The ex wants to have dinner with me

Last night, the ex wrote me an e-mail. He is now teaching at a college in my city. In other words, he commutes for two hours to get there.

He let me know that he teaches there every Wednesday. He wants to have dinner with me.

I did not have a great experience dining with him over three years ago. He broke up with me and I was clearly upset.

I'm not sure how happy I'd be seeing him. There is nothing enticing about meeting with him.

He said that we "always have a good time" together. Nope, that's not true anymore.

I feel that he's delusional, often referring to the good times, but ignoring how I feel and not addressing it.

I haven't responded. I don't know what to make of his message.

Three years being single

Today marks three years since my ex-guy broke up with me. Time flies. It also heals.

I still think of the memories that we had. I also think about how wrong it was for me to be with someone who wasn't the best fit for me. I am in tune with my emotions. He wasn't and probably still isn't.

I severed my connection with him on a number of applications, including Skype. I recently saw that he wanted it re-established on Skype. I haven't.

Although I miss having a special someone as my partner, I am not ready. And, that's okay.

Reflective and relaxed

I'm stateside. All is well.

Being on vacation has made me extremely reflective. Being on a plane makes me think about my current and past friendships and relationships. Songs lyrics make me nostalgic, happy, sad, and more. It has been therapeutic.

On a good note, I am eating well and experiencing new places to eat yummy food. It has been great so far.

Seeing my ex-guy's car triggered bittersweet memories and emotions

It took one basic trigger to make me feel sad about the demise of my relationship with my ex-guy. After work on Thursday, I was walking over to my car and saw his parked in the lot.

Memories came back. I last sat in his car to go out for lunch in early July. Although we never had quality time in the backseat of this car, it was a reminder that cars were an important part of our relationship.

We haven't talked since early June. I have basically shut communication down.

He doesn't know that I have a new car, so he likely thought that I wasn't at work. Even if I did tell him about it, I doubt that he would have wanted to contact me at work, if he had a chance. I'm glad that he hasn't. It would also cause me to feel sad speaking to him.

As of late, I have been pretty upbeat. I am sensitive, though.

Seeing his car on Thursday was a bummer. It's the downside of dating a colleague and your relationship ends, but your employment at the company does not. Luckily, he doesn't come to the office often. Still, seeing his car in the lot for a brief period conjured bittersweet memories.

I'm better now that I have written my thoughts in this blog post. My blog provides a source of comfort, to sort out my thoughts as I continue to get through this breakup.

More aggravation with the incompetent colleague

The incompetent colleague continues to prove that she is not the brightest tool in the shed. I had had it with her on Monday.

On Friday, she asked a manager for information. He responded that same day. She asked the same question first thing on Monday morning, which made him respond by saying that she didn't need to ask so soon. Before all of that, I had indicated the same thing to her.

She cannot think for herself. She can't assess any situation. She just sees a task on a checklist and does it. Ugh!

What annoyed me even more was that she proceeded to ask the same manager for a different set of information. I had explained that I had all this information for the last two team meetings. It means that our entire team has all that information. She doesn't pay attention. She continues to show everyone that she cannot comprehend simple things.

And, she constantly talks without listening. I had a short fuse on Monday and told her to stop it.

She is to be let go. The problem is working at a company that has tons of procedural nonsense that needs to be done beforehand. It's at my manager's manager level. It likely means that it will take another month before she leaves the company.

I am surprised that I am not committed at a mental institution by now.

She also is indifferent when it comes to emotions. I've never met anyone like that. There is no compassion there, which is odd to me.

Movie night full of cuddles

Whenever my guy travels, he watches a ton of in-flight movies. A while back, he told me that he had watched Creed. He thought that it was okay. I asked why. He couldn't explain it until I asked whether it moved him. It didn't.

I am doing a staycation in the same city in which both my guy and I are employed. It's a nice suite with a kitchen. It's cozy.

My guy and I spent part of our evening cuddling and watching what was on TV. We decided on a movie. It was Rocky Balboa.
"Did you like the movie?" my guy asked me after it was over.
"I did. It had a nice, emotional build as the movie progressed. How about you?" I asked him.
"I liked it, too. Having you watch a movie with me always makes it better," he said, being his sweet self.
I have missed watching movies with him, cuddling, eating popcorn, and just being together.

Lunch, congestion, emotion, and a handjob

A couple of Wednesdays ago, my guy and I went out for lunch. We couldn't meet after work, so we opted to have a pleasant chat over food.

We always have fun when we chat at our usual Chinese restaurant. Now and again, my guy reverts to being a horny boy, lusting after the girl that he wants and needing relief. He's charming that way. This lunch hour was one of those days.
"Can we have a quick meeting at our usual spot?" he asked me.
"Are you sure?" I asked him.
"I want you so badly," he explained.
Of course, today was just the worst time of day to drive over to our usual spot. The two main arteries near our spot was reduced to a single lane due to construction. It was a slow crawl to get there.

The next challenge was that our usual parking lot was being repaved. We had to find a different spot elsewhere. At one point, while we were parked and talking in the front seat of my guy's car, a construction worker came over and told us to move.
"We can move to the other side of the lot," I explained.
"We'll be here for a brief time," he said, hinting at his hard cock slightly resurrecting itself within his pants.
He wanted me to jerk him off. I was game. His erect penis was exposed for me to wrap my hand around it and do what we both enjoy.

My guy loved that I was able to talk dirty to him while looking like everything was okay. At one point, I was on the lookout for more construction workers.
"Is someone coming?" my guy asked me.
"There's a construction working walking near us. He has two (coffee) cups from Timmy's," I reported.
"He doesn't have nice cups like you do," my guy remarked.
He is better at emoting these days.
"I love you," he said to me.
"I know. I love you, too."
"I love you so much. I don't ever want to lose you. I can't lose you again."
Moments later, my guy ejaculated all over my hand. Everything was lovely.

Lunch suits us both well.

Being on business makes my guy emote more than usual

My guy will be on the road for another 1.5 weeks before I see him again. It can be rough at times. We miss each other's company. We both miss the physicality of being together. We miss chatting in-person.

We were hoping to chat tonight on Skype. Unfortunately, he had a rough day on the road.

Although he doesn't emote as much as I do, he is slowly coming around. He specifically logged on to Skype just before he was going to hit the sack. He has never done that before.

He logged on simply to wish me a good night. We sent instant messages for the next fifteen minutes. He wasn't down in spirits, but I could tell that he wanted to talk. The unfortunate part was that it was midnight his time. We have a six-hour time difference.

He tends to end his e-mails these days with kisses as the closing salutation. It's different and it takes getting used to, but I like it. I prefer it over cheers. He used the same thing before we ended our chat tonight.

I miss him. I know that the feeling is mutual. Otherwise, he wouldn't have logged on for that brief period just for us to wish each other sweet dreams and such.

Anyway, my next post will talk about a chat we had on Sunday. We both made up a scenario in which we'd like to act out down the road. And yes, I get spanked in it, of course!
