October panties in November

Hello! I hope that you are well.

To those celebrating Thanksgiving across the border, I hope that it was enjoyable and memorable.

Canadians celebrated in October. I managed to make a Thanksgiving meal (a past post) for my parents and me between two trips. I was pleased because we didn't have a lot of leftovers left over.

I had meant to post my October panties that I got in the mail. Things got a bit busy. I ended up flying stateside twice.

I am not travelling for a bit, so I can attempt catch up with my posts here.

Here's are the lacy panties that I got.

The colour scheme screams Halloween. They are comfy and nice.

My colleague and Thanksgiving Day

Last month, my manager decided to give a task to a colleague. I had to supervise her.

This colleague is a contractor. When I first trained her, I noticed that she couldn't follow a procedure properly. She'd do a few steps, skip a few, and resume doing a few.

I didn't get it.

With this assignment, she had to write a document from scratch. She had to poke around a software application on her own and ask questions if she didn't get it.

She isn't good with self-exploration. She never asked for help from software developers. It was to the point where I had to point her in the right direction within the application.

When it came down to incorporating my changes, she couldn't do that successfully. She is not great with details.

My manager asked me to copy him on all my exchanges with her. He was not impressed.

The company is downsizing its staff. Her contract will be terminated at the end of November.

It's bittersweet. As a person, she's okay to hang out with. As a colleague, she is horrible. I have spent a lot of time making sure that she has incorporated all my suggested changes. I shouldn't have to.

The crazy thing is that I recently did a presentation where I told writers to not copy and paste everything you get from developers. What did she do? She copied and pasted everything a developer had provided to her as feedback and didn't bother to at least reword it.

One word: ugh!

It is Thanksgiving Day right now. I am thankful that I have the day off.

Yesterday, I made a Thanksgiving meal for my parents and me. They enjoyed it so much that we all took a nap afterwards... haha!

I love leftovers and look forward to using them up in creative ways.

My friend's final resting place and Thanksgiving Day

A couple of days ago, it was my friend's birthday. She had passed away in January. It was odd not sending her a message to wish her a happy day.

A few hours ago, her daughter friended me on Facebook. She had shared a photo of her mom's resting place. It actually helped me locate the area and lot where my friend is buried. I managed to find a map of the cemetery and pieced everything together.

I am still contemplating plans to head down to the States in late November. I haven't booked anything yet. I need to plan a few things out. For sure, I'm there in December.

It's Thanksgiving Day. I made a Thanksgiving feast yesterday for my parents and me. I have a decent recipe for leftover pastries that I hope to make later on today.

Weekend and food

It's the weekend. Finally!

Last night, I pre-ordered some chicken pot pie samosas. They sound as yummy as I'm sure they taste. I also pre-ordered some lunch at the same store.

Here's hoping that my turkey-stuffing shopping goes well later on today.

Thanksgiving weekend

It's Thanksgiving weekend coming up. I got the vegetable part of my shopping list done on Wednesday. I have the turkey and stuffing to get on the weekend, and I'm all set to go.

I am looking forward to the longer weekend. I like making Thanksgiving dinner. I also love leftovers.

Happy Friday! I'm so glad that there's one more workday to go.

Turkey dinner preparations

Several hours from now, I'll be roasting a turkey and making a few side dishes for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving Day is on Monday, but I tend to do the dinner a day earlier. It's a bit of work, so I'd rather have the actual day to relax.

On Saturday, I got the turkey. It's a 16-pound turkey. It's huge to me. It was the smallest one that I could find at the grocery store! I got it unstuffed, so it shouldn't take as long to roast it.

After grocery shopping, I realized that I had forgotten to buy mushrooms. I went back to get a box. Yay!

Long Thanksgiving weekend has arrived!

This crazy workweek is over. I have a three-day long Thanksgiving weekend!

Next week, I am taking a couple of hours off from work on Tuesday because I worked extra hours. I am then taking a day off on Wednesday to meet up with a couple of friends. I am so exhausted that I need more rest.

Thank goodness for the weekend. Hope you have a relaxing one!

New panties for self-spanking

My new pair of panties arrived in the mail yesterday. My subscription is a pair of panties every two months.

Part of me wants to get a pair a month. Then again, I don't really need that many panties. They are so cute, though.

 Front view:

Backside:

I love the contrast between the pink lace, and black and white stripes. They feel soft and have a decent amount of stretchiness for comfort.

I may need to have them on and slip them off when I go into a self-spanking session. It is the long Thanksgiving weekend coming up.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am a few hours away from flying home. It has been a great weekend in the Twin Cities. I walked too much, though. My legs are feeling it. They were pretty achy yesterday, but some rest has helped.

It hasn't been the best year for me. However, I am thankful for being healthy, and having you with me as I mend a broken heart and get through life. Thanks for all your support. It means the world to me.

Thanksgiving long weekend and voting

Tonight, I am staying at a hotel closer to the airport. It's fun. It also saves me time in the morning getting to the airport. I don't need to do an hour-long commute.

