Antigen and PCR COVID-19 tests

I am a researcher. I have been researching COVID-19 tests in my area and in Minnesota.

Here's the weird thing. To get over the border and enter the US, Canadians need an antigen test. A test starts at $40, which isn't horrible.

When coming back to Canada, an antigen test is not accepted. Instead, a PCR test is required. The cheapest price that I have seen to get this test done is $199 USD at MSP airport, which is where I'm flying in and out of.

It's not cheap. I am glad that I am staying for over a week at the end of this month to take in two hockey games. Before this pandemic, I would have made two separate trips. If I did the same thing now, just these two PCR tests would cost me the price of a round-trip flight to the Twin Cities. Yikes!

I am hoping that, down the road, PCR tests won't be required. Either Canada will accept an antigen test or possibly drop the test for those who are fully vaccinated.

Longer weekend and starting it off by falling asleep

I'm checked in to a hotel room by work, which is close to the airport. I am flying out in the early afternoon.

I am looking forward to this longer weekend, although it will feel short.

I was so tired this evening that I crashed just before 9 pm. I woke up before midnight to shower. I'm now wide awake.

Here's hoping that I turn in within in the next hour or so. Enjoy your weekend, everyone!

Being kind at the luggage carousel

Roughly a couple of weeks ago, I flew into Minneapolis airport. I was waiting for my lone piece of luggage at the baggage carousel.

A few feet away from me was an older woman. She saw a red suitcase, and tried to flip it or look at it. It was getting away from her. The luggage was heading in my direction.
"Is that yours?" I asked her.
"I thought it was, but it doesn't have a tag like mine does," she replied.
Moments later, another red suitcase had arrived in front of this woman. She checked and it got away from her.
"How about that one?" I asked her.
"That one is mine," she said. "I'll wait for it."
"I've got it," I said.
I pulled it off the carousel.
"Thank you so much. Bless you," she said.
"You're welcome. It was good timing. Here comes my luggage," I said.
I got my luggage. I wished her a good day. She reciprocated.

It's good to be kind. It's also nice to help others and brighten their day.

Back home with a luggage search at border security

I got back on Monday night. I was too exhausted to post anything.

My arrival at the airport was odd. First, I was asked to go to a customs/border security line after declaring that I had only brought back $90 worth of goods. The customs woman was pleasant, going through my luggage and rolling computer bag. I had nothing to hide. All went well.

My guess is that it was the long Thanksgiving weekend. Perhaps it seemed odd that I wouldn't splurge while in the States. I truly didn't go to shop. I was there for a hockey game.

Within the last year, I have been asked to go over to this special lineup twice. I'm not sure what makes folks think that I need additional questioning. I just know that I am honest and everything checks out fine. Perhaps I should have a flag in my record that I'm good!

There's more to this story regarding getting a taxi. I'll save that for another post.

Thanksgiving long weekend and voting

Tonight, I am staying at a hotel closer to the airport. It's fun. It also saves me time in the morning getting to the airport. I don't need to do an hour-long commute.

I voted at the advance poll on Friday after work. I won't be able to vote on a Saturday like I typically do. I also don't like voting on voting day. It takes me forever to get back home and it is whenever everyone is scrambling to make their voice heard. I'd rather do it early.

I like voting. I have a say. It makes me feel good after the fact.

This weekend is the Thanksgiving long weekend in Canada. Yes, I'm heading stateside, but it's worth it.

Colleague, friend, and more

I have a colleague at work whom I interviewed, trained, and ended up befriending. She has recently been promoted to a team lead. I am also a team lead. There isn't exactly a cash incentive for this title. It's just a title given to us by our manager.

Anyway, she has never been a team lead and asked if I could give her pointers. She told me that she likes my work ethic and thinks that I'm the best one to help her out. She is sweet.

She is currently on vacation in the United States. I asked the other day whether she needed a drive to the airport. She did. She thanked me for offering, both when we spoke and while I drove her to the airport.

