Compatibility when waking up in the morning

When my guy and I were in the States, his phone would wake us both up. He had to go to work and he set his alarm for 7 am.

We are different. I hear an alarm and I get up automatically. He hears an alarm and hits the snooze button a few times.

The first time I heard his alarm on this trip, I woke up. I went into my usual wakey-wakey mode with him.
"Wakey wakey!" I said to him.
"I want to snooze," he said.
"How many times?" I asked him.
"Four times," he replied.
"That's a lot," I noted.
When his phone's alarm when off the fourth time, I put his phone on his head.
"You're mean. We aren't compatible," he whined.
"Do you want to break up?" I asked him.
"No. You're such a morning person and I'm not," he whined.
When it was finally 7:48 am, he woke up, got out of bed, and got on with his day. He's so boyish.

We suggested that he set his alarm to 7:30 am. He was much better after that.

Of course, on the weekend, he forgot to turn off his alarm.
"Alarm, sweetie," I said to him, which prompted him to turn it off.
I do miss seeing him snooze all day. He loves his sleep so much. I love sleep, too. I just am not a snoozer like he is.

Waking up and wrestling

My guy flies off to Seattle later on this morning. I offered to drive him to the airport, but he said that it would be too early. I would be meeting him at work at 07:00.

We had a fun chat just now.
"Have a safe flight and don't snooze your alarm!" I told him.
"I'll try not to," he said.
"You can't!" I replied.
"You know me too well," he said, laughing.
"I do, more or less. Otherwise, I'd have to say, ''Wakey wakey!'," I noted.
"Yes. I'll then wrestle you," he remarked.
"I like when you do. The aftermath is fun!" I noted.
"True," he said without hesitation.
I'll miss him. I'm glad that he is travelling on business again, though.

Texting with my guy on a snowy Sunday afternoon

I woke up to a couple of nice messages from my guy. He knows that I like sleeping in on weekends.

My guy loves to sleep. I tend to greet him with wakey, wakey. He reciprocated today, which was sweet.

It was snowing all over the greater Toronto area. It's still snowing as I type!

On Sunday, I went out in the early afternoon with a friend to exchange Christmas cheer and gifts early. My guy (MG) texted me while I was walking into a store.
MG: How is your snowy day excursion going so far?
Me: Good. Shopping and in one piece!
MG: One piece is good
Me: How are you doing?
MG: I made it to Moldova
MG: You wanna chat a bit?
Me: Good
Me: Sadly, I can't chat. I'm with a friend
Me: Am I in trouble?
MG: No worries
MG: We can do that tomorrow
Me: Yay!
MG: Happy shopping
Me: I can be a good girl
MG: We'll discuss that tomorrow
Me: Thanks! Hope you have a good evening.
Me:  No, me good girl!
MG: Thanks
MG: You're sweet, pretty, sexy.... etc., but not good
Me: Mr meanie!
MG: That is me
My guy is definitely in a good place. He doesn't have to deal with wintry weather for a week.

Wakey wakey versus wacky wacky

Last week at work was pretty hectic. I was supposed to work from home on Friday, but got sucked in to a team lunch thanks to my manager.

My guy (MG) had already indicated that he was going out for lunch with a bunch of colleagues who were in the same training session as he was. However, we both didn't know that I would be in the office until I broke the news to him in an instant message chat.
Me: Just thought I'd say hi and wakey wakey.
MG: Thanks, Cutiebootie. Your wakey wakeys are always welcome :)
Me: I need a wakey wakey today, too!
MG: Are you sure that you don't need a wacky wacky?
Me: I'd like that, but I'm good =?
MG: Not even close
Me: Yes. Me = good!
MG: You = good at work
Me:  Nooo. If I were bad, I'd be sore all week. It hasn't happened. So, I'm good!
MG: We could fix that sometime today.
So, yes, it was a wacky wacky afternoon for us.
