Heatwave, dole whip, and a perk

The heatwave and extreme humidity disappeared yesterday. It was nice to turn off the air conditioning and have my windows open. I prefer cool breezes while still seeing sunshine.

Two days ago, I went out for a perk. I got a free cupcake and cookie. They were good.

I also indulged in some dole whip. I got raspberry and mango flavours. It was refreshing on a scorching day.

It's Friday. The weekend is within reach.

Fortune about only the wisest and stupidest people never changing

On Saturday, I went to a Chinese restaurant for a late lunch. At the end of the meal, I got a fortune cookie.

Here was my fortune:

I don't think that it's just men. My incompetent colleague fits this scenario, for instance.

Perhaps it can also be applied to my ex-guy. He has broken up with me three times. I should have known that he had issues and wasn't going to change the first time he broke up with me.

Of course, it's easier to look back and observe. This fortune was interesting that way. It's all about perspective and interpretation.

Writing about taking his car for a drive soon

My guy and I have been exchanging e-mails while he is away in Cairo. I decided to write to him first.

He likes naming each car that he owns. I do, too. His car's name is Cookie.

There is a car at work that says she's Cookie. She's good. Cookie is lonely and said that I can keep her company by taking her for a spin in the near future. =)

My guy wrote back to me last night. Here is an excerpt:

Don't listen to Cookie. She doesn't know what she's saying!!

I like teasing him about driving his car. It's enjoyable.
