More snow!

It's snowing. It's so peaceful looking at the snow falling.

It's supposed to be a two-day snow event. Here's hoping that all is great.

Quiet Canada Day

I spent Canada Day at home. It was nice spending a quiet day at home.

Later on, I'm out and about. It'll be a fun next couple of days, at least.

Trying to use up my vacation from last year - a problem I never thought that I'd have

Today is my last workday before I go on vacation for just over a week. It's not that I want to. I have six vacation days that I didn't use up in 2020. I need to use them up by the end of this month.

I would normally be thrilled to take time off. I'd be travelling somewhere. Ontario, the province in which I live, is under lockdown. I can get groceries, fetch takeout, do curbside pickup, exercise outdoors, and that's about it.

It's funny. I originally thought I had five days of vacation. I realized through doing a calculation that I had an extra day. It's amusing to me that I am not thrilled about taking time off during a pandemic.

Then again, I have been working hard for two weeks. I trained a new intern and got my regular work done. I also dealt with my dear friend's passing, so I'm okay with taking time off for me.

I will likely continue reorganizing things around the house. I did some of that tonight. It felt therapeutic.

Cookbook and charging adapter from Amazon Prime Days

I participated in my first Amazon Prime Days event. I typically don't have a thing to buy. However, there were a few things that I wanted this year.

One was a vegan recipe book. I'm not vegan. The fact that the recipes are dairy-free suit me, as I'm borderline lactose-intolerant.

I got a charging adapter that has more electrical outlets, including three USB ports. I installed it in the basement. 

This charging adapter is perfect. It has a screw that stays put when plugged into the wall outlet. I needed it and solves my issue with any plug that wouldn't stay plugged in. Yay!

I have always liked when a good, hard spanking leaves me sore for at least a day. I am at that stage right now.

When I'm driving, I can feel the soreness, especially when I go over speed bumps. When I go to sleep, I wake up on my side because it hurts to sleep on my back, with my butt pressed against the mattress.

I do miss being spanked by someone. However, I'm pleased about last night's birthday self-spanking. I look forward to doing it again when I am horny and my current soreness subsides.

Sore bottom finally stops smarting, with references to Fifty Shades of Grey

When my guy spanked me recently, he told me that he was going to spank me so hard that it would be uncomfortable for me to sit down for a week.

He came pretty close to being correct. It has taken nearly four days for my sore backside to bounce back to normal. He did a fine spanking job.

I like when it's the first day after a hard spanking. I can tell that my butt is sore when I go to bed sleeping on my back and wake up on my side. It simply hurts too much to have my bottom pressed against my bed mattress for such a long period. I end up automatically shifting to my side.

It was also sweet that my guy wanted to see Fifty Shades of Grey, the movie, with me over a month ago. I got to point out all my favourite scenes. The line about if Ana were Christian's, that he'd make sure that she couldn't sit down for a week, is the same gist that he said to me last weekend during my spanking. I loved it.

After my spanking, my guy told me that he still hates Christian. He was furious that Christian was treating sweet Ana, who obviously loves him, like dirt. My guy was still outraged. I had to tell him that Christian doesn't know how to interact with women well, so he comes across as being cold.

My guy seems even more passionate about the movie than I am. It's nice.

The aftermath: a sore, achy bottom

My guy did a pretty good job the other day. He spanked me well.

Normally, the soreness disappears after a day. There is a bit of soreness left from the spanking that I received on Wednesday. It's day two.

I wrote him a brief e-mail yesterday. I had one line that said, "Being a lucky girl with a sore backside forces me to walk around more."

He responded to my e-mail by saying, "Hope all is good and you're not as sore. :)"

It's cute that he says after he spanks me that he doesn't want to hurt me. He hasn't. I can take what he can dish, as I know how much pain I can tolerate. He'll know when I can't take it.

I love being sore after a decent spanking. It shows how well the spanking was done. I feel good. I feel loved and I am happy.

I get to see my guy next Wednesday. The soreness that I am experiencing now will be long gone by then. I expect that he will use the slotted bamboo spoon on my backside next and I will have more to say about how sore my butt will be late next week. I am looking forward to it.
