy or scenes that we have actually played out together.

It's not all sex, of course.

Ana asks Christian if she can drive his car. He firmly says no every time that she asks him. I have had the same experience with my guy when it came to driving his manual car.

Later on in the movie, Christian lets Ana drive his car. Although my guy had sold his manual car before I could drive it, he did let me drive his current car. It was an early birthday present to me. It was a huge moment for both of us and a wonderful gift from him.

Perseverance does pay off.

Fifty Shades Freed - I saw it!

I saw Fifty Shades Freed on Saturday afternoon. We got some snow in the greater Toronto area, but it wasn't severe enough for me to stay away from the movie theatre.

I had enough points to watch the movie for free. I got there too early. However, I managed to grab lunch, so it was nice to eat quietly for a bit before folks came in.

It's bittersweet that the trilogy is over. I am looking forward to watching it a couple more times in the theatre before I get it on DVD.

The movie was good. It was nice to see Christian and Ana marries. Ana is the wiser of the two, with Christian working through his issues with her.

This final movie was a thank-you to fans. I wished that the movie were longer. It felt rushed. It did have a plot!

I will try not to spoil it, but I liked when Christian was crying and Ana held him. It was a poignant moment.

There wasn't as much spanking as in the two other flicks. There was just one lovetap after Christian applied sunscreen on Ana's back.

Christian did some things that my guy does to me, which I love. There was nipple-sucking, fingering, sex in the car, oral sex and intercourse, and lots of kissing.

And, no, I didn't finger myself while watching the movie. It's that time of the month for me, after all.

As always, there are parts of the movie that I'd like to watch again. I'm a happy fan!

Watching Fifty Shades Freed and playing with each other

My guy knows how much of a fan I am of the Fifty Shades movie series. He knows that I can't wait to see the third and final flick.
"Are you going to play with yourself when you watch it?" he teased.
"If you were sitting next to me, I'd like you to play with me," I replied.
"If that's the case, we'd have to sit at the back of the theatre. I'd love to do that," he replied.
"I'd enjoy giving you a handjob in the dark, too," I said.
"You're such a bad girl. I can't wait to spank you hard," he insisted.
I would have to had watched the movie at least once before we give this scenario a try!

Klutzy start of 2018 - completed trifecta

I don't know whether there is something in the air or if the additional snow this winter has made me more klutzy than usual. Things happen in threes. I can attest to this odd energy.

A couple of weeks ago, I left my home to head into my car to drive to work. There was black ice. I didn't see it and wiped out. Luckily, nothing happened other than being a bit sore for a couple of days.

Last week, I had a full mug of tea. I had a lid covering my double-walled mug. I accidentally elbowed it in a meeting room at work. My mug went tumbling onto the carpeted floor. I got some paper towel to clean up the spill on the boardroom table and a chair.

Today was the final piece of this trifecta. I went to a seller's home to pick up a paper shredder. I parked in his driveway and went up the stairs to ring the doorbell.

What I didn't know was that underneath the unshovelled snow in front of his door was marble. I lost my balance and fell on my right knee.

First, I would recommend getting a mat if you have a slippery surface like marble that is outside. Second, I'd suggest shovelling the snow so that folks don't slip and fall. Third, if you have a home, having a stair railing to get up and down the stairs comes in handy.

So, I have a couple of bruises on my right knee. It's a bit sore to walk, but I'm okay. I am icing my knee to reduce the swelling. I am also elevating my leg.

The other injury is a sore middle finger on my left hand. It's a bit sore typing right now. I am perfectly fine flipping the bird. Making a fist can still be done, but it is a bit sore.

What an odd day! The good news is that I was fine picking up my paper shredder, which works fine. I also got some dinner afterwards, which made things a ton better.

I'm working from home on Friday. It's supposed to snow and I don't want to drive with my sore knee. I will simply take it easy.

Role reversal - Fifty Shades of Corden with Jamie Dornan

Being a huge fan of the Fifty Shades set of movies, this parody cracked me up:

I have no idea how they were both able to keep it together. I would have been laughing and annoying everyone on set. This video is hilarious. Such a gem!

Fifty Shades Freed - outtake of fun dance moves

I can't wait to see Fifty Shades Freed. It's out on Friday. I was originally planning to see it on Saturday, but three separate snowstorms are expected to happen (today, Friday, and Saturday). Ugh!

Although the quality of this clip isn't the best, it's a dance outtake of Jamie Dornan (Christian Grey).

It cracks me up!

