Food perk pics

On Saturday, I got my food perk.

The first photo has my pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw, cornbread, and pickle slices:

Everything was delicious. The woman who helped me with my perk was so nice and awesome!

Here's a close-up shot of my pulled pork sandwich:

I had a wonderful experience!

Break and food perk

The weekend is here. Yay!

I took a mini break from blogging. It was good. All is well.

Later on today, I'm picking up a food perk. I'm looking forward to a pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw, and cornbread. I'm salivating just thinking about it.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Eye appointment, cafe stop, and writing advice

I visited my ophthalmologist yesterday. All went well. I go back in six months, in my usual monitoring mode. I'm happy.

I got to visit my favourite cafe next door. I was so happy getting a raspberry white hot chocolate and an albacore tuna sandwich. Yum and yum!

A fellow writer at work in California reached out to me asking for advice. I'm not sure how she found me. I hope to ask her that question next. She's apparently new to her project.

I'm all packed and ready for another road trip

I feel like I haven't settled since I returned on Sunday. I'm packed at long last.

I am not bringing as much on this trip. Instead, after I get my rental car, I am buying pop, water, and soy beverage. I probably need some snacks.

On Friday, I used another two Groupons. I had a fantastic deli sandwich with fries and another dessert. Later on today, I use up my final Groupon. Yay!

My next post will be in Montreal. I hope that you have a great weekend!

Early for breakfast - getting to the truth with a kiss

My guy asked me on Monday whether I wanted to grab some breakfast. I had already eaten, so I wasn't hungry.
"It's strange that you have time to have breakfast with me. Normally, you're running late when you head to the airport," I pointed out.
"I've changed. It's the new me," he said boldly.
"There isn't a full moon. You love sleeping in. I don't buy it," I said to him.
"Here's the truth," he explained.
"Ah, ha! I knew it!" I exclaimed, which made him smile.
"My friend needed a ride downtown, so I woke up early and now I'm here with you," he said.
He had finished eating his fried egg breakfast sandwich. He walked over to dispose of the wrapper, but ended up groping my breasts and kissing me down my neck before getting to the garbage recepticle.

After getting rid of his sandwich wrapper, he approached me from my left and kissed me. I love when he does that.
"You look especially cute and sexy this morning," he said, sitting down.
"You're pretty good to look at on a Monday, too," I noted.
I like when he stops by the office, especially to perk up a mundane Monday.
