Working on a sick day and enjoying it

On Tuesday, I took a sick day. The weird thing was that I did work. Quietly. No distractions. It was nice.

I liked not having my instant messaging app showing that I'm available. I liked not having folks asking me questions throughout the day.

I have a task where I need to rename a number of properties in our documentation. It was great going through a good chunk of the work. It was also nice to not answer e-mails.

Luckily, I am working from home today. Sadly, I have a couple of conference calls to participate in. At least I sound less congested and my cold is on its way out.

I do wish that I worked with a more competent colleague. I may just call her the idiot going forward. I couldn't have chosen a more accurate nickname for her.

M is for solving for m #AtoZchallenge

My guy has been teaching a course on weekends for a few years. I have listened in on a session here and there. Sometimes, the course is delivered online. Other times, it's in a classroom setting.

This semester, it's the latter. I once called the course Solving for m. My guy was discussing an equation and showing how to solve for m, the variable in question. Since then, we both call this course by this nickname.

On Saturday, my guy and I had this conversation.
"I wish that I could solve for m with you," he said, looking at me longingly.
"I know. You have to go to work soon," I noted.
"I want to solve for various slopes with you, in various positions," he said sheepishly.
"Ah, derivatives, I see," I remarked, with both of us laughing.
"Yes, I would be in a master bedroom with you for hours, solving for m."
We are a geeky couple. Math innuendos make us laugh.

He is sweet. He didn't want to leave that day. I didn't want him to leave, either.
"I would solve for m with you all day, if I could. I want to give you everything," he said lovingly.
"How about a million dollars?" I asked, jokingly.
"Um, no," he replied, smiling.
"Yes, that's not realistic. Both our incomes combined do not register on the million dollar scale. I'm good with having you," I remarked.
It's true. Money doesn't buy being with someone you love and vice-versa.

Funny, clever, and bad -- that's me!

My guy is nearing the end of his business trip. He flies back home from Mexico on Saturday. I get to see him in less that a week's time. He is away for a few days to recuperate, which makes perfect sense after having been on the road for a month.

We have fun conversations.
"I admitted that your being the CBO (Cheap Bastard Officer) of your CB club was both clever and funny," I replied.
"Okay, so you can admit that some things that I say are clever and funny," he said, in an approving tone.
"Yes. I can also admit that I am a good girl," I replied, teasing him.
"Ah, no. You are far from that," he insisted.
"Sure, I am. My nickname is good girl," I replied.
"No, your nickname is bad girl. It will always be bad girl," he stated.
"I'm not a bad girl. My butt isn't sore. I haven't been spanked for a while, so I must be good," I reasoned.
"You're lucky. I have been absent. Otherwise, I would spank you like there were no tomorrow," he insisted.
He's sweet. He knows how to make a girl smile.

Extra goodies and cuddles

My guy often tells me that he is horrible at giving gifts. To me, he does a fine job. He's too hard on himself.

On Saturday, when he gave me a number of fine gifts from his travels, he didn't tell me that he also decided to get me rum-flavoured chocolates. He knows that I enjoy chocolate. I love rum. So, put them together, and I love them even more!

I especially liked receiving the Shaun the Sheep plush toy. He is next to my pillow on my bed. My guy was right -- that this plush toy is great for cuddling. It's a nice reminder of my guy, as he often wears wool sweaters and I call him Woolly from time to time.

Meeting my new car and teasing my guy to let me drive his

My guy finally got to look at and sit in my car. He loves my car, which is high praise from a car enthusiast.

Last Tuesday, I offered to drive us to our regular Chinese restaurant, so he could take a look at my car. He normally insists on doing the driving, but he was good with this exception.

He loved the look my car. The electric blue colour is attractive. He has nicknamed my car Bluie, because of its colour. And, like me, he loves the tire rims.

He likes how my car drives. He even likes the manual mode. Sure, it lacks a clutch, but it's such a fun car to drive.

