My new car and my awesome product advisor

I got my new car on Wednesday. I love it. It's like my previous car, but quieter and with more features.

I asked my product advisor (he's really my sales guy, but his new title makes more sense) if I could get protector film on my new car, similar to what I got on my old one. It protects the car from stone chips and such. I remembered this feature a week before getting the new car, so I knew that it may not be applied in time.

Sadly, it wasn't. I went back on Friday to drop off my car to get it installed.

The problem was that the dealership doesn't offer shuttle services since the pandemic. I'd have to wait for the work to be done.

"I'll drive you home," he said.
"Really? Thanks," I said.
"You're welcome," he replied.

He took me home and dropped me off at the dealership once the work was done.

He has been my product advisor for three different leased cars. I truly landed a good one.

Received my replacement phone and sent the defective one back to Google

I sent my defective phone back to Google. I also got my replacement phone on the same day.

On Wednesday, I spent a few hours configuring the phone. I also had to get a screen protector for it.

Here's hoping that it's a good phone that doesn't die on me.

New phone

I got my new phone on Friday. I love it! I have been busy configuring and using it.

On Saturday, I got a screen protector for it. I love it, too. I'm waiting for my case to arrive.

I'll write more later. All is well!

My new phone has shipped!

Great news! My Google Pixel 4a 5G phone shipped yesterday. I hope to get it either today or tomorrow.

I get paid later on today. I haven't got around to getting a screen protector. I don't have a case, either! Luckily, I live near a number of cell phone accessory places, so I am bound to find these items.

I'm so excited!

Wet screen protector

Last Friday, I had lunch with three colleagues, including one of my students. Several months ago, she liked my phone so much that she decided to upgrade to the same model. She is equally as enamoured over this phone as I am.

We sat next to each other at the restaurant. She admitted that it made her happy seeing my phone, as it reminds her of my phone.

She taught me something new. She went with a wet phone screen. It basically means that you apply the film by spraying a special solution. It makes applying it to the phone easier.

I have had a glass screen protector on it for a bit. The problem is that my phone is slightly curved, which means that the glass protector does not completely stay flush on the screen.

I noticed that my glass screen protector had a small crack in the left corner. I went online and bought a two-pack of film that you apply wet. It sounds like a sexual innuendo, but it's not!

I just applied it on my phone. Wow! I love how clean it sticks. I'm supposed to let it dry overnight to set. A day later, I am to use the phone case that came with the wet protectors. After five days, I can use my own case. Cool!

New cell phone, staycation, and upcoming spanking

It's October. It's crazy how time flies these days.

I didn't write yesterday. I got my new phone. I am enamoured by my Google Pixel 2 XL phone. Unfortunately, I couldn't restore my data from the cloud. However, it's kind of nice to start from scratch. It just takes a bit longer to download and configure everything.

I went to get a couple of phone cases after work last night. I have purple and pink ones now. I also got a glass screen protector, but I'm not a huge fan of it. It's a full-screen one, but the adhesive is only around the edges, which means that I have this rainbow slick smack in the middle of the screen.

I ordered some other glass screen protectors. They aren't full-screen ones, but I probably like them better because I typically go with that style.

Anyway, I spent a bit of last night packing for my weekend staycation with my guy. I keep thinking of him and look forward to getting spanked at long last.

My guy is back and I have a sore bottom

My guy is back. He is sweeter than ever. He got me a new case and glass protector for my new iPhone 6.

He told me that I look cuter than ever. I thought that he was delusional. I was wrong. He missed me. The feeling is definitely mutual.

He also gave me quite the spanking tonight. I loved it. My sore bottom concurs.

Remembering purchases, giving new gifts, and buying a taser

I recently got a new cell phone. I have had an iPhone 5 for the past three years. My cell phone contract has finally expired. So, I switched providers to go with a discount that I get with my employer. So far, so good.

I now am using an iPhone 6, and love the slightly larger screen and fingerprint recognition feature. It's fun!

The other night on Skype, I told my guy about it. I only have one cell phone case. It's nice, but I love the M&M's characters and need one for this new phone.

My guy remembered that, when we were in Istanbul, I had purchased an M&M's phone case and a glass protector for my iPhone 5.

We talked today about his day. He went to his favourite market in Istanbul after work.
"I bought you an M&M's case in purple," he told me.
"I'm so excited! Thank you," I responded with glee.
"You're welcome. I also got a glass protector for your new phone. I know how much you loved the one that you bought last year."
He's sweet and thoughtful, as always.

He also shared what other goodies he had purchased.
"I also got a taser," he said nonchalantly.
"What are you going to do with it? Go into law enforcement?" I asked him curiously.
"Well, if you resist getting your next spanking from me, I will tase you," he joked.
"You're mean!"
He got it because he was curious to see how it works and it was just dirt cheap.
"I can lend it to you to knock some sense into some of your lazy colleagues on your team," my guy suggested.
"I don't think that would work. They need an electric chair."
"You're so bad," my guy stated, laughing.
It has been a while since I have seen my guy. Naturally, I need some discipline.