I voted at the advance poll on Friday after work. I won't be able to vote on a Saturday like I typically do. I also don't like voting on voting day. It takes me forever to get back home and it is whenever everyone is scrambling to make their voice heard. I'd rather do it early.

I like voting. I have a say. It makes me feel good after the fact.

This weekend is the Thanksgiving long weekend in Canada. Yes, I'm heading stateside, but it's worth it.

My first Wild hockey game!

I have booked a trip to the Twin Cities. I am finally going to see a Minnesota Wild game.

I lived in Minnesota for a couple of years. I was there during the hockey team's inaugural year.

I couldn't get tickets during my entire time there. I put down a deposit, hoping to get tickets. Well, it has taken nearly two decades. I have a ten-pack of tickets.

My first game is in a few days. Naturally, I can't go, so I'm selling that ticket.

In October, I'm going down for my first game ever. I am so excited. I spent Saturday booking everything, so I'm ready!

A Star is Born

I watched another movie today. I managed to squeeze in A Star is Born at the movie theatre. I loved it. It's another love story with twists and turns.

My guy would love this movie and Crazy Rich Asians, I reckon. He is still experiencing back pain. It's the only downside of our weekend. However, it's nice to know that we are thankful for our patience, love, friendship, and a ton more during this Thanksgiving weekend.

Rough start just before Thanksgiving

My guy is going through a rough patch just before the Thanksgiving weekend. Yesterday, he had back issues and couldn't attend a car event with me. Unfortunately, he isn't doing too well today.

I am at least in his neck of the woods. I arrived here a few hours ago. Here's hoping that I can visit him tomorrow and that he is feeling better.

Missing my guy, getting a new phone, and reducing debt

One week from now, I'll be spending the Thanksgiving long weekend with my guy. I miss him tons these days.

We were both pretty busy this week. He gave an online course all week. I continued working with my students on various tasks. I feel less exhausted this week. However, I came home on Friday after work and took a nap. I rarely crash!

I decided to get a new Google Pixel 2 XL phone, which replaces my dead Google Pixel one. I have been debating waiting for the newer 3 XL model. With a contract, I would be forking over quite a ton of money for it. I only had to pay $200 down for this new phone and I get to keep my existing cell phone plan. I hope to get the phone sometime next week. It's being shipped to me for free and it's also free to activate the phone myself.

These days, I am continuing to reduce the number of credit cards that I have. It's not healthy having so many. I am getting around to having two. Baby steps.

Messed up staycation weekend

My guy (MG) is funny. He texted me as I was in my car on Friday night, about to drive home from the mall.
MG: Hey
Me: Hey, just about to drive home.
MG: Home? I thought you were doing a staycation in my area this weekend.
Me: No, that's Thanksgiving long weekend.
MG: Oh, I see. In that case, drive home safe. =)
Me: Thanks! Have a great weekend =)
MG: You, too. =)
It's sweet that he misses me so much that he got the dates wrong.

Thanksgiving staycation plans with my guy

Good news! I will be spending the long Thanksgiving weekend with my guy. September seems to be breezing by. Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away.

Things are still busy on my end. I get to work from home today, so that'll give me a chance to not talk a whole lot and to catch up on some quiet work.

Knocking on my door to save the day by undressing

I'm back! It was a nice, well-deserved break with my guy over Thanksgiving.

I drove over to his neck of the woods on Saturday. I booked a hotel for us, which felt like a decent staycation. I am also close to renewing my elite membership with this particular hotel chain, so it all works out.

After I had checked in to my room and had settled in, I let my guy know of my hotel room number. He came over in a flash. He knocked on my door. I opened it and let him in.

We hugged and kissed as soon as the door had closed. He grabbed my buttocks and groped them, which I loved.

He took my hand and led me over to the bed. We both sat down at the edge. I caressed his head, which had a bit of stubble. It was soft and nice.

He started to take off his clothes.
"You don't waste time, do you?" I asked him, watching him take off his shirt.
"We don't have much time," he said.
"Are you going to save the world?" I asked him, as he reminded me of a superhero.
He laughed, as he took off his pants and briefs. He then kissed me and gently led me to the bed to stretch out. He then helped me remove my black lacy panties under my short skirt.

It was pretty good welcome. Yes, there's a pun in there.

Thanksgiving weekend with my guy

I am taking a staycation this long Thanksgiving weekend. I am off to spend some quality time with my guy.

Enjoy your weekend!

Impromptu travel arrangements to be with my guy

It's nice chatting with my guy on Skype. He made it safely to Seattle.

It looks like I may be joining him for the long Thanksgiving weekend that is coming up. I am making travel arrangements

It turns out that my guy has lost is driver's licence, so he is stuck without a rental car while he is away. It's another reason why I should be with him.

He is thrilled that I am looking into flights and such. I'll keep you posted.

Happy Thanksgiving!

It's Thanksgiving in Canada!

I have plenty to be thankful for. Thanks for following along, whether for the first time today or for a while. It means a lot.

I still have a sore backside. It is obvious that my guy did a fine spanking job the other night. I am thankful that he loves me and that he enjoys spanking me.
