D is for downstairs seeing my guy #AtoZchallenge

Mondays are typically blah. The countdown for the weekend kicks in immediately.

I tried to keep my work-related stress down. The morning went pretty well, even though I was in three meetings. It's nice that half the day blew by.

I had just finished eating my lunch. I was unwinding by watching a video podcast on my phone. My phone rang. It was my guy.
"Hey!" I exclaimed. "Where are you?"
"Hey, I'm downstairs in the lobby. I am here to fetch my car, but I have some manuals for you," he said.
"You just came in?" I asked him.
"Yes, I had to spend an unexpected couple of days in Frankfurt due to flight delays and cancellations," my guy explained.
"Sorry to hear. I'll come downstairs," I replied.
It was nice seeing him. Although he travelled a fairly good distance to get home, he was happy and in good spirits.
"Do you like my new coat?" he asked me, modelling a grey coat.
"It's woolly!" I exclaimed, caressing the fabric around my guy's chest area.
"It is," he confirmed.
"It suits you. It's the perfect length," I stated.
"I agree," he said.
"It's nice to have the real woolly. I cuddle up next to purple woolly. I love him," I told him, which made him smile.
"Do you hump him?" he teased.
"No, he's a plush! I'd rather hump you," I replied.
He nodded. He obviously approved. It was such a nice pick-me-up to see him.

Shorter week means more work, trips, and cuddles with Woolly

A shorter workweek sounds good. For me, it tends to be hectic. Unfortunately, I predicted correctly.

I work from home on Wednesdays. My boss booked a two-hour meeting yesterday. I was asked to join online. I decided to join for half an hour, citing having an appointment at 10:30 am. I am glad that I did. I spent the remaining time catching up on work.

It is pretty hectic trying to complete my own work on top of working with two summer interns. I spend a decent amount of time making sure that they know what they are doing. I then spend even more time reviewing their work, which involved a total of 1000 pages of edits within the past two days.

The fun part? I finished filing my travel expenses for last week's conference. As strange as it sounds, I enjoy filing expenses. I am organized. It's probably a math thing. I had all my receipts photographed. My boss knows how I tick. He immediately approved everything.

Guess what? I get to go on campus to one of the universities I had visited back in February to interview a new set of prospective interns to start work in September. I get to do a mini road trip this Friday with my boss, who likes that I end up expensing everything and driving us there. It really means that he will approve what we have for lunch.

He actually trusts me so much with my food recommendations that he has asked that I pick a place. Back in February, I chose a ramen place right off the bat, without even being asked to do this task. He was game. It's good that we both love food and I have a say in what yummy food I want to eat.

I miss my guy. I was cuddling Woolly, the stuffed plush sheep that he gave me, earlier. I had him in between my breasts. The way that Woolly looked at me reminds me of my guy doing the same thing after playing or sucking on my breasts.

My guy chose the perfect gift as a sweet reminder of him.

Laundry, paint, and cum solution

My guy and I like doing laundry. I may have to broaden this topic and say that we both like clothes.

We enjoy shopping and finding deals on clothes. A couple of weeks ago, my guy and I were driving over to our usual restaurant for lunch.
"Is that wool?" I asked him, reaching over and touching his arm.
"Yes, my blazer is wool. Unfortunately, i got paint on the sleeve," he told me, showing it.
"Oh, no. Woolly is not happy," I noted. It's another nickname, as he called himself that one day.
"I know. It's tough enough to find a brown blazer that fits me. It cost me $60 USD for this jacket," he explained, slowly starting to whine.
"It's okay. I am sure that we can remove the paint."
My guy successfully removed the paint with a special kit that we both got at Costco a while back. We had bought a huge tub of Pink Solution, which is a multi-purpose cleaner. It used to be pink, but the company removed the dye. My guy affectionately calls it cum solution, because it looks exactly like semen.

Anyway, we both enjoy doing laundry. I love hanging my clothes outside to dry when the weather is warm and nice. My guy enjoys folding laundry. He goes one step further and takes pride in ironing his shirts and pants.

We are neat, clean freaks to a certain extent. We see nothing wrong with being who we are.

Finding the wooden ruler and loving Woolly

I was happy that Friday had arrived. It has been a good week. I have been training our new hires. On Friday, the three interns, my boss, a new writer, and I all went out for lunch.

