Good people on a plane

When I flew down to Minneapolis, an older woman sat next to me. She had a tough time finding one part of her seatbelt. I managed to scoop it up between our seats. We ended up chatting here and there throughout our flight.

The sun was shining through the window directly in her face. I asked if she wanted me to draw the small blind down. She liked the sunshine and was okay.

"Do you have family in Minneapolis?" she asked me.
"I used to live in Rochester, just south of it. I'm returning after nearly two years," I replied.
"I'm seeing my son and his family," she shared.
"That's so nice. My mom used to visit me when I lived in Minnesota," I replied.

Towards the end of our flight, I wished her happy times reuniting with her son and grandchildren. It has been ages since anyone has gingerly held my arm as a token of affection. She did just that, which was sweet. She thanked me and was thrilled to finally see them.

Travel seems scary during a pandemic, but there are still stories to tell and good people out there.

Rocketman, affection, and a cold

On Saturday, I went to see Rocketman at long last at the theatre. I loved it. I love movies about music and the lives of rock stars, both fictional and fact.

At one point in the movie, Elton John is on the phone with his mom, coming out as a gay man. She says to him that she knows, "You'll never be loved properly." It was a sad moment on how removed his parents were at dishing out affection.

It made me a bit sad that I don't have a man to dish out affection these days. I also miss the companionship. They are minor for me right now, as I need time to heal emotionally after this breakup. I decided to buy a book on healing after a relationship ends. Although I am doing well under the circumstances, I still have moments of sadness when memories flood in. Having a resource to get me through it doesn't hurt.

I have a slight cough and a stuffed up nose. I am on cold medication and am drinking a lot of fluids. I hope that the extra rest that I'm getting this weekend will help.

The breakup - for the third and likely final time

It has been well over a week. I needed some time to think about what had happened. The problem is that I have been pretty active and busy that I haven't had a chance to grieve.

My guy decided to call it quits. Quits means romantically. He wants to remain friends.

We have been together for years. For me, the withdrawal symptoms of not being affectionate towards someone have been tough.

I am oddly taking this breakup well. In the past, when he previously broke my heart twice, I was devastated each time. I sobbed and cried.

This one still hurts. I tear up now and again. I haven't gone into full-fledge sobbing or a good cry, though. Perhaps he has changed. Perhaps I have, too.

I am more active now than I was the last two times that he broke my heart. I go out of various meetups. I am working on blog posts here and my side projects. Work has kept me busy.

I am only sad at night when I am not on the move. I sit on my bed, look at my purple sheep named Woolly, and go back to the exact moment when my guy gave Woolly to me.

I don't have that feeling of getting rid of all his stuff. I hug my purple plush sheep and I'm good. He is always smiling back at me.

In the past, I had to sever any relationship after we broke up. Part of me still wants to, as it has aleays been easier for me to heal. There were recent periods when I would say hi in a text message to him and I wouldn't get a thing. He would not communicate with me for weeks. I knew that something was up.

I said to him that if we were to be friends, I need better communication. Otherwise, I am perfectly find saying goodbye to him forever. He said that it wouldn't happen. In this regard, as much as he is my best friend, he actually needs my friendship more than I do of his. I will give it a shot. If I hate what we have, I will walk away. I have no regrets.

He didn't break up with me because he found someone new. He just has other side projects going on that love and sex have taken a backseat. I have always been accommodating to his needs. For me, I know that I deserve better. I am willing to find it with someone out there when I am ready.

In the meantime, I look forward to spending time with a good friend this weekend. Work is driving me crazy. My guy and I have had lunch a handful of times over the last 1.5 weeks. We have been good.

He asked me if I wanted a hug last Friday. We hugged. I needed it. It felt different, but it felt comforting.

Kelly Clarkson's song, Stronger, got me out of moments of sadness earlier this week. I will explain more in another post.

I am okay. It is a life shift. I'm not even sure if I can call him my guy here. I will probably need to think of a better name.

My guy is travelling again and I want him

The good news is that my guy is travelling again. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I can accompany him on this trip.

On a brighter note, we get to chat on Skype.
"Is there anything you need while I am in the States?" my guy asked me.
"There's you while you're there," I replied, without any hesitation.
He told me that I'm so sweet.

R stands for reaching for my hand and his butt #AtoZchallenge

My guy considers me to be affectionate. He doesn't realize that he is equally as affectionate.

I tend to be the one who reaches to hold his hand whenever we are together. However, it is especially sweet when my guy does it in public.

