Selling a concert ticket and getting protective film on my new car's hood

Roughly two years ago, I bought three concert tickets for two friends and me. I had a special code for early access. Unfortunately, I couldn't get three tickets together. Instead, I got a single ticket for me and two tickets together for my friend and her boyfriend.

She paid me back for her tickets. The pandemic happened and this concert has been rescheduled to two weeks from now.

Her boyfriend can't go. So, my friend and I will sit together. I need to sell the single ticket.

I have been able to sell my last two tickets for the Minnesota Wild and Lady Gaga. Here's hoping that I can for this concert.

As for car news, I asked my salesperson if I can get protective film installed on my new car's hood. I have it on my current car and it has been wonderful. I do not have any paint chips. I'm happy that it will be installed in time for pickup next Wednesday.

White moth visit

On Thursday night, I ran a few errands. I normally go grocery shopping on Wednesdays. This past Wednesday, I headed downtown for Beyond Monet. As a result, I delayed my grocery run till Thursday.

After having completed my errands, I was unlocking the front door to my home when a white moth came over. A white moth generally represents someone deceased who has come to say hi.

I knew immediately that it was my friend who passed away in early January. I have been thinking about her more this past month than usual.

I opened the door and the moth followed me in.

"I miss you," I said out loud, looking right at it.

I then headed indoors. I felt happy seeing a good friend.

Sorting my panty collection

Shipments are delayed. It's expected as more folks are turning to ordering items online.

I subscribed to a panty service nearly two weeks ago. I was expected to receive my first shipment last week. I haven't got it yet.

Although I am anxiously looking forward to getting my order, I am a patient person. In the meantime, I'm looking at my current panty drawer and seeing what I have.

I like comfortable panties. I also like lacy ones. I have a good mix of them.

It has been nearly a year since my ex-guy broke up with me. It has been less than a month since I ended a brief stint with my love interest. Looking at my panty drawer more closely has been the furthest thing from my mind.

I'll need to sort it out. I simply threw everything in as storage. I have another drawer for panties that I regularly wear. I need to amalgamate the two drawers and give my panties that I have the proper love that they deserve. I also need to work on self-care.

Missing someone that it hurts and dealing with work madness

Have you ever missed someone that it just hurts? That, for a brief moment, a sense of sadness and panic set in? After all of that passes, you're then okay?

I am feeling all of these emotions. I don't know why I am experiencing such a mixed bag, but I do miss my guy a ton.

I suppose that it doesn't help that there are issues with an upcoming, major software release. All weekend, I simply saw e-mails flooding my inbox on various issues, and what needs to be fixed in both the code and documentation.

About that job that I had interviewed for several weeks ago, it turns out that the position is on hold. I frankly didn't think it was a good fit for me. However, I have heard through the odd, contracted human resources woman that they have a different position in mind for me come January.

I don't have a favourable impression about this company. I will hear what they have to say, but I won't hold my breath.

Chatting about food while driving home

It's a good thing that my guy and I didn't make plans after he got off the plane on Saturday. It sounds odd, but it'll make sense when I describe the whole ordeal.

His flight was delayed by half an hour. Ten other flights had arrived when his did. There was a huge lineup to do the customs declaration and even a longer time talking to a border official.

He called me at nearly 17:00. He should have been home by that time, but he had just picked up his car. We were both driving home, in the same direction, but our starting points were off by about 200 km.

Instead, we talked about food.
"I really love the powdered low-carb peanut butter that you got me. I love it. I took it with me on this trip," he said.
"I'm glad," I replied.
"I also got a beef shawarma wrap at the restaurant that we were at last weekend. It's so authentic and tasty," he said.
"I'm happy that you love the food there. It's my favourite shawarma place," I noted. "I can't find a decent one close to home."
"You may want to try Scarborough. There are a bunch of Middle Eastern places," he suggested.
"That makes sense. I'll check it out sometime," I replied.
We chatted for just under an hour, which was enough time for both of us to arrive home safely.

