I feel that I need to get rid of my ex-guy as a connection on LinkedIn. It's good that he was never interested in social media, so distancing myself from him on those platforms after he broke my heart has been easy.
He isn't on LinkedIn much. Neither am I. I go on there once every month or two. Well, in my feed wiht twenty notifications was a post from him. He invited people to look at his YouTube channel where he does book reviews.
My eyes rolled. They rolled hard. I checked one video out. I stopped after a minute.
He isn't the guy I fell in love with. All I see is an insensitive jerk who only contacts me these days when he's horny. He looks sincere in the video. I know better. It's a facade.
It took him a year to post these videos. He actually posted these videos in August 2019. I don't know why it took him a year to promote his channel.
I'm glad that he has a hobby. I simply don't want to hear about it.
This morning, my music transferred successfully from Google Music to YouTube Music. The downside is that my Mac mini had such a workout that it's not booting up. It's currently taking a break.
Yesterday wasn't a great day for beverages. I spilled both my green iced tea and black cherry pop. I mean at least half of it poured into two different carpets. Ugh!
Plans for Google Music to become YouTube music have been in the works for at least a year. I have been a fan of the former for a while and have a subscription. I like that I can upload my entire iTunes library to Google Music and storage is free.
Yesterday, I got word to transfer my music from Google Music over to YouTube Music. I have a lot of music. It has been transferring for over six hours. It's down to the last task, which is to transfer uploads and purchases. This final task also happens to be the largest.
I started this task on my work laptop. I stopped it and it's now running on my Mac mini. I'll have it run overnight and see how it's doing when I wake up.
My Tuesday started early. I had a conference call at 7 am that lasted four hours. It was nice calling it a day just past 3:30 pm.
Although he really isn't my guy anymore, I will stick with calling him that until I can figure out what other nickname to give him.
Anyway, we had a decent lunch together on Tuesday. I will write about that in a bit.
We still have a close friendship. At one point, I teased him. He took a pair of cheap wooden chopsticks at our usual Chinese restaurant and started slapping my hands with them. He called me a bad girl while doing so.
Under normal circumstances, when I am not grieving, I would be turned on by those words. I did come across this video recently. It's fitting.
I agree with a number of supporters both in the blogosphere and my in-town friends that I should continue to blog about how I feel. After all, I do write for a living and it does provide me comfort. Thanks for your encouragement while I sort out how I feel and try to pick myself back up.
When I was twelve years old, a friend introduced me to watching my first soap opera, Days of Our Lives. There are two plot lines that I remember fondly. A few actions have triggered these memories as of late.
As you know, I have been interested in spanking for quite some time. I remember the storyline between John and Isabella quite well. The best storyline segments that have always intrigued me were Isabella's birthday. There was one episode in which Isabella is wearing a cobalt blue dress. John puts her over his knee and gives her a few birthday smacks. I loved watching it, but never had it recorded.
As of late, I have been going through YouTube trying to find this clip. Unfortunately, I have yet to find it. I did find another one where she gets one birthday lovetap. Too bad it's not the best as far as actually seeing John's hand smack Isabella's bottom, but it is there at the 6:05 mark of this clip.
The other storyline involves Kayla and Patch. Kayla was this sweet-looking, blonde woman from a solid, well-grounded family. She was in love with Patch (yes, he wore an eyepatch). He was kind of like the Fonz from Happy Days in that Patch wore a leather jacket, a t-shirt, jeans, but had shaggy dirty-blonde hair.
This storyline reminds me of my guy and me. Well, I am not blonde and my guy doesn't wear an eyepatch. However, Patch had a nickname for Kayla, which was sweetness. For the past month, my guy has been calling me by that nickname, too. I do like it. I have been calling him my sweetie for a while now, simply because he is probably the sweetest man that I have ever been with.
I have yet to share this tidbit with my guy. He is currently on a flight back to Toronto. He is returning home to do laundry and will fly out again to Sweden for a couple of weeks. I will then have him for a week, which is always wonderful.
Hi! It has been quite some time. I have updates on my birthday spanking and G's, so stay tuned for them.
I have just finished writing my exam for my summer course. I can now focus on better things, such as updating my blog!
In the meantime, I came across this cute YouTube gem:
She calls him an idiot 43 seconds into the video. If I had done the same to G in that scenario, the jeans would definitely come off and a much harder spanking would ensue.