Just before we left work on Friday to head to the airport, she asked me whether I could keep her jewellery safe for her. She lives with a roommate and doesn't have a safe. She felt a bit awkward asking me, but I am comfortable keeping everything safe for her. I promised not to pawn anything!

It's nice that we trust each other. Our friendship is fairly new. She is like the sibling that I never had.

Rolling out of bed

The night before flying out to Dallas, I checked myself into a hotel by my workplace. I needed to get to the airport early. I used my points, so it was a free stay.

I had set my alarm for 05:30. I had a room with two queen beds. It was a cozy room.

At said time, I woke up. What I didn't realize was that I was sleeping on the edge of the bed and my comforter was three-quarters draped over the left side of the bed. It's a clear indication that I was tired and the room was likely warmer than I was used to.

I went to stop the alarm going off on my phone. For the first time in my life, I rolled out of bed and onto the floor. The comforter was on the floor, which meant that I had a soft landing.

Of course, being barely awake, it took me some time to figure out that I was between two beds. I had to think about how to get up all twisted around a comforter.

I told my guy this story when we were sitting on the couch in our room in Dallass. We both laughed.
"Did you make a thump?" he asked.
"I thought that I would, but I landed on the comforter. It was a quiet landing. I never thought in my life that I'd literally roll out of bed in my life," I said.
There's a first for everything.

Landing, sucking, and cuddling on our first day

I'm backtracking for a bit. When I first arrived at the hotel, my guy was about ten minutes away. As I was taking all my stuff out of my rental car, he pulled over and waved at me. We talked. I was heading towards the hotel lobby.

He came over moments later to take me to his hotel room. When we got there, we hugged, kissed, and I briefly unpacked after he helped put my suitcase in a spot.

We went out for dinner at a local place. We came back and did a few things, like exercise and shower, before we got into bed.

My guy was horny. I got to play with his erect member. He pulled it out of his boxer briefs and pajama bottoms. I started to hold his hard cock in my hand, but ended up putting it in my mouth instead. I can't remember when I last sucked my guy. He loved it. I did, too.

He came. I ended up pulling out and jerking him off a few seconds beforehand. It was nice making him ejaculate. We cleaned up and then cuddled for the rest of the night.

It's nice to spend time with him.

Handjob while driving - repeat in future

My guy reminisced about my giving him a handjob while driving him to the airport.
"I enjoyed it so much. Can we do it again?" he asked me.
"We can when road conditions are good and you're back," I replied.
"I love when you make me so dopey," he admitted.
"I love it, too," I replied.
He's my sweet horny guy.

Chatting about food while driving home

It's a good thing that my guy and I didn't make plans after he got off the plane on Saturday. It sounds odd, but it'll make sense when I describe the whole ordeal.

His flight was delayed by half an hour. Ten other flights had arrived when his did. There was a huge lineup to do the customs declaration and even a longer time talking to a border official.

He called me at nearly 17:00. He should have been home by that time, but he had just picked up his car. We were both driving home, in the same direction, but our starting points were off by about 200 km.

Instead, we talked about food.
"I really love the powdered low-carb peanut butter that you got me. I love it. I took it with me on this trip," he said.
"I'm glad," I replied.
"I also got a beef shawarma wrap at the restaurant that we were at last weekend. It's so authentic and tasty," he said.
"I'm happy that you love the food there. It's my favourite shawarma place," I noted. "I can't find a decent one close to home."
"You may want to try Scarborough. There are a bunch of Middle Eastern places," he suggested.
"That makes sense. I'll check it out sometime," I replied.
We chatted for just under an hour, which was enough time for both of us to arrive home safely.

Being helpful and hinting a spanking

On Saturday, I drove my guy to the airport. It's nice when we hold hands and chat as we headed over there.

I parked by the curbside at the arrivals level.
"I'm going to get a cart. Don't touch any of my luggage," he said to me.
"I'll try not to. It's tough," I replied, which made him smile.
Sure enough, I couldn't resist but to take his computer rolling bag out of my car's trunk. I left his larger piece of luggage alone.

