A haircut and a horny ex

I finally got my hair cut on Saturday. It has been six months since I last had it cut.

My theory holds true. For the last three months that I have been working from home, I have had my hair tied back in a ponytail. Both my hair's length and the fact that I had it tied back caused a lot of hair loss. Throw in some stress and it got worse.

Tonight, with my much shorter hair, I washed it. My hair loss is significantly less thus far. Yay!

After I wrote my post last night, I got a series of texts from the ex-guy. He was horny.

I haven't responded to him. I have nothing to say other than it was his loss for letting me go.

  1. I miss a lot of things, too, but life moves forward, not backward. He needs to look for someone he can build a new relationship with, one where he can use the learning experience he had with you. Hope you find someone new who loves you as much as he says he does.

    1. I agree. I miss lots of things, but it's not healthy receiving such messages from him because he's horny. I hope to find someone new, too. I'm still not ready, especially diving into the scene earlier this year and ended up with someone who was bad news.

    1. I hope that he's stops, too. He hadn't contacted me since last April, which made me extremely upset. His text messages didn't make me upset. It made me think that he's a horny jerk.

I hope you do not dislike male comments on your site, but here goes anyway. I have commented previously on your ex; and I do not mean to cause you any additional pain, but he is an insufferable ass!! Like yourself I was born in the sign of Cancer and I know how our unseen sensitivity can cause undue suffering. So, take some advice from an old man. Find someone new who will love and comfort you and get this boy, (he is not a man), out of your life once and forever.

    1. Hi, Rick. I have always appreciated your comments and I agree with you. He is an insensitive jerk. I am oddly not all that upset with his texts this time around. It's good to hear from a fellow Cancerian.

I hope to find that new someone down the road. I'm still not ready to meet new people, especially with a pandemic happening.