When we got out of his car the other weekend, he didn't hesitate to take my hand and walk with me to Starbucks. It's simply a reflex reaction. He even helped me onto the sidewalk to get there. He's polite and sweet.

My guy also managed to get me many cartons of almond beverage that I love. While he was gathering them from his car's trunk, I helped myself to groping his butt. He looked over and smiled. He liked that a lot.

If any of my neighbours were looking, I'm sure that they got a nice view. I enjoyed groping him that day, which was followed by a long kiss and embrace. It was probably the most affection anyone has seen on my street for years!

Shopping for a car, sending a sweet note, and missing me

My guy is looking for a car. He tends to get a used car every three to four years. He is looking to get a manual one, as he is tired driving his nearly four-year-old automatic.

He told me the other day that he was going to look for one and to wish him luck. I replied that I would cross my fingers once I was done typing and wanted to hear what happened.

He wrote me a quick message:
Hey there sweet thing,
The car I saw wasn't that great. I will see other cars. Keep your pretty fingers crossed.
I like when we calls me sweet thing. He also misses me when he says that my fingers are pretty in a message.

He's sweet, despite not finding the right car. I told him that he will eventually. He just needs to continue looking.

Punishment moments after landing?

My guy and I have spent some decent time this past weekend talking on Skype. We miss each other. It showed the first night when we talked for nearly three hours.

He got me off that evening. Afterwards, he continued making me long for him.
"When I get off the plane and see you, the first thing I want to do is spank you."
"Wouldn't you want to hug and kiss me first?" I asked him innocently.
"Of course," he pondered. "But, I want to spank you hard on your bare bottom and punish you for being such a bad girl."
"I'm not a bad girl!" I protested.
"Sure, you are! You are never a good girl and you always need to be punished."
It's pretty romantic to a girl whose backside needs a good spanking. I enjoy our banter. It's sweet.

Trying to make up for lost time and weirdness

It has been an odd week. My guy and I have seen each other as often as we can. However, we haven't had much quality time.

On Monday, we had lunch together. My guy was fighting another cold. On a good note, his cold was on its way out. We are similar in that we don't want to give our sick germs to each other. So, there wasn't any quality time that day. However, it was nice that he fetched me from my cubicle at work, we walked downstairs together, he got his coat, and he drove us to and from the restaurant. It was a nice lunch date.

He tells me that I'm affectionate. I have noticed lately that I do tend to initiate holding hands. I like doing that when we're driving or walking. I reach for his hand across a restaurant table. A couple of days ago, he was at my cubicle, leaning against one of the walls. I went to grab his hand. We held hands for the longest time. It was nice.

We tend not to show affection in the office. We both believe that we should give the impression that we're professional, civilized employees. My guy surprised me the other day.

On Wednesday, I had put in an eleven-hour workday. I was happy to pack up and leave. My guy and I walked to the elevators. Waiting there were three other colleagues.

The elevator came and we all entered. My guy and I stood next to each other at the back of the elevator. My guy reached for my hand. We held hands discretely. I told him yesterday that it was nice. He liked that, too.

Today, my guy and I had lunch at our usual restaurant. He was late and was not having a good day. He had left his wallet at home. Essentially, he was driving without his licence and didn't have any money. I was fine with paying for lunch.

The food and conversation were delightful, as always. We looked at each other lovingly. He was horny. I was, too. We had a quick meeting.

We drove to our usual spot and we both hopped into my car's backseat. He pleasured me. I was so wet and aroused that I practically came immediately after we had kissed passionately for a bit.

We had one of the best tender, hugs in a long time. I love being in his arms. He knows that I love cuddling. We were in each other's arms for a good five minutes and it felt so good.

I managed to give my guy a handjob. His penis was extremely erect. I told my guy that I should have business cards where he could just call me whenever he wanted a handjob or blowjob, or to simply spank me. He ejaculated quickly. There was a lot of semen. I referred to today's handjob as the fountain of cum.

My guy is away on business for the next couple of weeks. Although I don't come into the office on Fridays these days, I asked if we could meet after work this Friday. He agreed. We didn't need to say that we wanted to spend more time together. We just knew that we need each other and need to.

Chinese tea, rescheduled treehouse time, and lunch

I can't help it if I am the type who tells folks when I am in the office. I find it common courtesy to tell others of my availability and whereabouts. Unfortunately, my boss is horrible at telling folks when he's away, unless you strike up a conversation with him and he reveals that information to you. Perhaps it's a guy thing, for my guy is similar.