He came over with his cart and looked at me with a playful disappointed look on his face.
"You seem to have a problem within insisting on lifting my stuff out of the car," he said, putting his luggage on the cart.
"It was the smaller item. I was just being helpful," I said.
"I need to do something to you when I get back," he hinted.
"But, I'm your good girl," I replied.
"I need to punish you," he said, hugging me.
"We'll see. I haven't been spanked in a while," I noted.
"We'll change that," he said.
I went to kiss him. He leaned in and we locked lips. I love when we kiss. It's wonderful.

Crazy travel plans and a lovetap for being bad

Geez, it has been a while. I will post about all the craziness that happened last week in a bit. I'm exhausted.

I made it to my European destination today on a couple of hours of sleep. It was painful transferring from one method of transportation to the next. I'll explain what actually happened versus what was supposed to happen in a future post.

On a good note, I took my guy to the airport on Friday. I helped roll a couple of his luggage pieces from his side of his car (he had taken them all out of his trunk) over to my car at work.
"Don't touch anything!" he said to me, looking at my rolling his computer bag over.
"You don't let me touch anything," I protested, caressing his perfectly uniform head.
"You can touch my head. Just don't do any heavy lifting," he said, passing by me and smacking my left buttock.
"That hurt! You're mean!" I replied.
It was fun. He loves when I caress his cleanly shaved head. I like getting a lovetap for being his bad girl.

Purple massage gifts from my guy

Before I drove my guy to the airport, he had a plastic bag in his hand.
"I got you some goodies. These are for you," he said.
"Thanks! What's the occasion?" I asked him.
"They were purple. I just wanted to get them for you," he said.
As of late, I have noticed a theme. For my birthday, he got me a cool massager for my neck, back, and more.

The two purple items are also massage-related. One was a finger massager, which is wonderful. The other one was a manual roller massager for your calves, thighs, and whatever else.

My guy knows that I like to unwind. He also wants to make sure that I am relaxed. He knows that purple is my favourite colour. He's thoughtful, as usual. He is also a good gift giver.

Driving and a handjob

Last Saturday, I wanted to drive my guy to the airport. We got in my car and I started to pull out of the parking lot at work.

We held hands. He guided his hand to his crotch.
"You're hard," I remarked.
"I am," he admitted.
After caressing his hard member, he couldn't stand it any longer. He released his erect penis for me to touch.

Here is a first. I was driving and playing with his stick shift. I don't recommend it if you can't drive with one hand. However, my doing manual car lessons in the past have helped here.

He was enjoying it. We did have a bit of an obstacle along the way.
"There's a bus. We can't have passengers see your hard cock. We'll need to put your penis away," I pointed out.
"Okay," he said, highly aroused.
I was stopped at the light. The bus was a couple of lanes to my right. We were at the stop line together. I looked down and over. My guy had clasped his hands together, with his member's head sticking out, but camouflaged nicely.
"It looks like you have an extra big thumb," I said, impressed.
"Yes," he said.
I turned left. I continued driving and jerking him off.
"You like when I jerk you off any time that you want me to, right?" I asked him.
"Yes, I do," he said.
"You'd like to f*ck me anywhere. You know that I like when you do," I said.
My guy came pretty fast. It was impressive. I pointed to my car's glove compartment. He got some napkins and we both cleaned up. All these events happened before we got to the departures level of the airport.

He was dopey. I could tell that he enjoyed this moment. I liked it, too. I did it all safely, without even looking at his cock while jerking him off. It was fun and different, but I can't see doing it all the time.

