Copycat diva, night guard, and two years being single

I returned to work yesterday. I dislike dealing with a diva who can't word things herself and can't think for herself. She actually copied and pasted two sentences of mine in her e-mail aimed at two other people, and copied me on it.

Wow. Such a jerk.

My call was correct. I didn't even bother waiting for her e-mail to be sent out to seek confirmation from others. I knew what to do. She didn't.

I am picking up my night guard later on today. I'm looking forward to it.

Today marks two years since the ex broke up with me. It has taken me a long time to heal. I am finally there after kicking him to the curb and telling him not to contact me. I am proud of myself for being the one who didn't want him in my life in any form.

Tires, masks, and long weekend

Well, my appointment to pick up my new nightguard at the dental office is now on Thursday at 10 am. Yesterday, I only had my car maintenance appointment to go to.

It was pretty straightforward. I got there, checked in, waited for my car, and it was done in roughly an hour. I have all-season tires on my car again.

The only downside was seeing a customer take down his mask twice. The duration was minutes each time. I stared him down both times, but he was too stupid to understand why I was annoyed. The signs clearly say to wear a mask at all times indoors. What a jerk!

My long weekend is now over. At least my workweek is three days in length.

Clean teeth and thoughts about coughing up funds

I have clean teeth.

Before getting my teeth impressions for my night (mouth) guard, my dentist noticed some "potholes" in a couple of molars and patched those ups. You could see a bit of the dentin, which was scary. It was a cost that I wasn't expected, but I managed to have enough in my emergency fund to handle it.

With my nightguard, the office wanted a deposit for $200. I told her that I didn't have that much. Instead, I managed to put down a deposit of $68 dollars. It costs well over $400 for it. I frankly feel that the restorations and cleaning are my down payment, along with being a patient for nearly two decades.

I'm not a fan of paying up first. I frankly feel that the office is making sure that it gets paid immediately and inconveniencing customers. I learned that I don't need to file the claim myself -- that the office still does it. It doesn't jive with the woman's explanation when I pressed her about it last week. She said that the office was short-staffed. Yet, you can still file claims on behalf of your patients. Interesting...

I dislike policies that only make sense to a business and don't benefit patients.

Dental appointment and an emergency fund

I've got a dental appointment later this morning. I'm having routine cleaning and an impression done to get a mouth guard. I grind my teeth at night. My current mouth guard needs replacing.

In the past, the dental office would submit claims on my behalf. During this pandemic, it now requires that I shell out the cost first, and then submit my claim to get reimbursed. It's quite the hardship for customers who don't have the money available. I have been fortunate to have established an emergency fund, so it'll temporarily pay for this cost and I'll put the money back in this account once my claim is processed.

I'd say that nearly two years ago, I never had an emergency fund. I have come a long way.

A handjob and a hug to avoid my driving his car

Teasing my guy over how possessive he is about his car is fun. It shows how playful we are.

On the weekend, I was cold in the treehouse. He had no choice but to start his car, as my hands were colder than his. This situation is fairly rare.

I didn't mention that, after he had spanked and pleasured me, we cuddled for a bit. My hand automatically rested on his crotch.
"You're mighty hard," I said, in a relaxed tone.
"I am," he admitted.
I was playing with his hard cock in his pants as if it were a manual stick shift. I shifted gears, which was enjoyable.
"I'm in third gear," I said proudly.
"You drive me nuts," he said to me.
"I'm playing with your nuts, too," I joked.
I wondered whether his jeans would split open because his hard member seemed to be expanding by the second. He had no choice but to pull down his jeans and underwear, and let me play with his erect penis.

I gave him a handjob. He liked the visual of my licking his member like a popsicle. I like to call it a cocksicle these days. You would think that he couldn't get any harder. Nope, it happened to my delight and surprise!

He did reach orgasm. I feel proud that I helped out. We cleaned up and cuddled some more.

When it was time for us to head our separate ways, we both got out of his car.
"I will now drive your car," I said, making a move to get into the driver side.
My guy has pretty good reflexes. He pulled me over to him, and we kissed and hugged. He then shifted me a bit.

When we separated from our embrace, I looked at him.
"You shifted me because you wanted to stop me from driving your car, right?" I asked him.
"Yes," he said sweetly, standing in front of the driver's side of his car, as if he were guarding it.
"I love teasing you," I said, looking sweetly at him.
"I love being teased by you," he said, knowing that it's true.
We hugged and kissed some more before we drove home in our own cars.