I came to work in the morning. I had two interviews to conduct. After my second interview, I noticed that my guy was at his desk. He is in a training session all week. I had to walk past him to talk to another colleague. I did manage to strike up a conversation.
"On a break?" I asked him.
"Hi! Yes," he replied, looking at me and checking me out, as he tends to do.
After speaking to my other colleague, I came back to catch up with my guy. He was ranting about a project manager who was slowing down the entire class. I told him that it was a nice change to see that he was aggravated. Normally, I am the aggravated, irritated one.

I could tell that my guy had missed me. The other day, he asked if I was going to be at work for the entire day today. Today, he asked me how late I was going to be hanging around.

I was still at work when my guy returned to his desk at lunchtime. I had made plans to have lunch with a colleague. My guy asked if he could join us. Of course! I offered to drive.

Our colleague left to visit the women's washroom. My guy and I chatted about Chinese tea. I had given him a set of four different Chinese teas as a Christmas present to him. It came in a nice, white wooden box with a magnetic closure. He likes the present a lot. We are both tea drinkers. I also thought that it was fitting, as the tea would remind him of me.
"I like all things Chinese," he smiled, hinting at me. I looked into his eyes and knew that he wanted quality time with me.
"You can enjoy all things Chinese after work tomorrow," I said, as I now had two interviews to conduct that day.
"Sounds good," he said.
What was different was the fact that my schedule dictated when we'd have treehouse time. I normally come into work on Wednesday afternoon. However, I had to make an exception today. My guy understood, although he had planned for quality time today. He didn't seem disappointed, but I could tell that he wanted it badly.

Lunch was wonderful at our local hangout. We all entered the restaurant. My guy held the door open for us. He groped my right buttock, which made me want to melt.

Conversation was nice. My guy and I sat next to each other. My guy reached for my left hand. He touched my hand and fingers. I reciprocated. It was nice having our fingers intertwined.

We had lunch and joked quite a bit. After we had finished eating, I touched and squeezed his right thigh. My guy likes how affectionate I tend to be. At one point, he rubbed his leg against mine. It was hot.

We left the restaurant and my guy lovingly put his arm around me. It was sweet and needed.

I drove them back to the office. I was heading home to work for the remainder of the day. My guy got out of my car, bend down, looked and me, and blew me a kiss.

Although we keep our relationship pretty civil during business hours, it's nice that we can quietly show that we are thinking about and love each other.

Discreet affection at a farewell work luncheon

Two Thursdays ago was the part-time writer's farewell luncheon. This part-time writer, who told me when she was rehired that she "hates writing," decided that she was "not renewing [her] contract." Frankly, it was the best early Christmas present I could have received at work.

She took the job as a means to socialize with folks. I never understood why she returned at first, but it was clear as each month passed that she craved socializing with people. You could tell that actually doing work meant little to her. She took four weeks of unpaid vacation since she was hired back in June. I, on the other hand, have taken two weeks of vacation for the entire year and am carrying over my last week of vacation to 2013.

So, as expected, the part-time writer could not decide where she wanted to go for lunch. It took a project manager to suggest having sushi. She is not the generous type. Whenever we go out for lunch, she does not offer to drive. Although today was her day, she still didn't offer to drive.

I had to stop by the training room to get my guy. I wasn't expecting her to wait for me, along with two other colleagues. Obviously, she wasn't going to attempt to drive at all. My guy was kind to offer. He is truly a gentleman.

My guy sat next to me at the Japanese restaurant. There were eight of us. We were seated in a separate room, but the tables were separated. It was nice to not be seated at the same table with the part-time writer.

My guy is the type who picks up things quickly. He tried using chopsticks for the first time. He asked me if he was holding them correctly. He nearly had it. I taught him how. I also ordered sushi for him, as he didn't know what he felt like. It was sweet that he trusted me.

When we were all done eating lunch, we all talked. I discreetly caressed the back of his left calf and the side of his left thigh for quite a bit.

Two hours later, my guy drove the four of us back to the workplace. I was leaving for the day. The part-time writer asked if I was in the office the follow day, which was her last day. I said no. The funny thing was that my guy had clients to meet with on Friday, so he never got to see her. The other writer ended up feeling ill on Friday. So, it was fitting that no one was there on her final day. She has dropped the ball on numerous tasks, which all three of us have had to pick up the slack.

I asked my guy if he wanted my parking spot. He was game. I hopped back into his car and he drove me to mine.

He asked me whether others had noticed that I was affectionately caressing his thigh and calf. I said that I doubted it. I asked my guy if he was worried about it. He wasn't.

I could tell that he enjoyed my touching him. I would have loved to have massaged his crotch, but that wouldn't have been too discreet!
