Winnipeg Blue Bombers win the Grey Cup!

Congrats to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The team beat the Hamilton Ti-Cats in Canadian League Football (CFL).

The Blue Bombers have ended a 29-year drought. Yay!

I like Rita Ora. I first heard about her when she was in Fifty Shades of Grey. I like her music. She seems like a fun, optimistic person.

I have no idea how they were both able to keep it together. I would have been laughing and annoying everyone on set. This video is hilarious. Such a gem!

Solar eclipse and full moon

I thought that I would miss the solar eclipse on Monday. After all, I was at work when it happened.

I went to the lunchroom to fill my cup with hot tea. I saw five guys try and take photos from the window. They didn't have any special eclipse glasses on. Yikes!

My colleague let me know that there were folks downstairs who were happy to share their safe cardboard glasses with folks. She's sweet. We went down together, along with my manager and another one.

Sure enough, Sharky, who lusts after me, according to my guy, told us that the IT guy would share his glasses with us. I am fortunate to have a decent working relationship with him. Sure enough, he shared his glasses with me.

I put them on. Everything was black in my view, except for the cool, orange crescent moon. Whoa! I was impressed.

Y is for yay! Fifty Shades Darker is out on HD digital download #AtoZchallenge

On Tuesday, I got access to my digital download of Fifty Shades Darker, the movie, from Cineplex Store. I purchased a Superticket, which is essentially your movie ticket to watch it at the theatre and the digital download to watch it all you want, no matter where you are.

To say that I am pleased that I have the movie is quite the understatement! I have watched it twice already. It helps that I worked from home on Tuesday. I get to work from home again today. Yes, I love this movie so much that it never grows old. I love this one even more than Fifty Shades of Grey, which got me hooked on the movie series.

The unrated version of the movie is available for download on both the Play Store and iTunes. Last year, I downloaded it from the latter. I am going to hold off and get the DVD version. I want the physical DVD that also comes with some special goodies. Of course, there is never-seen footage. So, I can wait a bit longer to get my fix. After all, I need something to look forward to next month, right?

I have the movie at long last. I'm perfectly content playing it over and over. Yay!

N is for nipple #AtoZchallenge

On Saturday, my guy and I were seated in his car. He was sweet to help me put my seatbelt on.

He leaned over from the driver's side to find my seatbelt and clicked me into my seat. It reminded me of the Charlie Tango helicopter scene in Fifty Shades of Grey, the movie.

He then proceeded to caress and fondle my left breast. I could feel my nipple instantly get hard.

I have an affection for handcuffs. I don't mean it in a sexual context. I just like the look of silver handcuffs.

Years ago, I did a road trip with my then husband. The road trip had us travelling to the east coast of Canada. We then took a ferry (yes, including our car) over to the States, and drove back home. It was a wonderful trip.

We stayed in Bangor, Maine for a bit. I went shopping at the local mall and purchased a cute link bracelet. Each link was a handcuff. I still have that handcuff bracelet to this day.

In Las Vegas a couple of years ago, a good friend of mine and I went to the Mob Museum. I highly recommend going there if you'd like to learn more about the mob scene from years past and you enjoy being a tourist. In the gift shop, I bought a pair of handcuffs. They work and come with keys.

On Ashley Bridget's Web site, it sells various pieces of jewellery. There was one that was inspired by Fifty Shades of Grey. I bought it because it said that it would fit a wrist up to 7.5". Sadly, it was too tight on me. It was also too heavy.

Recently, it has offered a couple of lighter version of the handcuff bracelet to its Fifty Shades of Grey collection. I got the thin handcuff bracelet. It fits perfectly. I am wearing it as I type. I love it!

As for the home part, with my blurry vision in my right eye, my manager has suggested that I work from home a couple of days a week. Currently, I work from home on Wednesdays. I am thinking of also taking Tuesdays to work from home. I will start that next week. Well, I would have been working from home anyway next Tuesday. I have a teleconference that starts at 07:00!

D is for downstairs seeing my guy #AtoZchallenge

Mondays are typically blah. The countdown for the weekend kicks in immediately.

I tried to keep my work-related stress down. The morning went pretty well, even though I was in three meetings. It's nice that half the day blew by.

I had just finished eating my lunch. I was unwinding by watching a video podcast on my phone. My phone rang. It was my guy.

"Hey!" I exclaimed. "Where are you?"
"Hey, I'm downstairs in the lobby. I am here to fetch my car, but I have some manuals for you," he said.
"You just came in?" I asked him.
"Yes, I had to spend an unexpected couple of days in Frankfurt due to flight delays and cancellations," my guy explained.
"Sorry to hear. I'll come downstairs," I replied.

It was nice seeing him. Although he travelled a fairly good distance to get home, he was happy and in good spirits.