We got to our usual restaurant and ordered our usual dishes. What was unusual was that our meals took what seemed to be forever to get to us. We were both hungry.

When we were fed and content, we headed back to my car.
"We should drive each other's car. You can drive my brand new car and I can drive your manual car," I teased him with my suggestion.
"Um, no. I am okay driving my car and being a passenger in yours," he said. I smiled at him.
"You should give me the keys to your car just before you leave on your next trip. I will ensure that your car is okay."
Silence. It's fun teasing him.
"The seat hugs me," he remarked.
"Well, with a cute butt like yours, the seat has no choice," I said.
We both smiled as I drove us back to the office.

Skype and a spanking to come

My guy and I caught each other briefly on Skype:
"I need to turn in soon. It's 00:40," my guy stated.
"I know. You are my sleepyhead," I replied.
"You are my sugar lips," he told me.
"I like that. I'm SL."
"Yes, you are," he reinforced.
"Or, we can call you sugar naughty lips," he hinted.
"Or, just good girl," I teased.
"But, good girl will never work," he stated rather firmly.
"But, I'm a good girl!" I exclaimed.
"No, you're not. Good girls don't have sore butts," he said adamantly.
"I know. That's why I don't have a sore butt," I said defiantly.
"It'll be sore and red... very red," he threatened.
"I love when you're Mr. Meanie," I replied.
"That's my job," he said confidently. "I can't wait to see you and kiss you."
"Likewise. I miss you lots and your sweet lips."
A few more days to go before I get a hard spanking. Yay!

Nicknames and an upcoming spanking

My guy and I had a good Skype chat on Friday. It happened towards the end of my workday.

I tend to give my guy a number of nicknames. We talked about that fact.
"You have given me lots of nicknames. I need to give you some," my guy remarked.
"True. You call me sweetness, which I like," I pointed out.
"That's more a term of affection. I need to think of a good nickname for you," he pondered.
"How about good girl?" I asked.
"You are never a good girl," he replied.
"Yes, I am," I stated factually.
"No, you aren't. Why do I have to spank you all the time? It's because you're a bad girl," he reasoned.
"That's not true. You could call me geeky girl," I suggested.
"Yes, that's a good nickname for you. It's perfect," he agreed.
"You can also call me good geeky girl," I replied, teasing him.
"You are never good!"
He told me that when he sees me again that I will be harshly spanked. Yay!

Missing each other and thinking of a penis car antenna

My guy misses me a lot these days. When he does, he is exceptionally sweet.
"I miss you so much. I miss cuddling with, kissing, and hugging you," he told me.
"I miss all of that with you, too," I replied.
"I also miss when you're being naughty while you play with me," he admitted.
I also miss our intimate quality time together, including being spanked.

My guy got to hear me drive my new car as I drove to my dentist appointment and chatted with him hands-free. He finds that my car is quiet.
"We have to name your car," he stated factually.
"Okay. How about electric blue?" I suggested.
"How about bluie?" he asked me.
"I like it. Bluie, it is."
We also joked about having cars with private parts graphically displayed on the car's body.
"We can put a vagina on the car's hood," my guy said.
"Sure, that will go well, especially when kids see it," I said, as we both laughed.
"Yes, that could pose a problem," my guy admitted.
"So would the car's antenna being an erect penis. It gives new meaning to the car is coming -- literally."
He laughed hard. I like when we crack each other up.

N is for no and nicknames

I got to spend a bit of time on Friday with my guy. It was a hectic day, for it was our major software release deadline.

My manager had a bunch of last-minute changes to do. My guy had a flight to catch and had to leave the office by 16:00. I was supposed to attend a team lunch to celebrate this software release being over. I would have rather had had lunch with my guy.

The day before, my guy told me to write him an e-mail if my lunch plans had changed. Sure enough, they did. I wrote to him, but he was offline.

I had colleagues who wanted to have lunch with me. It was nice of them to ask. Part of me wanted to go, but I was waiting for my guy to respond, so I took the chance and declined their offer.

