Electric toothbrush change

I have used an electric toothbrush for nearly two decades. It does make a difference. I get my teeth cleaned at the dentist's office twice a year and my plaque buildup is minimal.

I have been a Braun Oral-B user since the beginning. My recent one was falling apart on the outside after nearly a decade.

Recently, I bought a replacement electric toothbrush and decided to try a Philips Sonicare DiamondClean classic. It's purple, which happens to be my favourite colour.

I will use it for the first time once I'm done writing this post. It's currently charting in a glass cup. It's neat.

It's funny how a small change is an exciting one.

My travel toothbrush is still a Braun Oral-B. I am glad that I have it around, as I have many brush head replacements for it.

Congrats to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The team beat the Hamilton Ti-Cats in Canadian League Football (CFL).

The Blue Bombers have ended a 29-year drought. Yay!

St. Louis Blues are Stanley Cup champions! Here's to beer and Gloria!

The St. Louis Blues have won the Stanley Cup. Yay!

I have had a fun arrangement with my manager. When the Blues win a playoff hockey game, he owes me a beer. He has already bought me one beer. I have three more beers coming my way.

As for me, I promised to play Laura Branigan's song, Gloria. It's the Blues song that's played when the team wins. Deal!

Happy Easter and Passover!

To those who celebrate, happy Easter and Passover!

Things are good here. Today is my final day of my long weekend. I have enjoyed sleeping in.

Unfortunately, my NHL team, the Winnipeg Jets, got eliminated from its Stanley Cup run. Oh, well. There's always next year.

Kissing, planning my spanking, and more kissing

My guy and I sat down after we unlocked lips. It's instinctual that we hold hands, even across from each other.

He moved closer to me, wrapping his legs around mine. We kissed some more. He cupped and groped my breasts. I caressed his chest.
"If we weren't so close to the security office, I'd bend over this table to get my spanking," I said.
"Yes, my hand would make a lot of noise spanking that cute butt of yours," he said.
"We can't have security coming in to see if we are okay," I smiled.
"It's been such a long time since I've spanked you. I'll need to spank you longer and harder to make up for lost time," he reasoned.
"That's going to hurt, Mr Meanie," I noted.
"Yes, it will," he said firmly.
We both smiled, and continued to kiss and hug.

World Cup pool aftermath

I didn't win the World Cup pool at work. I came fourth. I did better than I had expected.

When I first broke the news to my guy, he told me not to be sad. He said that I had a great run. He was right.

He reinforced that feeling the other night.
"I'm so proud of you. You're not European or male, and you managed to give everyone a run for their money," he said.
"You're being your sweet self," I replied.
"No, I really mean it. You were a threat and you predicted well," he noted.
"Thanks, sweetie. I was the top female, which is something to be proud of," I replied.
It was fun. I am glad that I don't have to think about the World Cup for another four years.

World Cup fever

I am in a World Cup pool at work. There are roughly three women in a heavily male-dominated office pool.
"I am leading the pool," I told my guy.
"Really? That's cool!" he exclaimed.
"Thanks. I have been leading for over a week. I hope that I can hang on. That's the bonus that I never got at work this year," I replied.
"I have full confidence that you'll win it," he said, smiling.
My guy loves when he learns new things about me. I am a hockey fan. However, I have loved watching World Cup games since 2002. I got laid off in the States that year and moved back to Canada. I had nothing better to do than watch games at odd hours of the day.

Here's hoping that I can hang on and win.