Evil eye bracelets and pouring rain

Before I drove my guy to the airport over a week ago, he gave me presents from Istanbul. He had asked me what I wanted from the city.

It's easier for me to think of things that I'd like, for I have been to the city before. I asked him for looseleaf tea.

When we first met, I had an evil eye bracelet. It had a dainty chain that eventually snapped. I tried to repair it, but I couldn't salvage it after a couple of tries.

I then got a replacement one. Months later, that one died, too.

Istanbul is known for all things evil eye. So, I asked my guy if he could get me an evil eye bracelet. Not only did he get me one similar in style to the ones that I once owned, he got me another one that has small evil eyes all around the bracelet. I loved them both when I saw them.

It was raining fairly hard that day. I got soaked walking from the restaurant where we had dinner over to my car.
"I'm wet right now," I said, as my shirt and hair had absorbed some of the rain.
"Of course, you are," he said with a smirk.
"I didn't mean that!" I said. "Then again, I am sitting next to you."
"You're sweet," he said, holding my hand.
We got to the airport. I gave my guy my umbrella so that he could fetch a cart for his luggage. An older gentleman saw our umbrella exchange and smiled.

My guy came back and loaded everything onto the cart. We kissed and hugged. It seems more romantic when it's raining and you're saying goodbye to a loved one for a brief period.

A couple hours later, he called me.
"Hey, is your flight delayed?" I asked him.
"Yes, but only for forty minutes," he said. "I heard that it's pouring in Toronto."
"It was quite the downpour driving home, but I'm safe," I replied.
"That's good," he said.
"You're sweet. Thanks for the evil eye bracelets. I'm wearing one of them now. I love them," I remarked.
"I'm so glad," he replied.
He's thoughtful and sweet. It was nice to hear from him before his flight took off.

Driving, delays, and lunch

Saturday came and went. I anticipated seeing my guy, I did, and he is off on a plane.

He called me at noon.
"I'm about thirty minutes from the restaurant," he said.
"You're early. I'm just heading out the door," I said.
"That's good. See you soon," he said.
I can tell when he is eager to see me. He is known to be late. Today, we reversed roles.

I decided not to take the toll highway, but the regular one. I realize why I like the toll. It took forever to get to the restaurant. On top of that, my fuel light decided to let me know that my car's fuel tank was running low. I went to fill my car up.

My guy called me a couple of minutes after 13:00, which was the time that we had agreed to meet. He knows how punctual I am.
"How far away are you from the restaurant?" he asked me.
"I just pasted the office. I'm about two minutes away. Sorry for the delay. Traffic on the highway was horrendous and I had to fuel up my car," I pointed out.
"It's okay. Take your time," he said.
I arrived at the restaurant and parked. I then walked up to my guy, who was sitting in his car with the door wide open.
"Hey," I said.
"Hey," he replied, getting out.
"You look summery," he said, looking at my Snoopy t-shirt, shorts, and sandals.
"It's warm, so I thought it would be a good look," I said, caressing his nicely shaved head.
We headed towards the restaurant. We were both hungry for lunch.

My guy wants to be spanked

Last Tuesday, my guy and I didn't chat on Skype. My guy was jetlagged and pretty much slept from the time he got back to his hotel room till Wednesday at 07:30. Instead, we caught up on Wednesday.

In the greater Toronto area, we had a snowstorm that started mid-Tuesday into Wednesday morning. I decided to work from home on Tuesday, as I didn't want to figure out whether I should risk driving to work and get aggravated doing it. I typically work from home on Wednesdays, so I enjoyed not dealing with horrific traffic and congestion for a couple of days.

My guy and I had a nice chat on Skype, catching up on things. Due to the snowstorm, I had to delay my already rescheduled service appointment with my new car. It happens.

We talked about how nice it was when we were last intimate. I lightly tapped my guy's bare backside a couple of times. He raised the prospect of being spanked. He is curious to know whether he'd like it.

