Happy 2021! Hello, shoulder pain... ugh!

Happy 2021, everyone! Here's to a better year filled with joy, health, optimism, and happiness.

For a few weeks, I have had a nagging pain in my right shoulder. It escalated two days ago. It feels like I have a pinched nerve.

I decided to make circles with my right arm. It felt knotted. After several rotations, my shoulder was sore, but felt better.

Today, my shoulder is doing much better. I can extend my arm up to the ceiling and not feel a ton of discomfort.

I have a feeling that lifting a 15-pound turkey, moving my stationary exercise bike every day, and playing games on my phone have contributed to this pain. I have stopped lifting heavy items with my right hand and take breaks when I am using my phone. I am also doing shoulder and neck rotations. So far, my shoulder is doing well.

It's interesting starting a new year with an ailment.

Having lunch, being groped, and enjoying a kiss

My guy and I are predictable when we have lunch or dinner at the closest Chinese restaurant by our workplace. It was no different on Saturday when we were there for lunch.

I got spicy garlic chicken. He got ginger beef. Both came with steamed rice. Our food was yummy, as always.

We had a wonderful time chatting and laughing. I shared with him that I am going for a week-long business trip in August. He has been there once roughly five years ago, so I got some travel pointers from him.

After we were done having lunch, we left the restaurant. I grabbed his hand and we ran little circles with our thumbs as we held hands. It was reminiscent of the first time that we ever held hands.
"I like that you have cool hands. They are perfect when it feels like summer. It cools me down," I noted.
"Yes, I don't have icy cold hands that make you cringe," he said, smiling.
"You are probably annoyed that my body heat is running high," I noted.
"You're hot, so it makes sense," he said sweetly.
He walked me to my car first, which was closer. I went to unlock my car. His right hand grabbed my left buttock. He groped it often, which aroused me.
"What happens if someone sees you grabbing my butt?" I asked him.
"That person would probably agree with me that a cute girl like you likes your butt groped. You're attractive," he said.
We kissed. It was a nice, tender kiss. The sun was out and about, which made the kiss special.

We separated for a bit. We had to drive back to the office in our cars, load his luggage in my car, and have a bit of treehouse time before heading off to the airport.

Cuddler chair

I was leafing through the latest Costco magazine that I got in the mail. I found a cuddler chair.

Currently, the site is down for maintenance. I am curious to know how much it goes for. Both my guy and I enjoy cuddling. It seems like the perfect little cuddler chair for us. It's like a sofa, but circular.

When the site is back up, I'll try and link to it. It's cute.

We'd also have to test it out to see whether it can also be a spanking chair.

Which end?

My guy called me roughly an hour from the office. He was driving in. I was in a meeting, so I couldn't talk all that much.

When he had arrived, he called me.
"Are you in the parking lot?" I asked him.
"Yes," he replied.
"Where are you?" I asked.
"At the end," he replied.
So, I hung up the phone, left work, got into my car, and went to the end of the parking lot. I didn't see him. I decided to circle around and called him.
"I'm at the end and I don't see your car," I said.
"I'm at the end. I'm by the wall," he replied.
"Ah, you're at the other end and not your usual end," I said, relieved that I had found him.
I forgot that I was getting instructions from a directionally challenged guy. Luckily, I found him.

Sharky, butt watches, diets, and circles

I have talked about a project manager at work who likes me. My guy has nicknamed him Sharky, because he often circles around the cubicle that I choose to sit at when I'm in the office.

Roughly four years ago, I decided out of a whim on a cruise to change my diet. I know that it sounds peculiar. You have all the food you can possible eat on a ship and you're on vacation. You decide to cut out carbs and sugar right then and there?

Yes, I did. It was pretty simple. There were sugar-free desserts. I went for low-carb items, rather than cutting carbs out completely.

Two weeks later, I was down ten pounds. I proceeded to lose a total of sixty pounds and have kept them off ever since. No pills. No weirdness. The challenge is a daily one, to maintain the weight.

My guy always marvels at the fact that I like baked goods, such as chocolate croissants, but I still manage to maintain my weight. It helps to have such goodies from time to time. It's okay to indulge. More importantly, I exercise, and eat fresh food as often as I can.

Anyway, when I was about halfway through my goal weight, I had a pair of jeans on that were loose. I knew that I needed to buy a belt.

I had to visit the women's washroom at work. I got up and went through two sets of doors. Sharky was behind me.

There was a glass door in front of me. I had to walk towards it and then make a left to get to the women's washroom. I could see from the reflection that Sharky was looking at me. In fact, he was looking at my butt. It was a nice, quiet compliment.

I told my guy about that a while back. He told me that any man would want to stare at my backside. He is just the lucky one who gets to grope, smack, and pinch it.

My guy's right. He doesn't have a jealous bone in his body, which is nice. He freely admits that any guy would want to have me, including Sharky. However, my guy knows that my heart is with him and the reverse is true, too.

Sharky isn't a shy guy. He does seem shy around me, though.

Last Friday, he was standing behind me when we were both ordering lunch from downstairs. He didn't say a word to me. I did when I turned around after he had placed his order.

My guy and I think that Sharky is being respectful, knowing that we are a couple. It's nice that he finds me attractive, but it's also a bit creepy when he does his circling routine or can find me anywhere in the office.

As for my guy, he likes to sweetly tell me that I am his. I am. And, he's my guy.
