Seeing myself in my friend's conversation

I have been sitting here, trying to figure out what I want to write. It's not that I haven't got a topic. On the contrary, there's a lot going on in my head that I really don't where to start.

Work is busy. I noticed the other day that my friend had to interact with our incompetent colleague. I could swap my friend out for me, and it's the same song and dance.

At one point, my friend said to her, "Don't twist my words." I have said something similar to her on multiple occasions. I apparently told her to do something when that never happened. She is delusional.

I look forward to the day when I do not have to interact with her. I don't enjoy talking to her. I don't like hearing her talk. Her thoughts are jumbled and incoherent. I don't even like to say goodnight to her when I leave work. It's that bad.

My friend spent some time venting to me on Monday. It's mutual that we vent and listen.

Changing how to secure my Sirius XM satellite radio receiver in my new car

I have a Sirius XM satellite radio receiver. In my old car, I had to get a car vent clamp to secure it. To make a long story short, I was introduced to Sirius XM radio with my first Prius. It was integrated in the car.

When I switched from my second Prius over to my Scion iM, there was no satellite integration in the latter. I have the same issue with my new car.

Perhaps it's a blessing in disguise. I can't use my vent clamp for the vents smack in the middle of the dashboard. My navigation screen has buttons that are compact. This radio isn't compact at all when you look at the cable connections.

I can't put my radio on the far left and right vents of my car, either. I decided to use another Scosche Magic Mount holder for this radio, which works nicely. I already have one for my phone that I have been using for years. The two magnetic mounts are within the same area, with my phone mount a bit lower than the satellite radio's mount.

It's nice when I change things around. My satellite receiver doesn't look as bulky using the magnet and the magnetic mount. Yay!

I am loving my new car. It's nice to have a fun distraction.

Venting is needed over an incompetent co-worker

There is never a dull moment at work. Never.

Last Wednesday, I was working from home, as I tend to do on Wednesdays. My manager sent me an instant message just after 09:30. He rarely comes in that early, let alone pings me on that application so early in the day.

He told me that a writer has resigned. I had a ton of thoughts flood my mind.

This writer has been with the company for over three years. As much as I am thrilled that she has found employment elsewhere and can only wish her well in her new position, I can't say that I will miss her as a writer on the team.

It sounds harsh. However, for the time that she has spent with the company, she has never successfully installed our product software. Frankly, she doesn't understand how our software applications work. It is a problem, as she needs to clearly write about them.

She has a difficult time expressing herself. Again, it has always been problematic and it shows in her work. She makes mistakes. She gets the information from software developers and basically places it in her documentation without fully understanding what it means.

She isn't a writer. She is more a data entry person who just wants to call it a day when 17:00 hits. The last intern who was here knew more about the product software than this writer did!

It has been clear for over a year that she does not like what she does. Frankly, she should have left the company a lot sooner.

I asked her on Friday whether she has a job lined up. She told me that she does. She also told me that "we'll see" how she does in the new job.

I found her reaction to be odd. If I were about to embark on a new job, I would be excited. I didn't see, hear, or feel any of that enthusiasm from her.

She wasn't a good fit on our team. My manager hired her. I knew within the first week of training her that she is dependent on others to tell her what to do. She isn't an independent thinker. Moreover, she is not a technical person, which is difficult when you are expected to write about technical topics.

This next statement may seem uncharacteristic for me to say. I do not want to pick up her workload. I have been doing that already with the writer who left last November. I clearly cannot do that again with another writer. I am overloaded.

A few weeks ago, I got annoyed at my manager for stating that I do more because I "earn more than the other writers." I do not think that I need to do even more than I do, which is the equivalent of two writers, simply because I make more money that the other writers. I make more money than they do because I have a graduate degree (they don't) and I have more writing experience than they do. In short, I am at my current salary because I have earned it through hard work and experience.

Anyway, my guy and I have talked about this issue. We have both decided to focus on what I enjoy doing, which is training and working with co-op students, and writing. Someone else on the team needs to pick up the slack, as I have been doing it all the time. I back up writers who go on vacation. When I go on vacation, I do not have a backup.

Life is unfair, which isn't a newsflash. However, I should not be the one who always suffers because we are short-staffed and there is a hiring freeze taking place.

I actually feel a bit of relief that this writer is leaving. She is the one who decided to shun me from having lunch with the rest of the team in the past. I haven't enjoyed talking to her about anything since she treated me that way.

She tried to patch things up when I came back from my last vacation to Seattle. I was actually talking to another writer. She decided to hang out with us and join our conversation. Why now? I didn't even want to share what I did on my vacation with her. She didn't even want me to have lunch with her. I am thankful that I don't. I can't be around that negativity that she possesses.

Anyway, I am done with venting. Thanks for reading along. I will have a more cheerful post soon!

Music lessons, skirts, and compliments

My guy and I had a terrific chat this evening. We started off with a video that he had found online.

The video had a young girl at a piano, who was being instructed by a male teacher. He started touching her hands, making sure that her piano fingering was correct on the ivory keys. He then touched her arms, started kissing her neck, and then groping her breasts. At first, she was in shock and was resisting him. Eventually, she was enjoying his advances and succumbed.

It was an intriguing video. I like the idea of resisting a spanking, but eventually caving in and getting a hard spanking. I also like when the guy that I am about to spank playfully resists, at first. It turns me on.

The piano teacher in this video also groped her buttocks, which heightened my arousal. I love having my backside groped.

