Driving during rush hour and eating patties

Last night after work, I drove across the city to pick up an order. The drive during rush hour going westbound was a bit crazy. It's never fun having the sun in your face!

Driving back home was far more enjoyable in the dark. It was my usual drive home early two years ago, before this pandemic. It wasn't busy, which was nice.

I bought a dozen beef patties after I had picked up my order. They were so good. They were hot. I ate two of them in my car before heading home.

Thank goodness I bought a dozen. At the rate that Imm consuming them, they won't last long!

Enjoyable Sunday

On Sunday, I had a good day.

I gave myself a manicure and pedicure. Last week, I got rid of my old base coat. On Sunday, I got rid of my old top coat. My polish looks a lot better on my nails with new base and top coats.

I also wrote a lot. I find it therapeutic.

Sundays are enjoyable for me these days. I took a nap. I made myself breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I didn't go out. It was nice.

I now need to get through the week to look forward to the long weekend ahead.

Kissing from the beginning

Last night, when I was slowly drifting asleep, I remembered a kissing moment that my guy and I had early in our relationship.

We were in the treehouse. We were kissing for a bit, which is always enjoyable.

"I enjoy kissing you. Can I show you how I like kissing you?" he asked me.
"Sure," I replied.

He first kissed my cheek. He then kissed the corner of my mouth and inched his way over with kisses until his full lips met mine.

It's interesting, but we have varied our kisses since then that I completely forgot about this moment until it resurfaced out of the blue.

My guy enjoys when I kiss him unexpectedly. Perhaps I'll need to resurrect his way of kissing soon.
