Early meeting and snow

I have an early morning meeting in several hours. I'm trying to wind down.

The good news is that I'll end my day at 3:30 pm. It's supposed to snow on Wednesday, so I'll run my errands after work today.

It's snowing right now, but it's not heavy.

Okay, I should get some sleep or I'll be sleeping through my meeting!

Cutting it close for an early conference call

I had to wake up early yesterday for a 7 am conference call. We had a couple of months off from it, but it's back.

I had two alarms set up. I sleep with earbuds. I typically set my watch that I wear to buzz, but I forgot to.

Luckily, I heard my phone's alarm at 6:53 am. It was enough time to boot up my laptop and sound sort of coherent for the first ten minutes of the call where I needed to speak.

It's never a dull day. The good news was that I ended my day at 3:30 pm. Yay!

Blind interviewing

I'm conducting an interview with my manager at 8 am later today. Sadly, I don't have any meeting details. I know that I'm interviewing one of two candidates. I don't know which one.

Stellar organization... not!

To make an extremely long story short, the person whom I trained back in late April didn't work out. My manager decided to terminate his contract. We need to fill that position as soon as we can, which means that I'll be training this person.

Happy Friday!

Vaccine and an early meeting

On Monday afternoon, my friend shared the news with me that she got her COVID-19 vaccine. I was so happy for her. It lifted her spirits up.

I was thrilled that she reached out to me. We had talked about my experience last week when she asked me how I felt after getting my shot.

It was great news to the start of the workweek.

I'm off to bed soon. I have a 7 am meeting that occurs every five months. It's that four-hour meeting that it way too long.

Last early meeting of 2020

Yesterday, I had my final 7 am work meeting for the year. It's the four-hour marathon that I attend every five weeks.

It was an interesting, good meeting. I don't enjoy such an early start, though.

The good thing about such an early start is that I got to end my day at 3:30 pm. I ended up taking a nap and organizing a few items with some storage container that I had recently purchased.

It's good to feel accomplished.

Early morning meeting and a generous plushie gift

I should be off to bed now. I have a meeting that starts at 7 am for four hours. Oh, joy!

On a nice note, a local business has a small monkey as a mascot. It has a small plushie version of this mascot. I asked whether it was available for purchase. I got a response from the business immediately. It doesn't sell plushies, but the owner wanted to send me one for free for being a supporter for a few years now.

This generous gesture has made my week!

Phone chats should not be a part of an agenda!

The new guy in my life had an "agenda" request yesterday. He wants to talk on the phone with me every morning. I gently let him know that conversations should be natural and spontaneous. They shouldn't be scheduled and treated like business meetings!

I appreciate that he wants to talk with me and enjoys our chats, but it becomes overkill doing it daily. Besides, who wants to talk to me first thing in the morning when I am barely functioning and trying to get out the door in one piece?!

He's funny in his own way. Getting to know each other is going well. He listens and trusts me. It's good.

Surprise text full of honest, sweet thoughts

The man in my life is sweet and mushy. He poured his heart out in a text last night to me. It was poignant.

He had said that he can't write a novel. He proved himself wrong. It was nice and I woke up wiht a smile on my face reading it.

It's nice to feel loved again. To feel like someone out there cares and is genuinely sweet.

Dropping in at 6 am to cuddle and kiss

Last Sunday, my guy knocked on my hotel room just before 06:00. I opened the door and liked seeing him smile at me.
"I'm sleepyhead," I said, which made him smile.
"I know," he replied.
He got plenty of sleep on the plane. This time around, he found the bathroom just fine. Last time, he thought the closet was the washroom.

We sat on the couch and cuddled. I got him some powdered peanut butter. It's great for travelling. You just add water, stir, and you get peanut butter. It has practically no carbs, which made him happy. I also got him sugar-free mints from Sweden.

He thanked me. He moved in to kiss me on the lips. I loved having his lips pressed against mine. It was nice.

We held hands. He admired my pink nail polish. He loved looking at my hands. He then enjoyed looking at my wrist.
"You're wearing the evil eye bracelet," he observed.
"Yes, I have been wearing it since you got me it. I love how when light hits it, the blue changes to purple," I said.
"Nice! It looks good on you," he said.
"Thanks! I love it," I replied.
It was my time of the month. He was also a bit tired from his travels, so it was nice to chat and cuddle.
"Is your shirt new?" I asked him, snuggling up to him.
"Newish. I got it at our favourite liquidation outlet for $5. My pants were $10," he said proudly.
"I love you, CB," I said.
I love when my sweet Cheap Bastard takes pride in saving a ton of money while looking stylish.