Highways, tolls, conference calls, and sleep

I have been using highway 407, which is a toll highway, for over seven years. I am perfectly fine shelling out a bit more to save some time to get to work.

When I first started my current job, I took highway 401. It was a top-and-go commute to and from work. Somedays, it would take me two hours to get home. These days were clear and free of snow.

Traffic in the greater Toronto area is horrific. The infrastructure cannot support the volume of cars on the road.

Taking a toll highway saves my brakes and makes me less fatigued. These days, I take the 407 to work. Coming home, I take a backroad, which is still faster than taking the 401.

Highway 407 rarely has accidents. An accident on Monday morning impacted my drive to work. It was the third accident that I have ever seen on it. It didn't look like anyone was hurt, thankfully.

I was late to work by about twenty minutes. I was also on two consecutive conference calls that I take through my Bluetooth car speaker while I was stuck in traffic.

I am fortunate to be able to work from home at least once a week. It helps a ton.

I get to sleep in a bit today. Yep, I have yet another conference call to take. Ah, what fun!

Fifty Shades Freed - car sex

A couple of posts ago, I was intrigued by what the Fifty Shades Freed car sex scene would look like. I saw a glimpse of it on Instagram:

A post shared by Fifty Shades Freed❤ (@my.fifty.edits) on

Needless to say, I like the snippet. It's reminiscent of what my guy and I end up doing during treehouse time, except that our pace is slower (we aren't doing a movie, after all!).

Here's hoping that there are some spanking scenes in this movie, too.

Minimalism - cleaning and making our lives less cluttered

I spent an hour last night cleaning. A couple of evenings ago, I bought a used storage drawer. It does match the storage drawers that I already have.

I am in a minimalistic state of mind these days. It started with my finances. I decided to cancel a couple of credit cards after I had paid them off. I then went crazy and shredded bills and statements that I have amassed over the years.

Normally, I go with an e-copy of my statements. I don't know why I still get quite a number of paper statements in the mail. I wish that all companies go paperless.

On a good note, my shredder that I have had for probably a good decade still works well. It's therapeutic shredding statements and old credit cards. However, the bin is rather small and I need to empty it frequently!

I'll probably look at my wardrobe soon and go through another wave of donations. I don't need to buy any clothes. I am content with what I have, but I am sure that there are articles of clothing that I don't wear. They might was well go to folks who would like to have and make use of them.

My guy is in a similar frame of mind. He has been cleaning his home office these days.

It's neat how we are both on the same wavelength.

Countdown to Fifty Shades Freed

Less than a week from now, the Fifty Shades Freed movie is out. I have seen the first two movies, so it makes sense that I go see the third one.

Yep, my guilty pleasure is watching the Fifty Shades movie trilogy. I have heard that the sex scene in the car is good, among other scenes. Considering that my guy and I often have treehouse time, I am curious about how similar the scene is with what we do, or if it sparks something new for my guy and I to try.

I can't wait!

Hard cock likes poking around at my thigh

I sometimes forget how excited my guy is when he sees me. It's flattering.

The other day, my guy had taken off his jeans. He simply had a t-shirt and boxer briefs on. I was wearing a pair of shorts and a three-quarter-sleeved shirt.

We hugged standing up. My guy's hard member was poking at my bare thigh.
"I like how your hard cock is looking for an opening, but it's all thigh," I said.
"You always make me hard," he replied, sweetly.
I held his erect penis in my hand and guided its head over to my crotch. My guy liked that I was rubbing it against me.

There's a first for everything.

Nuking a potato that starts a fire sparks a fun chat while cuddling

Last week at the office, I got up to refill my mug of tea with hot water in the lunchroom. It smelled like something was burning.

I chatted with a colleague, who agreed that something was burning. She went to contact someone. She came back and let me know that someone was attempting to bake a potato in the microwave. The potato was being nuked for ten minutes. The paper towel on which the potato rested had caught on fire.

I have never nuked a potato in the microwave before. Perhaps placing it on a microwaveable dish would have been more appropriate. I don't know whether the potato was pierced. It should have been.

My guy and I have fun conversations after being intimate. We were cuddling when I told him about this store.
"The sad thing is that the fire wasn't big enough to burn the whole building down," I said.
"You really hate going to work, don't you?" he said, smiling.
"What tipped you off?" I asked, teasing him.
"Oh, I don't know. Maybe the burning down part," he grinned.
"Maybe," I said.
We both laughed. We continued to cuddle and chat.
