"I got a self-propelled lawnmower for $200. It is regularly $500," he said, with pride. He laughed. He is a good sport.
"You must be thrilled with your savings," I noted.
"Yes, CB is happy," he replied.
"I like that you got a self-propelled mower. First, you don't have to exert yourself as much, so you do less work. Second, you can follow the lawnmower so you don't get lost leaving your property," I noted.
He told me the other day that he wished that he had more time to hold my hand and love me when we went shopping last week. It's nice when he's mushy and sweet.
I'm excited to see him on Saturday!
Wrong labels, not cheap bastard, but sweet and mushy...
ReplyDeleteSmile,
Liquidation center should be forbidden, behind every sale is a sad story.
A bargain is a bargain, but not at cost of people.
Just my opinion,
Han
Yes, I should call him sweet and mushy guy.
DeleteThis liquidation centre is a bit misleading. It's more like a warehouse full of surplus goods. No job losses have taken place. It's more the opposite -- Costco keeps building new stores and hiring more employees across Canada.
On the other hand, a computer store that I loved in my neighbourhood closed its entire chain last year. I felt horrible about staff that I dealt with regularly losing their jobs. I haven't truly found another decent computer store since it closed down.
Happy your guy got a self-propelling mower so that he can expend his energy on you and not on his yard. ;)
