Errands, including package pickups and Whole Foods

On Saturday, I ran a number of errands. I had a few packages to pick up at the post office. I also had an Amazon package to pick up at Whole Foods.

I like Amazon hub lockers. You simply scan your barcode that you get in an e-mail and the locker magically opens up. You take out your package and leave. It's great.

I haven't had a locker door open up and hit my face. That's my worst nightmare.

I then got groceries at Whole Foods. Hey, I'm here anyway. I might as well. I bought four items and they came up to $36.

I always find that I'm broke when I shop here. At least I like how unique the items that I get are.

X is for Xpectation

When I first learned of Prince's passing, I thought it was a hoax -- a sick joke. Unfortunately, it was true.

I was first introduced to his music when I was in grade 5. I had never heard any of his songs actually sung by Prince himself, though. When I went to Cantonese school, there were two older students who were constantly singing "Little Red Corvette" and "1999" in class.

A year or so later, I heard songs from Prince's Purple Rain album. Hit after hit came from that album. I loved it all. He was a brilliant artist, performer, and individual.

I am not sure whether he is truly responsible for my love for anything purple. I am proud that I lived in his home state of Minnesota for a couple of years.

He released 39 albums. I suspect that he had many more to offer. He left this world too early. Folks in heaven are blessed to have him.

One of his albums was Xpectation. I love this album because it is completely instrumental. All songs on this album start with the letter x, which is fitting for this part of the challenge.

This album also represents an album change that you'd expect from Prince. He did whatever he wanted to do. He loved branching out. He was a creative artist.

Someone has posted the entire album on YouTube:

Take time to listen to it. It is a relaxing album to unwind to.

I won't list my favourite Prince songs, as there are many! I will offer a couple of tidbits about a couple of singers that I loved from my teen years:

  • Cyndi Lauper's "When you were mine" was written and originally sung by Prince.
  • The guitar opening that you hear on Madonna's "Like a prayer" was performed by Prince.
May he rest in peace.

Z is for zipper (new) and zap (update)

When I did a similar a-to-z blog challenge nearly a year ago, I chose zap to be my z word theme. Although I could have done it again for this post, I will provide an update on my zap post and go right into this challenge's z word.

I was at the dollar store the other day. I got some nice goodies that make perfect spanking implements. I will share that soon.

Last year, I wrote about electric paddles that emit a zap. These paddles are for getting rid of flies and other pesky bug in the summer. They have also been used as spanking implements. Coincidentally, I found them at the dollar store. One was even in purple, my favourite colour.

Part of me does not trust getting such a device from a cheap dollar store. The other part of me is curious to try it out as part of a spanking. I am still debating purchasing it.

Anyway, this post is my last of the challenge. It has been fun and pretty challenging to try and not duplicate the same batch of word themes that I have used in the past.

I have a fascination with zippers. These days, I tend to buy articles of clothing with uniquely placed zippers.

For a while now, I own a purple sweater that has a functional zipper on my left shoulder. My guy loves this sweater. He unzips it and likes to expose my bra strap when we make out. Sometimes, he even pulls this part of my sweater down as far as he can, to get access to my breasts for groping and seeing more of my bare skin.

I have another cardigan sweater where the zipper is placed on an angle, but closer to my right side. I also like zippers that unzip on the sides of my sweater.

My best purchases was a baseball sweatshirt with two zippers where the colours change between the front and the sleeves. My guy loves unzipping both zippers to fondle my breasts.

My guy has a knack for unzipping my pants to play with me. I like reciprocating, except that I unzip his fly a lot slower, which gets him extremely excited. I then play with his hard cock for a bit before we let it out of his briefs and pants for some playtime.

Zippers are functional. They are also sexy in preparation for quality time.