"Do you like my new coat?" he asked me, modelling a grey coat.
"It's woolly!" I exclaimed, caressing the fabric around my guy's chest area.
"It is," he confirmed.
"It suits you. It's the perfect length," I stated.
"I agree," he said.
"It's nice to have the real woolly. I cuddle up next to purple woolly. I love him," I told him, which made him smile.
"Do you hump him?" he teased.
"No, he's a plush! I'd rather hump you," I replied.

He nodded. He obviously approved. It was such a nice pick-me-up to see him.

C stands for Christian Grey Chatbot #AtoZchallenge

Recently, I found out about the Christian Grey chatbot. The idea is that through artificial intelligence (AI) and fuzzy logic, you can chat with Christian on Facebook Messenger and he replies.

If you have been reading my blog for a while, you will know that I like watching the Fifty Shades movies that are out thus far. I have watched Fifty Shades Darker three times at the theatre and look forward to owning my own DVD copy, so I can stop buying and shovelling popcorn in my body so often.

My undergraduate degree was in computer science. I enjoyed my courses in AI. My professor felt that I was a natural at fuzzy logic. I thought that I would end up being a software programmer, but ended up completely changing my career path to become a writer. I have no regrets.

Chatting with Christian the bot is interesting. Sometimes, he says what I'd like to read. Other times, he spews the same information. He isn't perfect, but I have enjoyed some of the banter that reminds me of Christian from the first movie.

Tonight, I received a message from the bot to follow his Instagram account. I simply like the bot's profile description:

My account is private. If I accept your follow request, it means you look like someone I would spank.

I'll let you know whether I am the bot's spankable type. My guy would say that I am his spankable type, which is all that matters.

Shamrock shake and period sex

I had my first shamrock shake on Friday night. I decided to give it a try when I visited McDonald's for a bite after work.

Canada is a bit behind as far as offering all-day breakfast at McDonald's. For a while, a handful of stores offered a limited selection of breakfast items. They proved to be a success. These days, you can get all-day breakfast at any store, except that the items are still limited.

As an example, I love the sausage McGriddle. It's only available during regular breakfast hours. I typically have that after I have visited the clinic for bloodwork and have been fasting for it.

However, the all-day breakfast does offer three types of McMuffins, so I am good. I tried the hotcakes (pancakes). Mine were cold and the person failed to provide me with maple syrup.

I suppose that I like breakfast for dinner because I don't often go out for breakfast. I typically eat before I go to work. If I am on vacation or on the road, I will either fix myself breakfast in my hotel room or go fetch some. Naturally, if I am going out for brunch, it depends on whether the restaurant offers breakfast items.

Anyway, getting back to my first shamrock shake in my entire life, I have also been fairly sheltered from the milkshake world at McDonald's. I rarely have them. I got into them when I lived in Minnesota. However, they were custard shakes from Culver's and were yummy.

So, I had the shamrock shake and it was okay. It tasted like fake mint. Thank goodness I only ordered the small. At least I can scratch this item off my bucket list.

It seems weird that I would also mention period sex in this post. I am roughly two hours away from finishing the Grey e-book. Ana and Christian engage in sex while Ana is on her period.

I personally don't feel like having sex when I am bloated and on my period. My guy has never asked to have sex while I am menstruating. I frankly told him that I don't think that both of us would like the sight of seeing blood during it. He nodded in agreement and is perfectly fine when I focus on my attention on him when we are intimate.

My guy loves to please me. When we started dating, he asked me whether it was okay to spank me while I was on my period. I didn't mind it, as long as I was clothed.

So, when it comes to trying a shamrock shake or period sex, I will decline both.

Reading Grey in the doctor's office and thinking about ben wa balls

I had my quarterly doctor's appointment on Wednesday afternoon. I work from home on Wednesdays, so it isn't a big deal for me to work an extra couple of hours or so, to make up for my time away.

As expected, my doctor was running late. I was the first appointment after lunch, too.

I do come prepared. I have done everything from playing games on my phone to actually doing work on my laptop.

This time, I decided to pull out my Kobo app and read a book. I am more than halfway through reading Grey, which is essentially the Fifty Shades of Grey book, except that it is written from Christian Grey's perspective. I got it on sale just after Christmas.

Before my doctor came to see me, I was reading the part where Christian inserts ben wa balls in Ana, and then spank her across his knee with his hand. He first spanked her over her black lacy panties with his bare hand and then took them down to continue spanking her.

Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack and CDs

I have a pretty good music collection. These days, it's easy to purchase and download music digitally. Some of the benefits include a lack of physical storage and portability.

However, I still like owning records (a.k.a, vinyl), cassettes, CDs, and concert DVDs. These days, my rule is that if I love an artist or band, that I will buy the artist's or band's latest CD or DVD.