Sure enough, just before 13:00, my guy called. He said that he would get his car and pick me up.

It was nice seeing him. He rarely wears jeans to the office and he always looks good in them. He wears them when he travels. He drove us to the restaurant. I got to caress his head once we were stopped at a set of lights.

We had a good lunch. We got to talk about how our day was going. My guy liked my blouse that I was wearing. The collar had a bit of elasticity. My guy liked that he could take a peek and count the number of boobs that I have. I asked whether he thought that I had a uniboob, which made him laugh. He approved of my blouse.

After we were done, we sat around and talked. I had my hands on my lap. They were stretched out. My guy decided to slouch a bit and his knees touched my hands. I ended up rubbing the tops of his knees. We both liked that. I told him that am a touchy-feely girl. He nodded.

After lunch, he drove us back to the office. Traffic was bad due to construction. My guy looked at my legs and loved the cropped jeans that I had on. He told me that I was so cute and pretty. In traffic, he gave me a blue crystal bracelet. His gift completely took me by surprise.

We got to the office and he accompanied me to my floor. It was sweet of him. He told me that he'd call to let me know when we could move his bags from his car over to mine.

It was 16:00 when he called. I went downstairs. He was at his car, parked next to mine, looking at its open trunk. He had a box of manuals that he had to bring to India. He asked me whether he should open the box and put the manuals in his suitcase, or just haul the box to the airport and check it in. I said to do the former. Sure enough, the manuals fit in nicely.

My guy had protein shakes and cans of salmon with him. East Indian food does not agree with his stomach, so he decided to bring friendly foods with him. I helped him move them into the suitcase with the manuals, as there was plenty of room left for them.

My guy had to go back to the training room to get his laptop.
"Promise me that you will not touch anything," he stated. He is protective of my back.
"Is that a threat?" I asked him.
"No, it's a warning," he replied, knowing me too well to want to help him out.
He took longer than he had anticipated to return to his car. He did move all three of his bags into the trunk of my car. They all fit, which was comforting.

I drove us across the street to the airport. We held hands. We joked and laughed.
"What airline are you flying on?" I asked him.
"It is Ethihad, operated by Jet Airways," he replied.
This airline does not roll off my tongue. I couldn't recall the name moments later.
"What was the airline again? Itchy witchy?" I asked, trying to look for the proper entrance to stop at.
"It's Ethihad," he said, laughing. "Bad, Cutiebootie! Bad!"
"I hope that you are okay flying without any elitist (business class) perks. You won't get any free cheese like you normally take for granted," I teased him.
"You sound like a bitchy mouse," he teased.
I suppose that my new nickname is bitchy mouse, which is funny. It doesn't describe my personality at all! I kind of like it.

In the car, I got to caress his head and we said goodbye. I asked him if I could kiss him. He said yes, so we did. He spent a good minute rubbing my thigh with his hand.
"I love your thighs. I can't wait to see you in a short skirt soon," he said to me.
"We need treehouse time when you're back," I replied.
"Yes, we'll arrange for something," he said, with both of us smiling at each other.
We got out of the car. My guy got his stuff out of the trunk and even helped me move my rolling bag into it. We embraced for a decent period. He assured me that he'd call me one he was in India.

I am glad that I got to drop him off at the airport and that we had lunch. Seeing him makes stressful workdays melt away.

C is for Cheap Bastard

I love Cookie Monster. I love how he devours cookies. He has beautiful, round eyes. He's blue. And, he always refers to himself as me.

I digress. Today's challenge isn't about my favourite Sesame Street character. It's something different. Today, C stands for Cheap Bastard. Why all this capitalization? I affectionately call my guy this nickname.

What? That doesn't sound endearing, you say to yourself. We laugh about it all the time. It is to the point where he now refers to himself in the third person.

It happened several months ago when my guy and I were talking on Skype. My guy was in San Francisco on business.

We tend to tease each other to no end. We both like to shop. My guy does a lot of research when it comes to getting deals on various items. When he finally buys an item at a terrific price, it is almost as if he is on some purchasing high. He is one happy guy for days.