Travelling and having a late lunch date beforehand

My guy is travelling to Turkey for business again. This time, it's only for a week.
"Did you want to meet for a late lunch before you fly off on Saturday?" I asked him.
"Sure. I can get there by 4 pm," he replied.
"Maybe we should meet at 3 pm. That way, you're there on time at 4 pm," I teased.
"I'm better at being punctual these days," he claimed.
"We'll see. I can take you to the airport," I noted.
"Thanks, sweetie," he said.
It's nice to have a late lunch date before dropping him off at the airport.

Calling to be reassured that things will be okay

After dropping off my guy at the airport, I headed home. My guy called me.
"Hey," I answered.
"Hey," he said. "I'm still at the check-in counter and the lineup is all the way to the gate."
"That's not good. Are you at the check-in counter to get your boarding pass or the baggage drop-off area?" I asked.
"I'm waiting to drop my luggage off," he said. "The wait is ridiculous."
"It's okay. You still have 45 minutes. You'll make it," I reassured him.
"I hope so," he said.
"I know that you will," I said.
"Are you still on the road?" he asked me.
"Yes. I decided not to do highway 401. It's pretty bad. I'm going to backroad it home," I explained.
"That sounds like a plan. You drive safely, okay?" he said.
"I will. Safe travels and I'll talk to you soon," I said back.
I like when we calls me to get some reassurance that everything will be okay. It's nice to hear from him just before he flies off.

Lifting heavy items and being dealt with later

I drove my guy to the airport on Saturday. I typically park briefly at the terminal, we get out of the car with my guy's stuff, we kiss and hug, and he is off to check in.

It was a bit different this time. I parked at an angle because the woman in front would not pull up. Oh, well.

My guy went to get a cart. He had his luggage, computer bag, and a box full of training manuals.

He always insists that I don't injure my back by leaving his stuff alone. However, it was pretty easy to get the first two items from my backseat. I had to leave the box in my car's trunk.

He came back with the cart and looked at me.
"How many times I have told you to look cute and not lift a finger?" he said, playfully disapproving of my efforts.
"I'm goody girl," I replied.
"No, you're baddy girl. I need to deal with you when I return," he said.
I like when he threatens to punish me.

We embraced and kissed. I wished him a safe flight. He said to drive safely home. We then headed our separate ways.

Trying to get the keys to his car while he is away

It was time to leave the treehouse, get into my car, and drive my guy to the airport. Luckily, I had sobered up. He was getting out of dopey mode.
"You can give me your keys and I will take care of your car while you are away," I said.
"That's okay," he said, sobering up himself.
"That's so mean. I made you happy and am driving you to the airport. I get rewarded without driving your car?" I teased.
I held his hand. He liked that better and squeezed mine.

Flight home with sweets - penises?

I'm back from my staycation. It was wonderful.

My guy called me on Friday from the airport while I was checking in to our hotel room. He has impeccable timing.

I finally got checked in and we chatted for a bit.
"I bought you sweets," he cheerfully said.
"Yay! Are they the ones that looks like penises?" I asked.
"Nope, they are different," he said.
"You're sweet for getting me sweets, sweetie," I said.
The sweets that look like penises are Egyptian delights. They have the same outer lining as Turkish delight, except that they have walnuts in them and are cylindrical. Each one is rolled in powered sugar. I affectionately call them penises.

The funny thing is that he knew what I had meant.

Orgasm at the office

Before my guy had to leave the office and head to the airport, we hugged in our intimate meeting room. It felt good being in his arms, as always. We kissed, which made me melt.

My guy caressed my breasts.
"Hard nipples," he said, touching and observing.
"Look who I'm in the room with," I said.
"I can say the same about you," he replied.
"That's my butt," I remarked, as he helped himself to groping my right buttock.
"Do you want to cum?" he asked rhetorically.
His hand moved to my crotch. I was horny. Moments later, tightly hugging him, I came.
"Thank you. You're sweet," I said, giving him a kiss.
"I always want to make you feel good, as you deserve it," he said, kissing my forehead.
A minute later, we walked out of the meeting room to the elevators. I wished him a safe flight. He headed downstairs to his car. I headed upstairs to try and work.