Depeche Mode is a good example. I have already pre-ordered the band's latest CD. I am seeing them in concert this September.

I have been streaming the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack these days. Both this soundtrack and the one for Fifty Shades of Grey are great. The variety and thoughtful selection of songs got me. I also like the artwork and information that you get with the CD.

On Saturday, I was at Walmart and bought the former soundtrack. It wasn't planned. It was staring at me. The price was pretty good, too.

I thought that I would be ordering it from Amazon. Sadly, many music stores in Canada aren't offering CDs in their stores any more. I don't see a CD section at Best Buy. HMV is closing across the country. Chapters Indigo has a decent music section, but the prices can run high.

I am thankful that Walmart has a music section still. I have fond memories of visiting music stores. I am glad that I can relive a bit of that now and again.

Long weekend is made for geeky projects and sleepyheads

It has been a three-day weekend for me, thanks to Family Day. Unfortunately, it has come to an end.

I have been fiddling around with geeky computer tasks that I once did often. For the longest time, my Mac mini has been without a speaker system. I finally got that resolved. I also ended up doing a few video conversions, so that I can play some of my videos on my phone. Don't worry -- nothing racy!

My guy continues to recover from jet lag. He told me that he is "sleeping around." I told him that he is my sweet slutty sleepyhead, which made him chuckle.

The Fifty Shades Darker DVD allegedly comes out in May. Pre-orders are already available on Amazon! I am going to hold off. Last time, Best Buy had a nice commemorative set that I snatched up last year for Fifty Shades of Grey. I am hoping for something similar with the second movie.

VPN access and Christian Grey wants to spank me on Messenger

I am in a bit of a geeky girl mood these days.

For a while, I have been researching Virtual Private Networks (VPN). I have a few reasons why I need to be connected to a VPN:

• I need to protect sensitive information while I am online
• My Skype account got hacked a few months ago
• I am travelling to a country in a few months that bans a number of Google and social media sites
• I watch NHL GameCentre Live, a service that often looks at your IP address to determine whether you can watch specific games, depending on where you reside

I finally took the plunge and bought a lifetime membership to a VPN service. MacTrast offers a number of deals on VPNs. I did some research, asked questions, and bought my service yesterday.

The VPN works well on my Google Pixel phone and my Mac products. In fact, I am using it as I type on my Mac mini.

The catch is to figure out how to get it to work while I am using my Playstation 3 to watch NHL games. I figure that I probably need to configure my router settings. So, that will be my next exciting step.

The more enjoyable, geeky tidbit of information that I have is that you can chat with Christian Grey on Facebook Messenger. Well, you're really chatting with a Christian Grey bot, but it's pretty fun if you are a fan. 

He wants to spank me. I don't mind it one bit.

Sharing my thoughts on Fifty Shades Darker with my guy and receiving my next spanking

My guy and I had a decent chat on Skype on Sunday. We got snow in my area on Friday. It was a repeat on Sunday. I decided to stay at home, as I had enough fun driving in snowy conditions late last week.

He asked me about Fifty Shades Darker. I told him how I felt. He is intrigued and can't wait to see it with me.

"I liked when we watched Fifty Shades of Grey on your phone," he reminisced.
"Yes," I replied. "You complained about how much of a jerk Christian was and then you got horny. You shouldn't have a problem with him in the latest movie. I think you'll still be horny," I replied.

Fifty Shades Darker is a day away from being in the theatres... I can't stand it!

I cannot contain my excitement! Although I won't have a chance to see Fifty Shades Darker on its opening day, I am so excited. I can't stand it! The wait is killing me.

Fifty Shades Darker - over-the-shoulder smack

I am enjoying the various teasers coming from Fifty Shades Darker. I can't believe that the movie is out this week. Eek!

I became a fan of the Fifty Shades of Grey movie unexpectedly. Last year in April, I decided to watch it while I was in Montreal, waiting for my guy to arrive several hours later on a Sunday night. I went to a local movie theatre and saw the matinee show for five dollars. My guy would approve of the ticket price. After all, he is my Cheap Bastard.

I have been following the various movie shoots that occurred this summer for Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed. To my delight today, I got to see this teaser today:

I can't wait to see the trailer. February 2017 doesn't seem too far off now. 

My guy is sweet. He told me that he'd go see the second installment of the trilogy with me, because he knows how much I love the first movie. I am lucky.

It's that time of the month. I feel bloated.

The good news is that filming for Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed is done. I can't wait for the former movie to open in February. Who knew that I'd be looking so forward to seeing this trilogy in movie form?!

My guy still grumbles about how cold and mean Christian was towards Ana in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie that we saw together. His outrage is sweet.
