My guy is back!

My guy's flight was scheduled to land at 18:30 on Saturday. I got a call from him at 18:05.
"Hey! Your flight must be early," I said to him.
"Yes, I just landed," he said, with a tone in his voice implying that he was happy to hear my voice.
"Oh, no! I'm not at the office yet," I indicated to him.
"It sounds like you're driving. Take your time, sweetie," he told me.
"Okay! I'll see you soon, sweetie."
It's a good thing that I am a pretty punctual person. I managed to get there before he did. He walked over to my car and opened the passenger-side door.
"Hey!" I exclaimed.
"Hey," he replied. I reached out to hold his hand.
"You're woolly!" I replied, admiring his maroon wool sweater under his jacket.
"Yes, I am. I see that you are wearing a skirt... or are they shorts?" he asked me.
"It's a skirt," I said.
We got into the backseat, which would be the first time that we are truly christening the new treehouse.

My guy handed me a bag of goodies:

  • From Budapest, he got me a boomerang. I will obviously need to try it outdoors.
  • From Ireland, he got me a Shaun the Sheep plush toy and a doorplate with my name. He thought that the former would be perfect for me to cuddle with. The doorplate is nice, as it has Ireland on it.
  • From Cairo, he bought me more Egyptian Turkish delight, which looks like a dong, but it's really fresh walnuts with Turkish delight wrapped around it.

My guy is sweet. We spent a bit of time hugging and kissing before my spanking.

Packing, Spring cleaning, and scanning a paddle

I have finally finished packing. Yep, it's just before 01:00.

It's nice to finally be on vacation. I have been pretty productive, which seems a bit odd.

I spent most of Friday cleaning up at home. I threw away old magazines and I have another bag of clothes to donate. Although it is still icy and snowy outside after yesterday's storm, it felt like a good Spring cleaning day to me.

On a good note, I found my trusty leather paddle. It is safely in my suitcase.

I wonder what those security folks do when they scan suitcases. Mine would be interesting with a paddle, a dong, and some restraints.

Perhaps those security folks don't even blink at such items anymore.

Travel plans, a dong, and a skirt

Today is my last workday before I go on vacation. Naturally, my last day has to end with a storm containing rain, sleet, freezing rain, and snow. Welcome, Spring!

My guy and I fly off to Seattle on Sunday morning. He booked us on an early flight. Perhaps I should spank him for that.

Our plan is to meet at 06:00 to catch a taxi from our workplace to the airport. I have decided to book a hotel close by, which doesn't cost me a cent. It's nice to have points to burn. So, I get to sleep in a bit more than if I drove from home.

My guy is working from home all this week. Yesterday, he reached out to me over our work instant messaging system. He misses me. He wanted to take a break from doing his taxes.

I was impressed that he was doing his taxes fairly early. I did mine a couple of weeks ago. I surprised myself doing them in March. I normally do them in mid-April.

My guy asked me the other day to bring the dong that he had purchased from Amsterdam. I also have a short skirt to pack, among other fun items.

We can't wait!

D is for driving

I am taking an extended Easter weekend off. On Good Friday, I drove from Toronto to Montreal.

It has been roughly six years since I was last in Montreal and drove to the city. Things are different:
  • Traffic congestion is horrible, especially around Ajax and Whitby
  • There are more provincial rest stops
  • I passed by at least three outlet malls along my drive
I drive a Prius. I can drive to and from Montreal on a single tank of gas when I am not driving at the speed of light. I took my time getting to Montreal and made it well under six hours.

The hotel that I am staying at is by the airport. It is comfortable and has a kitchenette. I have already cooked myself dinner. I knew that I wouldn't want to drive myself over to a restaurant, so I decided to bring some groceries along. Even if I didn't feel like cooking, there is a restaurant in the hotel, and an incredible selection of restaurants by the movie theatre a block away. I will do some sightseeing tomorrow and Sunday.

My guy flies in on Sunday, so we'll have a few days together. He had a list of items for me to bring. I was a good girl and brought all of them:
  • A short skirt
  • Purple nail polish
  • A black bra
  • A leather paddle
  • Restraints
  • A dong
  • Strawberry oral gel
It'll be a fun trip!

Vacation and toys

I haven't blogged as much this week. Work continues to be busy. I also had to cram in some extra hours.

On Friday, I had to conduct an interview with my manager. Within our entire organization, we all have to fill out our performance reviews, which takes a chunk of time to recall what you have accomplished within the last eleven months.

I am on vacation as of now. It's about time.

I have been packing my suitcase in phases. I am finally done. All I need to do is get myself to the airport and hop on a plane twenty hours from now.

My guy and I have been talking over Skype often this week. He isn't adjusting to the time difference all that well, which is a bit surprising. He generally is not jet-lagged when he travels to European countries. I am hoping that I may be able to help him out once I am there.

He is pretty sweet, despite being sleepy when we talk. He has been counting the days until we see each other. He has never done that before.

He also has a wish list of goodies for me to pack:
  • Flavoured oral gel
  • Leather paddle
  • A short skirt
  • The dong that he bought for me from Amsterdam
He's demanding, but it's all for a good cause.

The next time I blog, I will likely be in Istanbul. If I am bored out of my mind waiting for my flight, I may surprise you by sneaking in a post.

Have a great weekend!