A few days after my guy and I had made out, and he had spanked me for the first time, I was in the kitchen, washing my tea mug. He groped my buttocks. I loved it. I told him that today. I told him that it was hot.

Tonight was the office Christmas party. We both decided to skip it. He said that we were having our own intimate party.
"You don't want to be on the dance floor of the ballroom, groping someone?" I asked him.
"The only person I want to grope is you," he said in his own sweet way.
"Well, maybe we can set up a private dance floor here and you can grope my backside as we slowdance," I hinted.
We both liked that thought.

The other interesting idea that we floated around was having anal sex. Both of us have not done it. Frankly, I'm not sure if I want it. I can understand how it makes sense to spank my backside and then have him look at my red cheeks as he enters me. However, I'm sure that it'll be a tight fit for me. I'm not sure if I'm ready for that kind of pain.

I did, however, like when he was spanking me one time and pressed himself against my buttocks. Sure, it's not even close to anal sex, but his rubbing his erect cock against me felt good against my sore backside. He likes my butt, especially seeing it in a shade of red.

We proceeded to talk about all the music classes that I had taken as a young girl. There was my viola teacher. I had said something cheeky in class in elementary school. My viola teacher had a baton. The end of the baton had this rubber, round knob. He walked by me and swatted the rubber knob over my right buttock cheek. It hurt like crazy. I have never forgotten it. It's quite the turn-on now.

My guy asked me if I wanted my viola instructor to touch me afterwards. I said that I didn't at the time. I was probably eleven years old. In a fantasy role for me as an adult, I'd love if my guy would touch me while teaching me to play the viola. It's similar to the piano teacher scenario. There's a piano bench that would be perfect for a spanking.

I then talked about being seventeen years old and walking with my friend to play at a recital at Convocation Hall in Toronto. We were wearing our marching band uniforms, consisting of a red, short plaid kilt, a white blouse, a black tie, a red blazer, black knee-high socks, and black shoes. We walked over a set of subway vents on either College Street or University Avenue. Our skirts blew up. My friend was embarrassed. I wasn't. That was my Marilyn moment, except that I am far from being a blonde. My guy laughed.
"Some folks must have briefly seen two girls and their panties at that moment," I said.
"I'm sure the guys enjoyed looking at you," he deduced.
"They just got to see my legs," I pointed out.
"You have great legs," he said.
"Thanks," I said politely.
"You have nice calves. You have athletic legs," he pointed out.
"All my friends had stick-thin legs. I don't look good in skinny jeans because I have rounded calves," I explained. "I have legs like a cyclist, where the muscles bulge outwards."
"You have great feet, too," he continued. "I'd love if you wore high heels and I could touch your feet, legs, ..."
"And I can rest my legs on your lap?" I asked, which turned him on. That was a yes.
I felt special. I like the thought of having him touch my legs after I have been thoroughly spanked by him. He did that a few weeks ago, running his hand from my ankle up to my left buttock. Skipping the party was the best decision we had made today.

Taking a much needed break now by addressing ongoing comments from a disappointed visitor

Hi, all! I have lots of updates to make. It has been a really busy year for me. I need to respond to ongoing, negative comments from a "frequent" visitor.

I have received a number of e-mails from one particular person who doesn't quite understand why I don't update this blog as often as he would like. He doesn't get the fact that I have taken five graduate courses this year on top of working full-time, switched jobs, and continue to attend to my family. In a nutshell, I'm tired of hearing about his "disappointment," and he is obviously too thick to realize that if my blog is such a downer for him, why does he continue to pester me with his negative remarks and, in a bizarre lack of logic, continue to visit my blog?

Perhaps he thinks that by trying to get under my skin, that I'll "please" him by posting something that is "satisfactory" for him. I'm sorry, but you're out of luck there. With school, work, and life, I had to drop a number of things that I love doing temporarily in my spare time. This blog was one of the casualties.

I also got the impression that this person feels he can "demand" what he wants to see on my blog, as if he's a paying customer. I feel like I'm a broken record. I write because I love to write. It's what I do for a living. I have an interest in spanking and love to share what I've been through, as well as get feedback from the rest of you out there. I would love to write more often. My priorities have shifted. I want to get my master's degree. I want to do well in my fairly new job. I want to have a happy family life. The spankings still happen. I just need to find some time to jot them down and share them.

Perhaps you might understand where I'm coming from now. I doubt it, though. If you are "disappointed," move on. Change. I don't want to hear the same "disappointment" crap from you. You obviously crave attention. You've won. Happy?

Your comments disappoint me. How does that make you feel hearing your mantra from someone else? You disappoint me because you have the need to tell me that I'm doing a bad job at updating my blog. I've explained at least three times now why I don't update it. It doesn't sink in.

I really did not want to address your negative remarks in a blog posting. I am giving in to your huge ego to be "acknowledged." Maybe you need a good spanking over my knee. The thing is that you don't deserve such fine treatment from me.

Oh, and your comment about how no one wants to visit my blog because I don't post anything interesting is wrong. I haven't posted anything since August, but I still average approximately 70 visitors a day. Not bad. You obviously return, so something here must spark your interest, right? And, no, the "success" of a blog isn't how many people comment on a posting, as you think it is. Although I don't update as often as I'd like, I believe in the quality of what I write. I'm frank. I'm sharing my thoughts and experiences. In my eyes, my blog is a success.

I have thought about posting your last nasty comment to me. You'd win again. I won't let that happen.

Thanks for letting me vent. On to more happy spanking tales.

Hugs,
Cutiebootie
