It's snowing post-Christmas

We didn't get snow on Christmas. Instead, the snow came late on Boxing Day. It's snowing overnight.

I'm not sure whether I'll be going out in the morning later on today. I kind of like that housekeeping doesn't come once a day during this pandemic. It means that I can stay in my room later, watch TV, eat breakfast at a leisurely pace, write, and relax.

My first week of vacation has flown by. I love waking up without an alarm clock going off. I still get up relatively early at around 8 am. I feel that it's the excitement of exploring the Twin Cities that makes me so enthusiastic to wake up early and get on with my day.

I'm back and am sleepy

I'm home after a relaxing, fun staycation. I am exhausted, though.

My room's alarm clock woke me up an hour earlier than I had anticipated. I wish that I could sleep in tonight, but I have a teleconference call at 7 am.

More about my weekend later... I need some sleep!

Natural sweeteners and a sore bottom

My guy and I are similar, even when it comes to wake-up times this past weekend. We both got up at 10:40 am on Saturday and at 10:00 am on Sunday.

On Sunday, my guy called me while driving off to his course. We had this conversation.
"How is your green drink blending program going?" he asked me.
"Good. I have been varying the original recipe. I have been experimenting with removing the green apple," I replied.
"Don't you want any sweetness in your drink?" he asked me.
"I can actually do without the sugar. I drink iced green tea without sugar. I also drink hot tea black," I replied.
"Well, if you lick your lips before each sip, that would be sweet enough," my guy said, being mushy and sweet.
"If I kissed your lips first, my drink would be perfectly sweetened," I replied.
"You're so sweet," he replied.
We are both mushy. Our date was in a few hours. It went well. I am sitting here with a sore backside to prove it.

Wakey wakey versus wacky wacky

Last week at work was pretty hectic. I was supposed to work from home on Friday, but got sucked in to a team lunch thanks to my manager.

My guy (MG) had already indicated that he was going out for lunch with a bunch of colleagues who were in the same training session as he was. However, we both didn't know that I would be in the office until I broke the news to him in an instant message chat.
Me: Just thought I'd say hi and wakey wakey.
MG: Thanks, Cutiebootie. Your wakey wakeys are always welcome :)
Me: I need a wakey wakey today, too!
MG: Are you sure that you don't need a wacky wacky?
Me: I'd like that, but I'm good =?
MG: Not even close
Me: Yes. Me = good!
MG: You = good at work
Me:  Nooo. If I were bad, I'd be sore all week. It hasn't happened. So, I'm good!
MG: We could fix that sometime today.
So, yes, it was a wacky wacky afternoon for us.

Snoozy guy

My guy is such a sleepyhead. He typically hits the snooze button on his phone's alarm app at least three times. The other day, he did it for an hour and a half.

He even asked the front desk at the hotel where he is staying up to give him a wake-up call. Apparently, the phone has a snooze button, too.

I asked him over Skype whether he felt rested snoozing both the alarm on his phone and the hotel phone.
"I was so tired. I had to," he explained.
"You're such a sleepyhead," I said to him.
"I know. I'm snoozy."
So, he continues to give me more nicknames to call him by. He's now snoozy.

Being close with my guy from afar

During my guy's two-week trip to Seattle, his hotel's Internet connection was horrible. It was okay for us to text on Skype, but it wasn't a strong enough signal for us to chat.

The last night that my guy was at that hotel, we started off texting, but he insisted on hearing my voice.
"I will use my phone's data plan," my guy stated.
"Will that be a lot to expense?" I asked him.
"It's okay. I have done it in the past."
It was nice talking to him. To make a long story short, I was helping my guy buy voltage converters. He has to travel to Cairo and needed a number of them. He was flying back home for a few hours before jetting off to Cairo. I offered to do the shopping and save him some time. He greatly appreciated it.

He asks for my opinion on various topics. He had bought a new suitcase and asked me what I thought of a hard shell versus a soft one. He felt reassured after I told him my view. It eased his mind.

I could hear in his voice that he missed me. He asked me to take a selfie of my new haircut. I don't like taking selfies, but he wanted to see me badly. I did and he loved the new hairdo. He wanted to see me on Sunday badly. The wait was too long for both of us.

On Saturday morning, I had slept in. Half an hour later, my guy called me on my cell phone. It was nice to start the day hearing his voice and chatting. His flight was later in the day, so he had time to shop and do some touristy stuff.

In the afternoon, my guy called me again from Macy's. He was looking for a jacket. I talked about getting all the voltage converts at great sale prices. He was so happy, because he is Cheap Bastard. He couldn't wait to see me again. The feeling is always mutual.

We texted before his flight, too. We are like teenagers in love. We can't get enough of each other.

Being apart this time around has made us closer than ever.

Waking up early on a Saturday with a sore bottom

I enjoy waking up next to my guy. I never take it for granted. However, I cherish the times more these days ever since I was let go for nearly a month. He doesn't want to let me go these days. I feel the same way about him.

I woke up on Saturday morning just after 07:00. Yes, it was super early to be up on the weekend. I quietly sat on the bed, looking at my guy. He had taken most of the bedsheets, rolling himself in them like a spring roll.

He eventually woke up. I kissed and hugged him. He reciprocated and told me to sleep in. I told him that I have delayed meeting up with a fellow colleague by half an hour, to spend more time with my guy in bed. He liked that.

I kissed and hugged him some more. I loved how smooth his head and face were to the touch.

He played with my nipples under my grey top. I wasn't wearing a bra. He marvelled at how hard my nipples were.

Unfortunately, I had to get on with my day. I brushed my teeth and hair, and changed into my green top and jeans in front of my guy. He told me that my shirt fit me well. It was a snug fit on me. He liked the fact that my shirt hugged my breasts.

I gathered my stuff and kissed him goodbye. He was flying back home today. I was off to New York for a day trip. He got out of bed, and kissed both my cheeks and lips. We hugged for a long time. I wished him a safe flight. He wished me a great second week in training.

In New York City, I had forgotten how hard my spanking was the night before until I boarded a hop-and-go bus for a tour of the city. The seats were hard. My backside was sore. It was a three-hour bus ride.

As sore as my butt felt, I was happy as can be. A spanking does wonders to this girl's heart and soul.