Sweets, kisses, hugs, and a paddle

On Saturday, my guy's flight was expected to land at around 07:30. I had anticipated that he would get to the hotel by 09:00.

I woke up at around 07:45. It was the perfect time to get myself ready. The anticipation of seeing him was building.

My guy knocked on the door at 08:40. He was early. Yay!

I looked through the door's peephole. He was standing outside, with a nice smile on his face. I opened the door.

He looked good. We stood there admiring each other for a few seconds.
"Delivery!" he exclaimed, holding a white box that looked like pizza.
"Hey, I know you," I said.
He walked in. He let me know that the box contained sweets, as promised. He set the box down.

We embraced. I hugged him tightly and told him that I missed him. He whispered that he missed me, too.

I caressed his cleanly shaved head. We kissed. He held my hand and led me to the sofa.

We kissed some more. And hugged some more, too.

I was wearing a cold shoulder shirt with a short skirt. He adjusted my shirt and found my black bra strap. He was aroused. He touched my bare thigh and proceeded to find my crotch.

He played with me for a bit before his fingers went under my black panties. He fingered me. I was wet and equally as aroused as he. He made my reach orgasm hard. It was good.

We cuddled for a bit and then talked. He lightly swatted my right buttock.
"I need to punish you. Where is your punishment tool?" he asked me.
"What punishment tool? I'm your good girl," I replied.
"No, you're my bad girl. I need to punish you. Go find your spanking implement," he insisted.
It's always exciting when I am about to get a hard spanking.

Early morning meetings and time

It has been a long workweek. I have had a conference call every day at 8 am, except for Tuesday. On Tuesday, my call started at 7 am and went for four hours. Luckily, this meeting happens once a month.

Needless to say, I am pretty tired of all these early morning meetings. I collaborate with folks in Europe and Asia. Thus, I get the short end of the stick and have to wake up early for these meetings.

Luckily, it's a long weekend coming up. I can relax before I do this early morning routine again next week. So far, I only have early meetings next Tuesday and Wednesday.

My manager is a time-waster. He books our weekly team meeting for two hours and seems to force spending the full two hours discussing anything under the sun. It's not a productive use of time, especially when he reads PowerPoint slides and doesn't comprehend what he is reading. The rest of us have actual work to attend to.

Anyway, I am off to bed early. I'm beat.

K is for knees

This post is a bit different. It is more an observation about my guy and a perspective that I enjoy from afar.

My guy does stretches in the morning. He has a lightweight travel mat that he brings with him.

When he finally feels like getting out of bed, he will place his mat on the floor and stretch. I like watching him.

The most appealing part to me occurs when he is on his knees and he bends forward, with his butt up in the air. It's a happy sight to see in the morning. I like thinking about going over and smacking it. I just don't want to ruin his stretching regimen.

It's aways a great start to the day when I see my guy. It's simply eye candy when I enjoy such quiet moments.

I is for in bed

The title of this blog post sounds like I have cracked open a fortune cookie and have tacked on in bed after my fortune. This post is about my guy who loves being in bed.

My guy takes a while to get out of bed. He is not a morning person.

Last week, his alarm on his phone predictably went off at 07:00. He spend ten minutes in bed, which is the time that his alarm will finally stop on its own. He then spends another ten minutes in bed before he thinks about getting up.

He is like a sweet boy when he hugs his pillow tightly. He truly does not want to get out of a warm bed. He is my sleepyhead.

One morning, his alarm went off at the expected time. He actually got out of bed and did some stretches on his mat. He then crawled back into bed. Ugh!

I also noticed that when he plays with my nipples and other of my body parts while we are both in bed, he wakes up pretty quickly.

I suppose that I should be his alarm clock more often when he has to get up for work.

E is for ejaculation

On my guy's birthday, we had a flight out at 08:05. It was also Easter Sunday.

I am typically a morning person who is also a night owl. It's a deadly combination. I actually went to bed at 23:00 the previous evening, which was super early for me. I got up at 03:00. I couldn't go back to sleep.

My guy called me at around 05:45. I was busy scraping frost off my car's windshield. I called him back. Surprisingly, he was nearly at the office. My hotel room was a five-minute drive over.

I swung by the main doors of my office building and dropped my luggage off. I then went to park my car in the underground parking.

By the time I had locked my car and was climbing up the stairs towards the office building, my guy was there, looking at my luggage. He then turned around, saw me, and came over to hug and kiss me.

