Working overtime

Yesterday, I put in a fourteen-hour workday. It's all thanks to three software developers who could not get the software deployment steps right until noon.

I have a deadline to get a draft out today. They added an extra eleven pages of content and revamped two major sections of this document.

Yeah, I'm not pleased with the extra hours that I have put in. On a good note, I hope that I can take Monday off with the extra hours that I have clocked.

My tarot reading post will need to wait. I need to rest my eyeballs.

My guy said that I can drive his manual car!

It has been practically a week since I last wrote. All is well.

I am spending my evenings talking to my guy on Skype. Our timezones differ by an hour, so we chat at night. It tends to cut into my time blogging.

The other night, my guy and I were getting it on during our chat. It was wonderful. We were lethargic afterwards.

My guy is thinking about buying an older Volkswagen Beetle, which would be a manual car.
"Oh, good. I can drive your bug once you get it," I said.
"You can do whatever you want," he said.
It helps that he lusts after me. I can make him agree to anything, including finally driving a manual car. Go, me!

O is for oh no, oh yes, and orgasm

This post is a hodgepodge of thoughts and recent experiences.

A couple of Saturdays ago, my guy and I had to catch our flight out of Seattle. My guy took 1.5 hours to get out of bed. This part is the oh-no repetitive thought that was in my head.

I kept nudging him, poking him, telling him to wake up, and more. Eventually, he did get up. My guy pleasuring me and making me reach orgasm perhaps helped.

It was tight getting breakfast in, checking out of the hotel, walking over to the parking lot to get our respective rental cars, trying to find a gas station to fill up, and returning our cars. Of course, it took more time to take the shuttle from the rental place to the terminal, check in, go through security, and figure out which gate to go to.

While lining up to go through security, my guy polished off my bottled water. He was then crushing the plastic bottle with his hand as if it were a stress ball. I looked at him, giving him the stop-that-it's-annoying look. He looked sweet, as if he were a little boy who could get away with anything.

By the time we had walked up to the gate, we were boarding. Thank goodness!

We were not seated together when we flew from Seattle to Chicago. We did sit together for our final segment home. This is the oh-yes part. It was nice to hold hands, chat, kiss, and cuddle.

It was a great week together. The oh-no part is what we are experiencing these days. My guy is travelling on business for another three weeks. This week is the first and we miss each other. However, it won't be long till we're together again.

Y is for Yes (also known as Mr. Meanie)

My guy called me from the office on Saturday. Although he would never admit it, he had hoped that I would be waiting for him at the office. He didn't seem too enthusiastic about my wanting to be there when we had spoken on Friday, so I decided not to.

I got a call from him because I wasn't my usual loyal, predictable self. He didn't seem to want me there, but started to change his tune. When I wasn't waiting for him with open arms on Saturday, I got his phone call.

I got as close to an apology as I will ever get from him. Next time, I can even pick him up at the airport. I think that he is slowly realizing that I do enjoy spending time with him, even if it is something that seems so insignificant like picking him up at the airport.

Part of it is the fact that he is a guy. He is old-fashioned to some extent. He doesn't want me to spend so much time driving across several towns to get to work just to see him for a brief moment. To me, it is worth it and it is not a huge deal.

I could tell that he wanted to see me when he asked if I still wanted to drive to work. I politely declined. He understood.

The problem is that if I constantly press seeing him under such circumstances, it becomes the norm. I change it up a bit and he feels the same way as I do. He truly does miss me equally as I do whenever he is away on business.

I asked him if he was jet lagged.
"Sort of. I think that my memory is fading a bit today."
"Nah, I don't think so. As long as you know your name, that's all that matters," I reassured him.
"Well, my name starts with Y and has an S somewhere," he said.
"So, your name is Yes," I stated confidently, which made him chuckle.
"Yes, indeed."
I tend to call my guy Mr. Meanie when we are role-playing and he ends up spanking me hard. He was a mean guy by not knowing whether I should come see him at the airport. I think that he has learned his lesson.

I can tell that he missed seeing me. The following day, he wrote me a nice e-mail, asking how I was and telling me about his day.

On Monday, I got to the office and saw my desk drawer slightly ajar. I pulled it out and noticed a present waiting for me. He had bought me an M&M's collectible item with peanut M&M's from Abu Dhabi. It was sweet of him. He made my day and probably my entire week.

He does know how to make up for being mean and indecisive. Yes, Yes does.