I told him that I would go easy on him. He has already requested a medium spanking. I like that he wants to explore being spanked.

It has been ages since I have been the spanker. Just the thought of it gets me aroused. Such tendencies aren't meant to be broken!

V is for vacate

On Friday afternoon, I had a dentist appointment. Naturally, my guy calls me, wanting to talk. He had about thirty minutes before he had to head off to the airport.

I called him through Skype on my cell phone, as I drove hands-free from my car. He was to arrive on Saturday afternoon. I asked him if I could meet him at the airport or at the office. He seemed hesitant, which made me sad.
"You don't sound too enthusiastic about my seeing you," I pointed out.
"I would only be there for thirty minutes. I have to clean out my cubicle according to the operations manager," he replied.
"I could help you," I replied.
"You would have to drive a fairly long distance to see me," he advised.
"You don't want me to see you," I stated.
"No, I would love to see you."
"It doesn't sound like it. I have one minute before my appointment. I have to go."
I wasn't too happy after that conversation. My guy noted it.

My guy arrived later than he had expected on Saturday. Both his plane and luggage were delayed. I had a feeling that he would call me from the office. He could sense how upset I was yesterday, especially when he figured out that I didn't bother going to the office to see him on Saturday.

We spoke for a bit. He then continued our conversation from the previous day.
"So, did you want to drive over here?" he asked me.
"There's no point. It was pretty clear yesterday that you didn't want to see me and that we have differing points of view."
I could hear him breath in.
"Okay, next time, I will let you drive all the way over to work to see me for thirty minutes and spend 25 cents on gas [with your hybrid car]."
"Okay," I said.
"I will even let you pick me up at the airport. We can hold hands as we drive back to the parking lot. I can then fondle you."
It's not a flat-out apology, but it's pretty close to one from him.

My guy and I reminisced about our cubicles that were once on the seventh floor of our office building. In January, I ended up moving to the eleventh floor again. My guy either works from home, or ends up in either our training or meeting rooms these days. As a result, he no longer needs his own cubicle.

We have had a lot of fond memories sitting across from each other on the seventh floor. We joked a lot. We did work across from each other. He also managed to fondle and spank me in that same area.

Good memories, indeed. More memories are to come, of course!

Missed lunch date - thanks, Gmail!

It sounds a bit farfetched to blame Gmail for my guy and I missing out on a lunch date today. However, it did happen.

For a while, my guy and I tend to quickly send each other e-mails, asking whether we could get together for lunch. Today, I was hoping for such an e-mail in my inbox, for I was working from home and my guy has sessions all week. So, he would be the one who would best initiate when to have lunch. My schedule is far more flexible.

I didn't get an e-mail from him. I ate lunch at home and headed into the office in the afternoon.

It is rare these days for my guy to leave the training room and come up to our cubicle area just to see me. The sessions that he has with clients can be demanding and they keep him busy. Today, he did just that. He didn't even stop at his cubicle. He came over to see me.

My guy's actions say a lot more than what he verbally says to me. I have known that for quite some time. He's sweet that way.

After we said our usual hellos and such, he continued to talk rather discretely in an open cubicle area, like we normally do at work.
"I came by this morning, but you weren't here," he said.
"Yes, my coming into the office depends on what meetings or interviews that I have scheduled."
"You're so unpredictable."
"I like keeping you on your toes," I explained.
He looked down at my hands. I could tell that he was admiring my manicured nails, which I worked on the previous day.

We talked about how his client sessions were going.
"Are you irritated by the full house that you have this week?" I asked him.
"Yes, with a few of them," he hinted.
"I can tell. You normally don't come up here to talk to me unless you are irritated by them."
He smiled. He told me that he needed to bring down packets of sugar. The fifteen clients did not have any regular white sugar.

