A thoughtful call before travelling along a busy highway

This long weekend couldn't have come at a better time. Work has been busy. It has been the perfect time to unwind, relax, and spend some time with my guy.

I made it to his town just fine. Traffic, for some reason, seems to be bad on highway 401, no matter what time of the day it is. I managed to bypass half of my journey along this highway on Saturday afternoon. When I got on it, there were some stop-and-go moments, but it was smooth otherwise.

Before I left my home, my guy called me.
"Hey, sweetie," I answered. "How are you?"
"I can't wait to see you," he said cheerfully.
He wished me a safe trip. I always like when he calls.

Eager to please on a Friday

Last Friday, my guy was waiting for his ride to a camping site. He wanted to see me before he left. He was in a meeting room by himself.

I walked over there. I couldn't help but caress his perfectly uniform head. I have always found it sexy. He likes that I do.
"I wish that I could pleasure you right now," he said, looking at me lovingly, eager to please.
"I know. You need to hit the road. There will be another time," I replied.
We kissed before we both parted ways. The good news is that I get to see him in the office in just over a week. It's great when we are together at work. We both agree that it makes the workweek tolerable.

Sweet memories of roses

On Tuesday afternoon, my guy and I chatted on Skype. It's pretty often that we do not celebrate Valentine's Day because we are not physically in the same city.

This fact hasn't bugged us. We know that we love each other.

We talked about when he got me a dozen roses just after Valentine's Day a few years ago.
"I liked when we walked to our cars and you were looking around before giving me a beautiful bouquet of roses," I said.
"Yes, I wanted you to have them," he replied.
"They were beautiful. I took a photo, which is on my Nexus 7's lock screen. I still have the dried version of those roses, but I could use some new ones," I said to him lovingly.
"If I were in town, I would definitely get you a replacement," he advised.
"I know. It was a romantic gesture that evening and it's a wonderful memory," I remarked.
"Yes, it was night. I wanted something special for you," he recalled.
The moment seems so fresh in our minds. It's nice.
