Visiting and thinking about my friend who is in hospital

A dear friend texted me the other day to say that she was in the hospital. She let me know yesterday that she had had surgery.

Later on today, I will be heading over to visit her. The drive is just under 1.5 hours for me. I asked if she wanted visitors. I'm so glad that she said yes!

I just finished writing a get-well-soon message for her. I filled out an entire greeting card and will bring it with me. I want to get her a gift card, too. I'm keeping things lightweight.

Lunch chat

My guy and I chatted for an hour. It was evening for him and it was around the lunch hour for me.

He told me that he misses me. I know that he does when he tells me first. I am often the one who says it first. Naturally, it's mutual.
"Are you interviewing today?" he asked me, as it was the case on Monday.
"I'm working with the students today. Our IT helpdesk is useless!" I exclaimed.
"That doesn't surprise me. So, you're being the helpdesk. You're more like the help bombshell," he replied.
"You're sweet, as usual. That would make a good Hallmark card greeting," I noted.
We both laughed. Some of the things that we say to each other should not be in a greeting card!

Sharing my wooden ruler story and being cute

On Friday, I told my guy about what had happened a week ago in my car. It pertains to my boss finding the wooden ruler that my guy uses to spank me.

As expected, he laughed. What were the odds of my boss saying "corporal punishment" when he saw the wooden ruler in the seat pocket in front of him?

My guy and I hadn't seen each other for a bit until we went out for lunch on Friday. He looked across from the table after we had finished eatin.
"How come you get cuter and cuter?" he asked me.
"You're sweet. Are you sure?" I asked him.
"I call it as I see it. My hard cock is also a good indicator."
I swear that he should write greetings for Hallmark cards.