He got his luggage out of his car. We then sat in his car and cuddled. He liked my haircut and his hand dipped under my shirt. He was caressing my shoulder while kissing me.
"As soon as I saw you, I got hard," he said, in his sweet, boyish way.
"I've missed you, too."
We held hands pretty much the entire way, from the taxi ride, through security, at the gate, and on the plane. We broke up some of the hand-holding by kissing now and again.

My guy's member was exceptionally hard on the plane, to the point where he told me that it hurt. He excused himself to visit the washroom. He came back and seemed relieved.
"Did you wash your hands," I asked, joking with him.
"Yes, I did," he replied, grinning.
"Too bad those washrooms aren't big enough for two people. I would have liked to have given you some hands-on relief," I replied, smiling.
Of course, there was more fun to come later on that evening. We were just getting started.

Being close with my guy from afar

During my guy's two-week trip to Seattle, his hotel's Internet connection was horrible. It was okay for us to text on Skype, but it wasn't a strong enough signal for us to chat.

The last night that my guy was at that hotel, we started off texting, but he insisted on hearing my voice.
"I will use my phone's data plan," my guy stated.
"Will that be a lot to expense?" I asked him.
"It's okay. I have done it in the past."
It was nice talking to him. To make a long story short, I was helping my guy buy voltage converters. He has to travel to Cairo and needed a number of them. He was flying back home for a few hours before jetting off to Cairo. I offered to do the shopping and save him some time. He greatly appreciated it.

He asks for my opinion on various topics. He had bought a new suitcase and asked me what I thought of a hard shell versus a soft one. He felt reassured after I told him my view. It eased his mind.

I could hear in his voice that he missed me. He asked me to take a selfie of my new haircut. I don't like taking selfies, but he wanted to see me badly. I did and he loved the new hairdo. He wanted to see me on Sunday badly. The wait was too long for both of us.

On Saturday morning, I had slept in. Half an hour later, my guy called me on my cell phone. It was nice to start the day hearing his voice and chatting. His flight was later in the day, so he had time to shop and do some touristy stuff.

In the afternoon, my guy called me again from Macy's. He was looking for a jacket. I talked about getting all the voltage converts at great sale prices. He was so happy, because he is Cheap Bastard. He couldn't wait to see me again. The feeling is always mutual.

We texted before his flight, too. We are like teenagers in love. We can't get enough of each other.

Being apart this time around has made us closer than ever.

P is for pants

It was Monday morning. It was our first morning in Montreal.

My guy and I woke up at 07:00. He didn't have his cell phone by his bedside. Instead, it was across the room, charging.
"How did you sleep?" I asked.
"I sleep better with pants on," he said in his honest, boyish way.
My guy walked across the room to get his phone and finally shut off the alarm. It was the best way for me to wake up.

I admired his bare butt from afar. Although waking up to an obnoxious alarm wasn't great, seeing his bare bottom made up for it and more!

Good morning call and aftermath chat about my rear end

On Friday, my guy did the sweetest thing. To most, it wouldn't be a huge deal. It was to me.

I tend to get to the office by 08:30 when I am there in the mornings. I got a call at 09:05 from my guy, who was in the training room. He has never done that before.

The fact that my car was obviously in the parking lot tends to put him at ease and makes him happy. I noticed that he was in the office earlier than usual. He told me that he stayed at his friend's place overnight, which is closer to work than if he drove from his place. It also helped that many folks took Friday off, kicking off the long holiday weekend here, and made the morning drive to work a lot easier.
"Did you get enough beauty sleep? Well, you don't really need any. You're fine," I said to him.
"I woke up at my regular time of 07:00," he replied. I could tell that he was smiling, judging by the cheerful tone of his voice.
We talked some more. I am not sure exactly what we were talking about.
"Maybe I should flash them, to make the seminar is interesting," he said.
"Well, if you did that to me, I'd be very happy. However, to your attendees, you may not have a job after that," I explained.
"Are you by yourself upstairs?" he asked me.
"Nope," I said.
"Shouldn't you be careful about what you're saying?" he said, in his usual paranoid way when it comes to our private conversations in the workplace.
"Don't worry. All is fine."
"I do worry," he admitted.
"I know you do. It's okay."
My guy wished me a good day and said that he wanted to say good morning to me. I am glad that he did. I said that we'd talk later.

At lunch, he called me. He was waiting in his car in front of our office building. Minutes later, I waved to him while walking to his car and then got in.

I reassured him that all was okay with our conversation this morning. My colleague actually thought that I was talking to our other writer. My guy was fine after that statement, as I am comfortable talking to anyone.
"How's your rear end?" my guy asked, referring to our flogging session the other day.
"It's good now," I said. "The pain was immediate, lasted for a few hours, left some marks, but went away faster than I had thought it would. When you spank me hard, that pain lingers for a day or so. It's good. We should do it again."
"Sounds good," he said, smiling at me. "I was worried about you."
It's great that he's my best friend, my lover, and my disciplinarian. It all works nicely.