Often, folks misinterpret my guy as being cheap when they hear about all the effort and analysis that he goes through to get such deals. I don't believe that he is cheap at all. He is frugal, but he does shop a lot. He likes refreshing his wardrobe. He buys a decent pair of glasses every two years. He showers me with gifts, even though he knows that he doesn't have to. He simply wants to.

Well, you can read up on the entire story, but my guy has often given me various goodies that he has brought from his hotel stays while on business. I get nice lip balms and hand creams, and I use them!

For some reason, he always feels that I don't appreciate these gifts -- that he is simply getting rid of his junk so that his computer bag will be lighter. Well, I called him a cheap bastard that day to see what he would say. As expected, he playfully threatened to spank me upon his return home.

Since then, we use Cheap Bastard often. When we are role-playing, I will use that term while over his knee. He will pull down my panties and spank me hard, asking me to take it back. I refuse, and will try and squirm, often using a free hand to cover my bottom, but he ends up moving my hand behind my back, restraining it, and spanking me some more until he feels that my punishment is sufficient. It's nice.

The other day, I told him that I had purchased a used exercise glider through Kijiji. He was so proud of me. He told me that I was following in his footsteps by getting a practically new glider "the Cheap Bastard way."

My guy is still in Croatia. He flies back home on Wednesday. I can't wait to see and be with him again.

We talked on Skype yesterday. We were chatting about cell phone screen protectors. My guy refuses to get a $25 screen protector for his cell phone. He flat out told me, "I would never get such an expensive screen protector. After all, I am Cheap Bastard."

It's sweet that he likes his nickname. We laugh all the time when we use it, whether I am paying for it in a spanking or when we're just chatting. Perhaps I should make him a cape with CB on it.

Creatures of habit, cuddling away

I saw this picture on Facebook a week or two ago. It's sweet.

Over a week ago, my guy and I were having lunch. He tends to ask me, "What else?" when he is interested in hearing me chat away about various things. He is chatty, but he genuinely likes hearing what I have to say. So, I showed him this picture on my phone.
"It reminded me of us," I said. "I tend to rest my head against and my hand on your chest. I love cuddling up to you."
"You look much cuter, though," he said, analyzing the picture on my phone.
"That's sweet," I replied.
"But, my hands would be all over you," my guy said, nodding in agreement while bringing this point up.
"Not when we're both dopey after being intimate," I said. "Your paws would be down."
My guy smiled at me as we continued to eat.
"This picture is perfect. It even shows my slanty eyes," I said, smiling.
My guy paused for a bit. He knew that it was okay to use slanty, as I was obviously okay with it.
"Having slanty eyes is one of the perks of being with a Chinese woman," he said.
I call him sweetie for a reason. He simply is one.

Protein powder ultimatum

The events mentioned in this post occurred a week ago. I am still a bit backlogged!

My guy and I have been chatting a lot on Skype as of late. He has been back from his work trip, but we have yet to see each other.

We had chatted for nearly three hours on Saturday night. I will need to write about it in another post.

On Sunday, we didn't connect online. I eventually went to bed at 01:00 Monday morning. When I woke up, I had a sweet e-mail from him.

We have an ever-growing list of nicknames for each other. More importantly, he wrote to me twice in one day. That is rare for him. I tend to do more writing, simply because that is what I do for a living, as he had pointed out one day.

I like when he calls me sweet thing or cute cheeks. He ends his e-mails with kisses and specifies where he wants to kiss me.

We chatted twice last night. Yes, we truly miss each other. Luckily, we get to see each other tomorrow. He has an offsite meeting. I am in the office. We will be spending some quality time after work.

My guy and I chatted about our day. We ended up talking about protein powder. It is interesting that we both have this common interest, but we have never talked about it in depth until last night.

