Asobu skinny mini insulated bottle that glitters

I found an eco-collective store earlier this year. It's awesome. I love having laundry detergent strips that are especially perfect for travel.

The other day, I was talking to a friend about insulated bottles for beverages. She recommended an Asobu skinny mini bottle. It fits in a purse, which I love.

I remember seeing it at the eco-collective store. I decided to head back to this store today.

I found this bottle that keeps hot drinks hot for twelve hours and cold drinks cold for 24 hours. Cool!

Originally, I had my eyes set on a pink glittery bottle. The owner was so nice that he showed me a purple-blue glittery bottle. I loved it so much that I didn't even need to think about getting it.

I love this new insulated bottle.

Panties

I received my panties from my ongoing subscription in late December. I was sick with a nagging cough and completely forgot to post them.

I got this red pair. I like the little bow at the front with a small jewel. It does have sheer parts, which I love.

The back is sheer:

These panties are comfy. I don't have many red panties. These ones are cheerful.

I am expecting a new pair this month. I look forward to seeing what I get next.

Happy shopping outcome

The weekend is here. Yay!

I have some errands to run later on today. I made a decent shopping list. Most of the items are food! Here's hoping that I get everything that I need.

On a slightly different note, I had placed an order online for an item with a small business that I frequent often. I got to exchange e-mail messages with the owner. I had ordered a plushie. She said that there was some glitch on her end and it wasn't available. I got a refund.

However, there was a larger version of the same plushie that she had, but wasn't listed on her site. I got it without tax. It was such a lovely outcome that I didn't expect. She has always been nice to me and it was such a nice gesture to have the tax knocked off.

Great customer service from a small, local store that has survived this pandemic. It's one of many reasons why I return.

A surprise connection dealing with my retirement savings accounts

On Thursday, I decided to call my bank to make an update to my retirement savings account. I got a nice man on the phone who took the time to explain everything to me.

I am doing a couple of moves. I'm updating my savings portfolio within my retirement savings account. I am also transferring two other RRSPs (Registered Retirement Savings Plans) from a bank that I despise over to my current bank.

At the end of our call, which was the first phase, he noticed my place of employment and said that his son had finished a year of his internship at the same company. I asked what the his son's first name was. When he said it, I was delighted. I worked with him closely over the past year. We were on the same software development team.

He let me know that his son has a job lined up after he graduates from university next April. I was thrilled, as he was concerned about getting a job and asked me for help. His dad was appreciate.

Small world, huh?

Tea steeper - work anniversary has arrived!

Roughly two weeks ago, I picked out a tea steeper as my ten-year work anniversary gift. I was given a delivery date of late October. Well, I got it on Monday.

Early is great. I'm not complaining one bit!

The tea steeper is fancy. I love it how it looks. I haven't tried it out yet, but I'm looking forward to. I love small appliances. I'm also a fan when it's free!

Trimming pubic hair

An hour ago, I trimmed my pubic hair. It's oddly relaxing. I do it once a month.

Years ago, I never did it. When the ex-guy broke up with me for the second time, I decided to trim it. I don't believe in shaving it off with a trimmer. It just screams ingrown hairs and I don't want to deal with that issue.

Trimming is good. I use a small pair of eyebrow scissors. It doesn't take too long and I find them easier to use than a regular pair of scissors.

It's all a matter of preference. I can't see myself going hairless in this area. A good trim makes me feel good.

Interns and coincidence

For the past year, I have trained and worked with my intern. He has three days left before his work term is over.

During this same period, we have also worked with another intern. This one is a software developer.

Yesterday, I had a call over our lovely chat tool to talk about what could be his final contribution in his work term. Like my intern, this one is equally as bright and hard-working.

I took the time to say that I have enjoyed working with him. He appreciated it. He said that my intern has always spoken highly of me. It was nice of him to say.

I liked his story about how he was driving his girlfriend home one evening. He found out that his girlfriend and my intern live on the same street. Small world!

Getting smacks for helping him unload items in his car's trunk

My guy and I had a decent late lunch or early dinner, depending how you look at it. We had delicious food (spicier than usual) and great conversation. In less than an hour, we were out the door.

We headed over to our cars and drove to the office. I asked whether my guy would be okay, as he was getting sleepy in the restaurant. He went to sleep at 6 am. On a good note, he is on Turkey time already.

He got to the office parking lot before I did. I had to deal with a confused driver in the parking lot.

I parked next to his car. He had four items to put into my tiny car. Luckily, everything fit. I took his small suitcase and rolling computer bag out of his car's trunk.

My guy always tells me to stand there and not lift a finger. My back is a bit flaky and he always feels that he should do the heavy lifting. I feel awkward standing there, so I end up taking some lighter items out of his car's trunk.
"I told you to look cute. I can take care of lifting everything," he said to me.
"I just wanted to help," I said, loading an item in my car.
"You're such a bad girl," he said, walking past me and giving me a smack across my right buttock.
"You're so mean," I said, smiling at him.
"What am I going to do with you?" he asked rhetorically, loading another item in my car and giving me another smack across my left buttock as he passed by.
It's fun when he enjoys being Mr. Meanie.