The art of blowing kisses

Sometimes, when I least expect it, I hear from my guy. As always, it makes me happy.

He woke up just past 06:30 his time, logged on to Skype, and immediately started to chat with me. I had roughly half an hour to chat with him before I had to fetch some lunch and then head over to the office for a meeting.

It was great to hear about the shopping purchases that he made in San Francisco before boarding his flight over to Auckland. I was genuinely interested in what he had to buy and vice-versa. He loves Costco. He had a barbeque pork sandwich with coleslaw there, which you cannot get here. He also got some super-soft t-shirts and underwear.

I asked him whether he got underwear that had some sort of hand that would automatically wrap around his penis. He had suggested this fine idea last week. He told me that he couldn't find any underwear that did self-masturbation. We do talk about the weirdest things.

My guy loves to iron. He was raving about how great the iron was in his hotel room. It made me smile. We are quirky that way. In my case, he asked me why I don't blow him kisses. Frankly, I have never done that before.

He raised the subject again before we ended our conversation:
"You will be practising blowing kisses today, right?" he asked me.
"Maybe. I'll be making fishy faces in front of the mirror," I replied.
"You won't look like a fish. You'll look cute with those lips of yours," he stated without hesitation.
"I can't do it in front of a mirror," I told him.
"You can try it out with me once I'm back."
"So, I should go on the street and blow kisses at anyone?" I asked him.
"No, not anyone. Perhaps a cute guy," he suggested.
"I can't. You're halfway around the world."
He liked that. We'll be having morning chats with each other this week. He told me that he likes starting off his day on the right foot. I couldn't agree with him more. Talking to him always makes my day.

A sweet conversation to start off the day

I wish that every morning started off this way. I will need to backtrack a bit.

On Sunday, my guy and I had started to chat on Skype. However, his hotel room had lost power and he was fumbling around in the dark, trying to find the fuse box. Yes, I was shocked that it has a fuse box right in the room itself.

So, his room had power once he had flicked the fuse switch, but his laptop would not charge properly. He only had ten minutes of battery power. As a result, we only chatted for ten minutes.

He felt bad about not being able to chat. I was wondering whether it was his laptop's battery that was shot or his charger. Well, the following day, he borrowed a charger from a client in Amsterdam for the day, and then went out to buy a new one.

On Monday morning, we chatted on Skype. I was feeling sluggish, mainly because I had tried to sleep in after having woken up from six hours of solid sleep. That attempt wasn't a wise one.

My guy convinced me to take the day off, to not go into work, and to take it easy. He knows that I work hard. I took his advice and did just that.

We actually chatted again on Skype later on that day. He asked me whether I had wanted a sex toy while he was in Amsterdam. He wanted to get me my first dildo, to remind me of him when he was on the road. It's quite the thoughtful gift!

Anyway, he had hoped to chat with me on Tuesday. I had figured that he'd be too busy sightseeing, shopping, and packing to chat. So, I wasn't upset when he didn't.

This morning, after having fixed myself some breakfast, I fetched my laptop and powered it up. I don't normally go and grab my cell phone first thing in the morning. I don't know what possessed me to do it this morning, but I am sure glad that I did.

As soon as I had picked it up, my phone rang. It was a long-distance number that I didn't recognize. Knowing how curious I can be, I picked it up.
"Hello, Cutiebootie speaking," I said.
"Did you just wake up?"
"What?"
"I called you an hour ago. I know that you're an earlybird."
In a rare move, my guy had called me from the car rental place at the airport an hour earlier. He was now waiting to board his flight back home. It was great to speak to him this morning.
"I got you a dildo," he said.
"Thanks so much. What colour is it?" I asked.
"It's a light pink," he said.
"That's very feminine," I remarked.
"I will leave it in your desk drawer at work, in a bag," he said.
"That sounds good. I would hate it to be standing up in front of my monitor as a paperweight."
We both laughed. It would be a pretty good conversational piece.
"Can we do lunch at our usual place tomorrow?" he asked me rather sweetly.
"That sounds good. It would be nice to see and chat with you."
"Maybe after lunch, we can have dessert," he hinted.
"You really can't wait, can you?" I asked him rhetorically.
"For sure."
It has been three weeks since I last saw him. Touched him. Kissed him. Got spanked by him.

I told him the other day that I longed to see him. I can't believe that in several hours, I will.

The wait is about to end. It's about time!
