October panties in November

Hello! I hope that you are well.

To those celebrating Thanksgiving across the border, I hope that it was enjoyable and memorable.

Canadians celebrated in October. I managed to make a Thanksgiving meal (a past post) for my parents and me between two trips. I was pleased because we didn't have a lot of leftovers left over.

I had meant to post my October panties that I got in the mail. Things got a bit busy. I ended up flying stateside twice.

I am not travelling for a bit, so I can attempt catch up with my posts here.

Here's are the lacy panties that I got.

The colour scheme screams Halloween. They are comfy and nice.

April panties

On Saturday, I got new panties in the mail. I love my subscription!

Here's the front:

The fabric is comfortable. I like the lace. It doesn't feel itchy wearing them.

The back looks like the following:

I'm not sure why there are so many pieces to it. Perhaps getting a larger piece of fabric is more expensive than stitching two smaller pieces together to form most of the back? Who knows.

I do like it. It's functional with a bit of lace. I'm happy!

I'm back! I have new panties

Hello! It has been a while.

I returned home on Monday. I have spent a lot of time unpacking, doing laundry, and other post-trip tasks. I did enjoy unplugging to enjoy being in the Twin Cities, but have missed writing here.

Yesterday, I got new panties from my subscription. These panties look comfortable, which I appreciate.

Here's the back:

On my trip, I wore panties that were uncomfortable. I had bought a six-pack of them, thinking that they would be comfortable. I have worn this brand often, but the comfort level of these panties were horrible. I'm now stuck with them and I don't want to wear them.

I hope that all is well with you. I'll be back posting more often.

Shorter workweek and travel plans

It's a short workweek. I thought that yesterday was Monday, so I'm already messed up!

I am planning to travel at the end of November. I am contemplating making it a work-from-across-the-border trip. I'll take a couple of days off to be a tourist and I'll also have the weekend to continue exploring. It'll be a decent mix as I ease into travel, but not going crazy like I used to.

I see more of my friends travelling these days. I feel more comfortable planning travel myself.

New panties

The other day, I got two pairs of panties from a local vendor. Years ago, I got a pair of bamboo briefs for the ex. I never got anything for me.

Recently, this store had an online sale, so I had to take advantage of it.

I got a pair of seamless penguin panties:

Here's the back:

These are the bamboo panties with a roller skates pattern:

Here's the back:

I'm currently wearing the roller skates one. They are comfortable and don't ride up. They stay put, which is awesome!

It's a long weekend here. I took an extra day off, so it's a four-day weekend for me. Enjoy your weekend!

Update on my phone and panties

Things are busy at work. We are less than a month away from a major software release, so it's expected.

My new phone is expected to arrive on Monday now. Although the wait seems like an eternity, I am okay with it. I bought a purple cell phone case online, so I hope that it arrives roughly at the same time as my phone. I still need to get a screen protector. I'm making progress.

I'm exhausted, which was one reason why I decided to skip posting yesterday. However, I wanted to say that my cute panties are so comfortable that I am considering getting a pair each month.

New panties

A few months ago, I joined a panties subscription service. I love it. I get a pair every other month.

Yesterday, I got this one in the mail. The mesh is surprisingly comfortable. It's playful and sexy.

This one will be fun to wear during a self-spanking session.

Anti-blue light-blocking computer glasses

I ordered a pair of blue light-blocking computer eyeglasses. They are non-prescription ones. I am wearing them right now. They are comfortable! We'll see whether they reduce my eye strain.

This week, I have been taking more breaks away from my laptop, which has helped a lot. Luckily, I have two more workdays before a long weekend, so that should help me recover.

Since I have changed my blog's comments access to members-only, the spam messages have ceased. I will keep it on for a bit before I test out going back to the original setting. Exciting!

Speaking to a crowd and not being as petrified as I was in grade 7

Yesterday, I did a presentation online with an audience of twenty people who are my peers, including my manager's boss. I originally thought of creating a PowerPoint set of slides. One member on our team of four just said to present my points that I had summarized as my meeting minutes last week.

Well, I did. He decided to create a PowerPoint for his other group that he was leading. Geez, thanks!

On a good note, my presentation went so well that I have been asked to present it to my entire department. Yes, I will need to create PowerPoint slides. My minimalistic approach wasn't bad at all.