On Thursday, I had to clean my car. I knew that I would be one of the drivers going to the restaurant.

Last weekend, my guy has spanked me with the wooden ruler that I typically keep in my car's glove compartment. After our treehouse time, I didn't know what he had done with the ruler.

I was panicking a bit inside. I went searching around the backseat. It turned out that my guy had slipped the ruler in the seat pocket in front of where he had been sitting.

I took the wooden ruler and placed it in the glove compartment. All was safe for my passengers to not question why I have a ruler in the first place.

My guy did send me a quick e-mail today. I was busy at work training the two new interns and writer. He wished me a nice weekend. I did the same in return.

We get to see each other on Monday. Next to my pillow is Woolly, the Irish sheep plush toy that my guy bought for me. I love it. It's a nice reminder of him.

Extra goodies and cuddles

My guy often tells me that he is horrible at giving gifts. To me, he does a fine job. He's too hard on himself.

On Saturday, when he gave me a number of fine gifts from his travels, he didn't tell me that he also decided to get me rum-flavoured chocolates. He knows that I enjoy chocolate. I love rum. So, put them together, and I love them even more!

I especially liked receiving the Shaun the Sheep plush toy. He is next to my pillow on my bed. My guy was right -- that this plush toy is great for cuddling. It's a nice reminder of my guy, as he often wears wool sweaters and I call him Woolly from time to time.

Directions, lunch, and woolly mammoth

On Thursday, my guy (MG) let me know on our corporate instant messaging application that he was ready to go our for lunch.
MG: Hey
Me: Hey, WM. Ready for lunch?
MG: Yes, you?
Me: Yep. Meet you downstairs.
MG: See you soon!
I got into an elevator with roughly eleven other people. I was the last one in and the first one out. Seconds later, my guy walked out of another elevator all by himself. Ah, the luck!

We walked to his car. I asked him where he had parked. He pointed west, but he was standing right in front of his car. I couldn't help but laugh, which was probably a good reason for him to spank me soon.

He drove us to our usual restaurant for lunch, with us holding hands along the way. He parked and we walked over to the restaurant, which wasn't too busy.

We sat down.
"My bottom doesn't hurt sitting on this wooden chair anymore," I stated factually.
"That's not good," my guy said.
We looked at the menu and placed our orders. We got free calendars, which was a nice touch.
"What does WM stand for?" my guy asked me curiously.
"Woolly Mammoth," I replied, which made him nod and smile.
My guy was wearing a blue wool sweater. He is indeed my woolly mammoth.

Woolly mammoth requests treehouse time

On Thursday, after my guy had paid for our lunch, we waited as his students paid for their meals.

My guy and I decided to catch up:
"Did you wear a coat today?" I asked him, admiring his dress shirt, sweater, and jacket combination.
"I didn't. My sweater is wool and so is my jacket. I'm a woolly mammoth today," he said, smiling.
"You don't look like a mammoth to me. You don't have any tusks," I remarked.
"I have one tusk. It is also hard," my guy said, grinning. "It needs polishing."
We also talked about Sharky, one of my project managers at work. On Monday, he saw me get off the elevator and say hi to my guy, who was waiting in the lobby for me. Sharky has a thing for me, which both my guy and I know about, but he has an odd way of dealing with it.

When I am talking with my manager and the conversation is humourous, Sharky has the need to come in and be a part of the conversation. It happened on Tuesday.

My guy and I were outside with a number of male students, figuring out the car-pooling arrangements to the Middle Eastern restaurant, Sharky came over and made small talk with my guy, who is equally as good at that as I am.

While we were still waiting for the remaining students to pay for their meals, we remarked how unusual it was for Sharky to talk to my guy.
"He has never done that with me," my guy told me.
"I know. It's a strange jealousy thing that he has," I observed.
"You're right. He does like you, but obviously isn't doing anything directly about it."
"It's creepy," I remarked.
"It's okay. It is only creepy if he touches you. I won't let him," my guy said.
"You're sweet," I remarked, smiling at him.
"After work, can we have some treehouse time?" my guy asked.
"Of course," I replied enthusiastically.
It is always great to look forward to treehouse time at the end of the day, especially after a long workday.
