Check your credit score

Back in October, I applied for a loan with Spring Financial. I didn't get the approval, which was eye-opening. I was also thankful that I didn't. I ended up getting a consumer proposal and focusing on fixing my finances.

Spring Financial recommended that I go with its plan of taking out a tradeline. It is kind of a loan, except that you pay a monthly fee to have this company report good things to Canada's two credit bureaus about your credit history.

I remember getting digital forms from Spring Financial. I declined signing them. I felt that this tradeline was a waste of money. I'd rather get a secured credit card and have that credit card company report my progress to the credit bureaus without paying a fee.

I went on Spring Financial's site and chatted with someone. I asked whether not signing would confirm that I didn't want the loan. The person said yes.

I had a feeling that it wasn't the case. Sure enough, I looked at my credit report that I get through Credit Karma. It's free, which is why I like it.

Spring Financial created a tradeline account for me on October 11. It reported that I was late with my payments for both November and December.

What?

First, I don't have a loan with this company. I never signed any paperwork. Second, it claims that I have a $5000 loan. I don't. Funds were never deposited into my account. Third, I missed payments for two months. I didn't know that I needed to because I don't have a loan.

A couple of days ago, I went back on Spring's chat. I got disconnected the first time. I got the same representative the second time. I wanted this alleged loan closed. I also wanted this company to fix the erroneous credit reporting to both bureaus.

Well, I got a response from Spring Financial yesterday:

We are reaching out to notify you of an issue we have identified regarding a tradeline created on your credit bureau from Spring Financial.

When you applied with Spring Financial, an account was created under your name; however, due to an error, the file submitted to the credit bureaus included inactive accounts. We have since corrected this and will be sending a revised file to the credit bureaus, informing them of the error. We have directly contacted both Equifax and TransUnion with an urgent request to address this matter promptly, however we have been informed that the update can take up to 30-60 days to reflect on each respective credit report.

We sincerely apologize for this oversight and want to assure you that once the incorrect tradeline is removed, it will have no adverse impact on your credit report or history.

We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this matter. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly.

The wording is poor. I identified Spring Financial's issue that directly affects me. I had to tell you about it so that you could investigate it further. Let's be clear. Had I not reported it, Spring Financial would be ruining my credit rating and other people's credit ratings.

I'll be watching my credit score and report like a hawk to make sure that this issue is fixed. Otherwise, I have no problem following up with Spring Financial. It should not be erroneously reporting to credit bureaus when I don't have any products from this company.

I recommend checking your credit score. You don't want a company ruining your score because it is erroneously reporting details to credit bureaus.

Heat warning this weekend

We've got a heat warning this weekend. We've got temperatures over 30°C, accompanied by humidity. Lovely!

I have a few pickups to do later on today. I'm excited, but will also need to stay cool and hydrated.

It's weird how a week ago, it snowed. It now feels like the middle of summer.

Happy Spring!

Happy Spring! It was a whopping 15°C on Saturday, which was lovely. It made the day so cheerful, complemented by the sunshine.

I spent this evening scheduling COVID-19 vaccine shots for my parents. My dad has his two appointments set up. His first shot is this Thursday. I have pre-registered my mom. She's six years younger than my dad, so she has to wait for a bit.

Leafing through magazines and memories

Last night, I found stacks of magazines as far back as 2005. It has been therapeutic throwing them out.

I end up leafing through the magazines before I chuck them out. It's nice to have a snapshot of what things were like years ago.

Some goodies include the following:

• A flyer from Zellers. The final two Zellers stores that remained in Canada closed a couple of months ago.
• A billing statement from Columbia House Canada. Yes, I loved subscribing to that service and getting CDs
• A rather heavy December copy of the Mpls St. Paul Magazine. I also managed to get a paper cut from it.
• A few credit card statements that served as bookmarks. I'm happy to say that all those accounts have been paid off and closed.

Finding items to use at home and making tons of iced tea

One more workday before the weekend. I am looking forward to it.

My doing spring cleaning and reorganizing various parts of my home has made me find items that I should use more often. I am using a heart-shaped bar soap, liquid soap, and a bath sponge in a gift box that I had never opened until now. They are all nice.

I am a tea drinker. Being at home, I drink a lot of iced tea these days. When I was in the office, it was always hot tea.

I love my tea collection. I bought a ton of tea when I went to London, UK and Istanbul, Turkey several years ago. I also have various tea varieties that I have bought locally.

There are some positives working and staying at home. Naturally, I miss people and being able to move around without distancing myself from others.

Warm, sunny evening, with few people around

After work yesterday, I did my usual grocery run and picked up some takeout before coming home. It was 13°C outside. Sunny. Warm. There was a breeze.

It was such a nice evening. Hardly anyone was out. It still seems odd, but it's becoming the norm.

I will do another grocery run on Saturday. I hope to get a turkey for Easter. The leftovers will last for several meals. I don't get tired of eating turkey. I've had it twice already this week.

Weather fluctuations causes wardrobe confusion

These temperature swings are maddening! Last Saturday, it was 7°C as a high with rain. On Wednesday, I went out for a break during the day, as I work from home. The temperature reached a high of 27°C.

I am confused as to how I should dress. On the weekend, I had a light winter puffy jacket, a winter hat, mitts, and Sherpa-lined shoes. On Wednesday, i went outside in a short-sleeved t-shirt, lightweight jeans, no socks, and sneakers.

It's almost like we skipped spring. Weird!

Teaching and spanking

My guy teaches a course during both the spring and fall sessions. It's good because the educational institution isn't far from work. It's pretty much equidistant from where we both live.