When I was in grade 7 and throughout most of my academic life, I was extremely nervous talking in front of roughly thirty people. I would rehearse a ton before doing any presentation. It helped.

I supposed that my work and life experiences talking within my team, training others, and hanging out with friends pre-pandemic have made me comfortable speaking in public. For yesterday's presentation, I didn't do much rehearsing or preparation work.

It's interesting how things change as you get older.

My new panties are here!

A while back, I had mentioned that I have subscribed to a panty service. Well, my first pair finally arrived in the mail. I love them!

I'm subscribed to Knotty Knickers. I'm on a subscription where I receive a pair of panties every two months. I have started with a pair of panties. You can choose from Naughty (thongs and g-strings), Nice (panties without any thongs), or Sugar and Spice (mixed).

I got these pretty panties with a floral pattern. The packaging is simplistic, but cute.

Here's the other side:

The material is buttery soft. I love the feel. They are high-cut panties. They are comfortable and fit perfectly.

I'm happy with my purchase. I can change the shipment frequency, quantity per shipment, and type of panties that I want. I like it so far.

Sorting my panty collection

Shipments are delayed. It's expected as more folks are turning to ordering items online.

I subscribed to a panty service nearly two weeks ago. I was expected to receive my first shipment last week. I haven't got it yet.

Although I am anxiously looking forward to getting my order, I am a patient person. In the meantime, I'm looking at my current panty drawer and seeing what I have.

I like comfortable panties. I also like lacy ones. I have a good mix of them.

It has been nearly a year since my ex-guy broke up with me. It has been less than a month since I ended a brief stint with my love interest. Looking at my panty drawer more closely has been the furthest thing from my mind.

I'll need to sort it out. I simply threw everything in as storage. I have another drawer for panties that I regularly wear. I need to amalgamate the two drawers and give my panties that I have the proper love that they deserve. I also need to work on self-care.

Self-isolation, self-spankings, and panties

I haven't talked about wanting to be spanked or giving out a spanking for a while. Frankly, when I don't have someone to spank me or someone who wants to be spanked, there is little inspiration.

With COVID-19 around, it is even more difficult to date, and perhaps find that perfect guy who likes spanking and wants to be with me. Self-isolation means that self-spankings are the my safest bet.

The problem is that I'm not in the mood. I get aroused thinking about it, but I simply don't feel like spanking myself.

Yesterday, I signed up for a panty service. This company sends you either one or three panties in each shipment. It's up to you to decide. You can decide on the cut that you like wearing. You can also specify whether you want them shipped monthly or every two months.

The feedback from customers is that these panties are cute, sexy, and are of high quality. Some have lace that is comfortable. Others don't and are cool. I signed up for a panty every two months. Perhaps feeling sexy and cute in a pair will make me want to spank myself and take them down for a harder spanking, too.

I'm looking forward to my first shipment. I'll keep you posted on how it goes, as I have never subscribed to a panty service.

Travel, comfort, and change

I made it safely to the Twin Cities. It has been a long day, but I am happy and still alert!

I like Eagan, a suburb of what seems to be St. Paul. I have found a hotel that I like. It feels comfortable, modern, and cozy.

Perhaps that's one reason why I am still up at this hour. I feel like I'm at home, writing in my blog. I just happen to be in a different city, country, and environment.

Change isn't all that bad. Then again, it doesn't feel like a whole lot of change at all.

Dating and falling in love

Getting to know someone through texts is going surprisingly well right now. It requires some effort, but it has been pretty enjoyable getting to know each other.

He told me that he is starting to fall in love with me. We have been texting daily for nearly two weeks now. It's nice that we have feelings for each other. He's a decent person and we are taking it slow.

I like not being under any pressure. I like that our conversations evolve naturally. We think of each other often.

It's all about taking it at a comfortable pace. It's good.

Slept through the night after physical CPR activities

I slept through the night. I suppose that CPR exercises will do that.

It is strange that construction happens off the side of a highway near this hotel at midnight and continues for several hours. It has been happening since Monday night. The exception was last night. It was incredibly windy and gusty that construction work had ceased.

Here's hoping that it continues tonight. It was nice to get a break.

Despite this odd disruption, I do enjoy being at this hotel. It's incredibly comfortable and feels like home.

What top goes well with palazzo pants for a black tie gala?

On Tuesday, I was asked to be a part of a black tie gala. The main reason? I am a finalist for at least one award.

