One more workday before the weekend. I am looking forward to it.
My doing spring cleaning and reorganizing various parts of my home has made me find items that I should use more often. I am using a heart-shaped bar soap, liquid soap, and a bath sponge in a gift box that I had never opened until now. They are all nice.
I am a tea drinker. Being at home, I drink a lot of iced tea these days. When I was in the office, it was always hot tea.
I love my tea collection. I bought a ton of tea when I went to London, UK and Istanbul, Turkey several years ago. I also have various tea varieties that I have bought locally.
There are some positives working and staying at home. Naturally, I miss people and being able to move around without distancing myself from others.

My guy marking up the price of laundry soap
My guy called me yesterday afternoon to chat.
It's a good start to the year so far!
"I went to our favourite liquidation centre last Friday," he reported.Naturally, my guy was joking. I brought it up again later on in our conversation, so he knew that he had to make it up to me.
"Great! What did you get?" I asked.
"I got two buckets of our favourite laundry soap. It was going for $15 each," he noted.
"Cheap, indeed. It's practically half price," I indicated.
"Yes," he agreed. "If you want a bucket, I can sell you one for $25."
"But, you got it for $15. You're marking it up just for me?" I asked.
"Sure," he replied.
"You're so mean. My boyfriend is not only a cheap bastard, but a meanie. You can take that laundry soap and shove it up you-know-where," I replied.
"At least my colon will be clean," he joked.
"I will be far away when you explode," I noted.
It's a good start to the year so far!

Z is for zany
I have made it to this challenge's finish line! I don't know how to end it off, other than writing about something zany. Well, I think it's weird.
My guy has arrived in Dublin. He isn't too crazy about the place. He finds it old and the roads are too narrow for his car.
We are similar in that we worry about such details, but we we rely on each other for support and comfort. Otherwise, he is doing well.
We did a role reversal today. That alone is wacky.
In the past, I accidentally gave him the nickname of Cheap Bastard (CB), which he has embraced. He loves buying items at discounted rates and gets a high out of it.
These days, I call myself the CB protege. We had this conversation on Skype as I was driving home from work and my guy was getting ready to turn in for the night.
Is it Friday yet? It should be at this rate!

"It's starting to rain. I wanted to wash my car yesterday, but held off because it was to rain today and I want a free car wash," I admitted to my guy.We both laughed, especially about the part where I want to dye the soap suds pink.
"I am so proud of you," my guy said to me. "You go to liquidation outlets, you buy a sweater for 50% off its sale price, and now you are saving on car washes," my guy said.
"See, I am a CB protege," I replied.
"Yes, you are. A certified one, too," he stated.
"The rain is really pouring down now. If I drive a bit faster, my car will be shiny," I joked.
"Maybe you can use dishwasher soap and put a dab on the hood," my guy said.
"Hey, that would work. But, the guy behind me would get annoyed clearing all the suds off his car," I noted.

Soaps and sweetness
This post is a bit different than my usual ones.
When I was twelve years old, a friend introduced me to watching my first soap opera, Days of Our Lives. There are two plot lines that I remember fondly. A few actions have triggered these memories as of late.
As you know, I have been interested in spanking for quite some time. I remember the storyline between John and Isabella quite well. The best storyline segments that have always intrigued me were Isabella's birthday. There was one episode in which Isabella is wearing a cobalt blue dress. John puts her over his knee and gives her a few birthday smacks. I loved watching it, but never had it recorded.
As of late, I have been going through YouTube trying to find this clip. Unfortunately, I have yet to find it. I did find another one where she gets one birthday lovetap. Too bad it's not the best as far as actually seeing John's hand smack Isabella's bottom, but it is there at the 6:05 mark of this clip.
The other storyline involves Kayla and Patch. Kayla was this sweet-looking, blonde woman from a solid, well-grounded family. She was in love with Patch (yes, he wore an eyepatch). He was kind of like the Fonz from Happy Days in that Patch wore a leather jacket, a t-shirt, jeans, but had shaggy dirty-blonde hair.
This storyline reminds me of my guy and me. Well, I am not blonde and my guy doesn't wear an eyepatch. However, Patch had a nickname for Kayla, which was sweetness. For the past month, my guy has been calling me by that nickname, too. I do like it. I have been calling him my sweetie for a while now, simply because he is probably the sweetest man that I have ever been with.
I have yet to share this tidbit with my guy. He is currently on a flight back to Toronto. He is returning home to do laundry and will fly out again to Sweden for a couple of weeks. I will then have him for a week, which is always wonderful.