"What would happen if I showed up in your class?" I asked him.
"It would be similar to your showing up at one of my training sessions at work. Your presence would make my day," he admitted.
"You're sweet," I replied.
"You would definitely make teaching more interesting. I would make you stay after class and spank you for being a bad student," he said.
"When is your class starting?" I asked, with both of us grinning at each other.

It's nice that we both like to fantasize.

Sweet reminders of my guy when he is away

At work, most of us have lockers that are on wheels. Many folks who get moved from one software development team to another tend to roll their lockers closer to where they sit.

In my case, I have been practically on every team that you can imagine. My locker has always remained where it currently is. I can't be bothered rolling it.

The other day, I decided to do some spring cleaning. I waited until most folks were out of the area, so I could go through everything and toss out items that I no longer needed.

I felt good after I was done. I didn't need to keep resumes that I had printed out of prospective candidates. I decided to take some tea out of my locker and place it on my desk. They are tea flavours that both my guy and I purchased.

My guy's thoughtfulness appears in my locker. I have many teas that he had brought back from his travels to Istanbul, Dubai, and Chennai. I also have a couple of his training guides. Unfortunately, our company still likes printing out training manuals, so he can't share his soft copy of the materials.

I miss my guy already, but appreciate his gifts to me. He is always thinking of me when we are apart. I am thankful that he is in my life.

He told me that he got me the purple sheep plush toy so that I could cuddle it like I do with him. He does help. As always, the real deal is always best.

Neck kisses and nipple nibbles

My guy loves when I wear a black bra. The sight of the black straps against my skin gets him excited.

The other day in the treehouse, my guy unzipped my jacket and started kissing my neck. I love when he showers me with kisses. He was wonderfully soft lips.

He exposed my black bra from under my grey v-neck sweater. He immediately took my left breast out of my bra and started sucking on my nipple. It felt like heaven. He then did the same to my right nipple. I love how hard my nipples get and how he plays with them while sucking on them.

He told me after our quality time that he looks forward to the warmer weather. It makes me break out the shorts and skirts. He likes the look of my bare thighs and gives me more access to play with me.

Spring and summer can't come any sooner.

Packing, Spring cleaning, and scanning a paddle

I have finally finished packing. Yep, it's just before 01:00.

It's nice to finally be on vacation. I have been pretty productive, which seems a bit odd.

I spent most of Friday cleaning up at home. I threw away old magazines and I have another bag of clothes to donate. Although it is still icy and snowy outside after yesterday's storm, it felt like a good Spring cleaning day to me.

On a good note, I found my trusty leather paddle. It is safely in my suitcase.

I wonder what those security folks do when they scan suitcases. Mine would be interesting with a paddle, a dong, and some restraints.

Perhaps those security folks don't even blink at such items anymore.

Travel plans, a dong, and a skirt

Today is my last workday before I go on vacation. Naturally, my last day has to end with a storm containing rain, sleet, freezing rain, and snow. Welcome, Spring!

My guy and I fly off to Seattle on Sunday morning. He booked us on an early flight. Perhaps I should spank him for that.

Our plan is to meet at 06:00 to catch a taxi from our workplace to the airport. I have decided to book a hotel close by, which doesn't cost me a cent. It's nice to have points to burn. So, I get to sleep in a bit more than if I drove from home.

My guy is working from home all this week. Yesterday, he reached out to me over our work instant messaging system. He misses me. He wanted to take a break from doing his taxes.

I was impressed that he was doing his taxes fairly early. I did mine a couple of weeks ago. I surprised myself doing them in March. I normally do them in mid-April.

My guy asked me the other day to bring the dong that he had purchased from Amsterdam. I also have a short skirt to pack, among other fun items.

We can't wait!

Walking through the park and thinking of being spanked

The weather is gorgeous these days.

A month ago, I drove to Montreal and it felt like early spring. The following day, it snowed.

For the past couple of days, Toronto has bypassed spring and it feels like summer. It is so humid that my face is breaking out as if I were a teenager.

I really can't complain, though. I'd rather experience warm summer temperatures than snow.

My guy and I were talking about how great the weather has been. As Canadians, it seems to be the norm.

"It's a beautiful day," he commented. "I'm with a beautiful woman to enjoy the weather."
"You're sweet," I replied, holding his hand as we walked through a park.

My guy noticed the park bench.

"It would be great if I could put you across my knee sitting on that bench and spanking you."
"Would you spank my bare bottom with both the sun and your hand beating down on me?" I asked him.
"Of course."

I held his hand tighter. He then side-hugged me and discretely groped my right buttock as we continued to walk.

C is for cutting bangs

This past weekend, it was fairly nippy outside. I had to wear my knitted winter cap. Wearing this article of clothing isn't unusual these days, considering that it has been a cooler spring than the norm.

I have always had bangs. My bangs certainly needed to be trimmed. With the hat on, I could barely see.

So that evening, I decided to cut them myself. I think that I cut them shorter than I normally do. The good thing is that I won't have to trim them for a while. The bad aspect to trimming them so short is that I feel that they are actually too short.

Anyway, my guy is in the office this week for a few days. He is attending a seminar, which is a change from delivering one.

On Tuesday, we missed each other. We were supposed to go for lunch, but I was away from my desk when he had pinged me. Instead, my guy thought that we could talk after work for a bit. He had to leave to go to an appointment, but still managed to squeeze in some time.

We talked in one of the lunchrooms at the office. He was hungry and was heating up some oatmeal. I was hungry, too. He offered to share his oatmeal with me, but I didn't want too many carbs in my system to make me feel sluggish driving home.

He noticed my clear gel nail polish and loved how my nails looked. We chatted about our day for nearly half an hour.

My guy is perceptive. He told me that my bangs looked good, which made me look good. He is sweet.

We're going to try having lunch on Thursday. Yay!