I have a protein shake every day. I admitted that most do not taste yummy, but I like the protein powders that I have. My guy pointed out the dilemma of getting a huge container of protein powder and not liking the taste of it. The powder just stays there in the cupboard and goes to waste.
"You need to help me try some of your protein powder samples and guarantee that I will like them."
"That sounds demanding and unfair," I responded.
"See, it's not about your needs, it's about mine."
"Are you going to punish me if you don't like the protein power flavours that I supply to you?"
"If I don't like them, I will definitely spank you."
"You're just a meanie."
A while back, we had a conversation in his car about Hurontario Street in Mississauga. I had indicated that it was also known as Highway 10. He said that it wasn't.
"I was driving along Hurontario Street and it became Highway 10. You were right. I was thinking that it was Highway 410."
"I knew that I was right. After all, you are GPS-dependent. I just didn't dispute it."
"You were definitely correct," he admitted.
"See, you can't spank me for that," I said boldly.
"I can find other things to spank you for," he said, as we both smiled to each other.
Just when you think that a couple can't get any closer on Skype, we can.

Excited all day over an opening salutation

I realize that my posts are not in sequential order as of late. I will link the new ones with my older posts once I actually compose the new ones!

My guy wrote to me on Sunday morning. We tend to give each other nicknames in our opening salutation. These nicknames don't normally stick. It's just our way of showing affection to each other.

Well, I wasn't expecting him to start off by writing, "Hey, longing for punishment girl," but he did. Ever since I read that line, I have been wet and happy.

Needless to say, it is a huge turn-on for me. The anticipation of knowing that I will be over his knee for a sound spanking on Monday makes me horny. He knows which buttons to push. I have not been this excited with a spanking warning for quite some time.

On Friday, he called me sweetness, which is one of his usual nicknames for me.
"I love when you call me sweetness," I said. He proceeded to kiss me on my lips.
"See, sweetness," he said with a huge grin on his face.
"Is that your experiment to prove your hypothesis?" I asked him.
"Yes. I kissed you, and your kiss was sweet. Therefore, you are sweetness."
He's funny and cute.

Soaps and sweetness

This post is a bit different than my usual ones.

When I was twelve years old, a friend introduced me to watching my first soap opera, Days of Our Lives. There are two plot lines that I remember fondly. A few actions have triggered these memories as of late.

As you know, I have been interested in spanking for quite some time. I remember the storyline between John and Isabella quite well. The best storyline segments that have always intrigued me were Isabella's birthday. There was one episode in which Isabella is wearing a cobalt blue dress. John puts her over his knee and gives her a few birthday smacks. I loved watching it, but never had it recorded.

As of late, I have been going through YouTube trying to find this clip. Unfortunately, I have yet to find it. I did find another one where she gets one birthday lovetap. Too bad it's not the best as far as actually seeing John's hand smack Isabella's bottom, but it is there at the 6:05 mark of this clip.

The other storyline involves Kayla and Patch. Kayla was this sweet-looking, blonde woman from a solid, well-grounded family. She was in love with Patch (yes, he wore an eyepatch). He was kind of like the Fonz from Happy Days in that Patch wore a leather jacket, a t-shirt, jeans, but had shaggy dirty-blonde hair.

This storyline reminds me of my guy and me. Well, I am not blonde and my guy doesn't wear an eyepatch. However, Patch had a nickname for Kayla, which was sweetness. For the past month, my guy has been calling me by that nickname, too. I do like it. I have been calling him my sweetie for a while now, simply because he is probably the sweetest man that I have ever been with.

I have yet to share this tidbit with my guy. He is currently on a flight back to Toronto. He is returning home to do laundry and will fly out again to Sweden for a couple of weeks. I will then have him for a week, which is always wonderful.

In the beginning...

I've decided to start a blog about spanking. I've chosen Cutiebootie as my nickname, for my husband, G, thinks that I have a cute bottom and it kind of rhymes.

I'll be sorting out why I enjoy being spanked and doing the spanking. I'll also be jotting down how I feel about getting severely spanked by G and given him a few swats on his naughty little bottom, too.

Stay tuned...