I followed my guy unto the communal kitchen.
"I'm not following you. I'm heading to the washroom," I explained.
"I wish you were," he said.
He was looking in various kitchen drawers for sugar. He finally found some. However, he didn't have a bag to put them in. He had thought about putting them in his trouser pockets. I found a coffee filter and suggested that he put the packets in there.
"It's all about presentation," I said.
He transferred the sugar packets over to the coffee filter. Our hands touched. It was nice, on the whole.
"Your hands are freezing!" I said, trying to warm them up.
He laughed. He held the door open for me. I reversed the gesture. I didn't have anything in my hands. He had sugar packets. Instead, I got to gently touch his back.

It seemed odd to me that such a sweet guy, who couldn't be any sweeter, would be holding tons of sugar packets.
"I wrote you an e-mail, asking if you wanted to do lunch."
"Really? I never got it," I said, kind of bummed out. "When did you send it?"
"At 11:40 this morning," he stated.
"I never got it. You sent it to the right address?"
"Yes," he said, repeating my e-mail address to me.
"You know that I would have loved to have lunch with you. Maybe you should call me next time."
We both nodded in agreement.
"There's Wednesday, " he said, bringing optimism to our conversation. "It's my loss today."
"It's my loss, too," I replied.
The look in our eyes said it all.
"You look good," he said to me.
"You do, too," I replied, admiring how great he always looks in blue.
"See you on Wednesday," he said, blowing me a kiss.
"Wednesday, it is," I said, smiling back at him and seeing that he got into the elevator safely.
I went back to my desk. It was 16:30. Guess what? My guy's e-mail was finally in my inbox.

Things don't always go as planned

Well, I am a bit bummed out (no pun intended). Sadly, the wait continues.

My guy wrote an e-mail to me this morning, saying that he wasn't feeling too well. Naturally, he wasn't going into the office, and had to postpone our lunch and dessert date (yes, the latter means treehouse time) today. He felt bad about it.

Of course, I wanted him to feel better. I told him to take it easy and let me know if he was feeling better the following day. I wished that I could kiss him and make him feel back to his normal self. We have been apart for weeks now. Waiting another day won't kill us. I am an optimist, after all.

Unfortunately, my longing for him was more apparent as the day went on. I do miss him.

I know that when I am travelling, I tend to get sick toward the end of my trip. I am not sure why that is, but it isn't surprising. My guy coming down with something doesn't surprise me.

I saw some fact recently that said that sex and cuddling tends to increase your immune system. Here's hoping that we can spend some time to remedy our ailments soon.

Flight, blowjob, and paddling delays

On Saturday, my guy and I were supposed to see each other at the office. The evening didn't unfold as expected.

He called me at around 16:00. I recognized the German phone number. He was still using that SIM card in his cell phone.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hey," he said, which is his typical greeting to me.
"Am I dead?" I asked him. The last time he had called me, he had left a voice message, saying that I was dead. He really meant that I was in trouble, which gets me excited.
"No," he said laughing. "I am in Newark. I have no idea where I am."
"You're in New Jersey," I said. Travelling often can sometimes scramble one's brain for a brief moment.
"My plane is delayed," he said, sounding preoccupied. "I don't think that we have time to get together tonight. I don't feel good."
"Are you sick?" I asked him. I was concerned about him, as the last time he was travelling, he wasn't feeling great.
"No, I'm okay. I just haven't showered in 18 hours. Can we postpone it?"
"I understand," I said.
I was disappointed, but it was a long day for him.

It was rather sweet that he wanted to be clean for him and for me. He is a clean freak. I knew that he wanted me to give him a blowjob once he got back, but wanted to make sure that he was at his best and make our experience more pleasurable. I am sure that he was disappointed, too. You couldn't tell it in his voice, but I understand him well enough that I knew that he didn't want to cancel our plans tonight.

Anyway, we'll try it again, when he is cleaner and well-rested. He was thinking of dropping by the office on Monday and would let me know. I told him that I'd certainly be there on Tuesday, so we have plenty of opportunities next week.

Yes, hygiene is important. Sadly, my purple fuzzy paddle will have to wait before it is finally christened on my backside. It's a good thing that I am a patient girl.
