Compatibility when waking up in the morning

When my guy and I were in the States, his phone would wake us both up. He had to go to work and he set his alarm for 7 am.

We are different. I hear an alarm and I get up automatically. He hears an alarm and hits the snooze button a few times.

The first time I heard his alarm on this trip, I woke up. I went into my usual wakey-wakey mode with him.
"Wakey wakey!" I said to him.
"I want to snooze," he said.
"How many times?" I asked him.
"Four times," he replied.
"That's a lot," I noted.
When his phone's alarm when off the fourth time, I put his phone on his head.
"You're mean. We aren't compatible," he whined.
"Do you want to break up?" I asked him.
"No. You're such a morning person and I'm not," he whined.
When it was finally 7:48 am, he woke up, got out of bed, and got on with his day. He's so boyish.

We suggested that he set his alarm to 7:30 am. He was much better after that.

Of course, on the weekend, he forgot to turn off his alarm.
"Alarm, sweetie," I said to him, which prompted him to turn it off.
I do miss seeing him snooze all day. He loves his sleep so much. I love sleep, too. I just am not a snoozer like he is.

Sleepyhead who likes to snooze

It has been fun watching movies in bed with my guy. He has watched more movies than I have, so it's great getting recommendations from him. We end up cuddling, which is heavenly.

He has a tough time getting up in the morning. The alarm on my phone backs up his. He likes hitting the snooze button multiple times. I am up the first time that I hear the alarm.

The other day, he had a difficult time waking up. I ended up putting his phone on his head. It was on vibrate for ten minutes. It wasn't until I told him what time it was that he was alert and got ready for work.

He's my sleepyhead. I love him for who he is.

Teasing my guy in anticipation for a spanking

My guy works from home when he is not on the road. One benefit is that he can sleep in. He admitted to me that he gets up at noon these days.
"I'm a night owl," he told me.
"I know. I'm a night owl, too. The difference is that I can get up without hitting the snooze button so often that I need to replace the glass on my phone," I hinted.
"I can't wait to get you over my lap and spank you for that remark," he threatened.
"Me, neither," I replied.
It's enjoyable teasing him and getting myself in playful trouble.

Waking up and wrestling

My guy flies off to Seattle later on this morning. I offered to drive him to the airport, but he said that it would be too early. I would be meeting him at work at 07:00.

We had a fun chat just now.
"Have a safe flight and don't snooze your alarm!" I told him.
"I'll try not to," he said.
"You can't!" I replied.
"You know me too well," he said, laughing.
"I do, more or less. Otherwise, I'd have to say, ''Wakey wakey!'," I noted.
"Yes. I'll then wrestle you," he remarked.
"I like when you do. The aftermath is fun!" I noted.
"True," he said without hesitation.
I'll miss him. I'm glad that he is travelling on business again, though.

My guy being late for work and wanting to spank me harder

My guy and I were to have a lunch date on Friday. I changed it up a bit. I decided to ping him on our internal instant messaging program to ask when we'd go. Normally, he initiates. He needed ten minutes.

We were both concentrating so hard on what we were doing that we both lost track of time. He called me from the lobby of our building about forty minutes later. He apologized. I said that I would meet him downstairs.

When we did, we walked out of the building and towards his car. I had to ask whether he remembered where his car was. He told me that he did, which is a pretty good start for a directionally challenged guy.
"How come you didn't park downstairs?" I asked him on a 30°C day.
"I came into work two hours late," he admitted.
"What happened? Did you wear out your snooze button?" I asked him.
"I turned off my alarm on my phone," he said.
He is such a sleepyhead. I told him that he was on the wrong side of his car. He should let me drive. He told me that it was a nice try.

My guy's car has leather seats. We both sat in it and I felt like my butt was being lightly fried.
"Was your butt sore for a while after I had spanked you last?" he asked me.
"Not for two long. Maybe a day," I replied.
"I didn't spank you hard enough. I will soon," he observed.
"No, I'm a good girl," I insisted.
"That's not true. You are always my bad girl."
I like being his bad girl. It's just fun to simply state that I'm good.

Snoozy guy

My guy is such a sleepyhead. He typically hits the snooze button on his phone's alarm app at least three times. The other day, he did it for an hour and a half.

He even asked the front desk at the hotel where he is staying up to give him a wake-up call. Apparently, the phone has a snooze button, too.

I asked him over Skype whether he felt rested snoozing both the alarm on his phone and the hotel phone.
"I was so tired. I had to," he explained.
"You're such a sleepyhead," I said to him.
"I know. I'm snoozy."
So, he continues to give me more nicknames to call him by. He's now snoozy.