Here's the weird thing. Apparently, I'm not eligible for this award if I don't go. It's odd to me. I would like to think that it was worded this way because it would look weird to win the award fair and square, and not be in attendance.

Anyway, there is never a guarantee to win anything. I should just go, have free food and booze, and be thankful to have been nominated. However, I have a good feeling that my hard work all last year has paid off.

The bigger concern is what to wear. I don't go to such formal events.

I have two items of clothing that are chiffon and look fancy: a black skirt and a pair of dark brown palazzo pants.

The black skirt is too large on me. I have lost weight since I last wore it a good eight years ago. The palazzo pants fit perfectly and I like how it flows on me.

Here's my question: What top to I wear with palazzo pants? A nice, slightly fitted black sweater? A cap-sleeved sweater with a blouse underneath? I haven't got a clue.

It's the main reason why I didn't jump on being a part of this event. I am not fancy. I like wearing jeans and a t-shirt. I like staying at home, in my pajamas, snacking and drinking pop.

It's only for a couple of hours. I will be okay.

Thoughts being an interviewee

At work, I conduct a number of interviews. I tend to make interviews a conversation rather than an interrogation. I want the interviewee to be comfortable, which allows that person to open up. I then get as much information out of the candidate to determine whether that person is a good fit.

It has been ages since I went for an interview. It's strange to be the interviewee.

For a while, ever since this job opportunity was plopped into my inbox, I have been mixed about the position. I like the idea of being in a new work environment, being closer to home, and having the challenge of learning a new field. However, after being interviewed by four different people on Monday, I still don't feel that it's my dream job.

The person who could potentially be my manager reminded me of my current manager. Both have been in the industry for nearly two decades. Both don't have a good command of the English language. Both aren't good at listening.

I respectfully butted heads with this person. I saw the passion that came out of me. I didn't back down. If they didn't like that about me, so be it. I'm actually pleased that I took a stand.

This person basically said that this position would be a drastic change for me. He felt that I was doing more of a management role than a writing role. He went on to say that at my workplace, there are tons of writers. You lose one and you're fine. At this company, it's smaller. You lose a person and you feel the impact.

I completely disagreed with him. I have lost a writer a year on my team for at least the past four years. Thanks goes to my micromanaging manager. My team loses a writer. I feel the pain of picking up the slack and doing the job of two people. It is my current situation.

He completely dismissed the fact that I am in the trenches, writing daily, doing the grunt work. I hammered that point. He didn't get it. He's stubborn, just like my manager.

Is it worth taking a pay cut to be at a different company with a manager exhibiting similar personality traits and deficiencies? I think not.

I did feel good coming out of the interview. I got along with the woman with whom I had my phone interview. It was good getting back into the interview scene again.

As much as it would be nice to escape my current job for another one, this open job opportunity doesn't feel right to me.

Mushy mode - missing me

My guy is in mushy mode these days. He sent me a sweet e-mail, which I got just before I went to bed last night.

I like how far he has come along since we first met. These days, he is perfectly comfortable telling me that he misses me.
Just wanted to let you know that I'm missing you. Hope I can see you soon.
I like when he emotes and is mushy.

Sweaters, kisses, and cuddling

I love when my guy showers me with kisses. He did that the other day when we were both sitting on the loveseat.

On Boxing Day, we had a discussion about sweaters.
"I love when you wear v-neck sweaters. It makes me think about what I want to do with you and your boobs," he admitted.
"I like v-necks sweaters because they elongate my neck. I feel like I have a short neck," I remarked.
"I don't think that you have a short neck. I have kissed your neck, shoulders, and back. I love every inch of you," he said sweetly.
He is a sweetie.
"Let's move to the bed. We can get under the covers and cuddle," he said.
"Sounds good," I said.
Naturally, we got ourselves comfortable on the king-sized bed... and then some.

Throwing my hat into the job ring

The other day, a job recruiter contacted me. It was for a position at a major cell phone provider.

I decided to submit my resume. The unfortunate thing is that this job is a contract position for a year before you get converted to being a full-time employee. I'm not crazy about losing health benefits for a year. Then again, I could buy my own.

The tradeoff is that I would be working from home. No more long commutes to and from cities. I would save some money on fuel, too.

We will see what happens. Part of me would like a change of pace. The other part of me likes to be comfortable.
